Majestic Nails & Day Spa

My long time nail professional, had gone on vacation to Vietnam for 2 months, so I tried Majestic Nails on the recommendation of a friend. Kelly did a beautiful job with my gel nails. I will definitely be back.

I have been coming here for years since I was in high school and continue to come back. Cindy does a fantastic job on my acrylic nails. She gives great recommendations from a stylistic perspective and is always willing to try a new design. All of the ladies are super sweet and do quality work. I recommend making an appointment if you can because this place gets kind of busy on Saturdays. Keep up the good work, ladies!

If you are looking for an excellent spa manicure experience in the RB/​Poway area this is the place. Cindy and her amazing ladies really know how to pamper! This nail salon is clean, neat and efficient and the variety and quality of polish cannot be beat. This is my go to place when visiting home — I haven’t found a place I like in LA as much as Majestic!

I’ve been here a couple times. Mindy is by far my favorite, she always makes me feel relaxed & does a great job with my gel manicure. This nail salon is personable, efficient & does an amazing job! I highly recommend.

As far as hospitality goes, I was a first time walk-​in costumer and they were able to take me right away. I was given a water bottle and a pillow was placed behind my back, so started off pleasant. BUT… The lady seemed like she was in a rush to do my nails. Almost every single finger at the quick/​nail bed was ground by the dermal. Now all my fingers are very painful and getting infected!

I like this place, a Lil pricey for the area but the ladies are very nice and respectful! !! They do a great job!

Under new management! Totally worth checking out! Very sweet staff and want to please their customers. Can be a little warm inside the shop but try to go in the morning or evening and that seems to help :)

Be ready to get treated like a queen! A+++ service! Everyone who works here is amazing! Both in attitude and service! We’ve been coming here for years… and we always leave satisfied.

DO NOT GO here! They are loud and unprofessional (mostly the manager) and rush the jobs and have too many people working on you even thoughyou ask for one person. Also, I learned that they overbook and put the appointments too close 15 minutes between a mani-​pedi knowing it takes an hour for each person. They want clients in, but have been losing clients because of poor business practices.

The only Nice and polite one at this salon is Holly. She is super sweet and kinda quiet and timid. She does an amazing job and pays great attention to detail. She was very gentle with my broken toe. The other two ladies whose names I don’t know were very rude, loud and had no knowledge of customer service. Holly did my pedicure, gave me a great massage for about ten minutes or so. I didn’t book an appt and just walked in. She happened to be free and for that I’m so grateful :)

So I walked in and asked about how long for a mani pedi. they said 30 mins so I figured why not get one done on my break. The lady who did my pedicure was a dream quiet attentive and delivered what I was hoping for. Now for the manicure I don’t know what was going on. I had three different ladies one cut and filed, than another one did lotion and oils and than filed more. Than a different lady painted. I really felt like it was somewhat unprofessional.

This was by no means horrible, but I will not return.
I went in and got a pedicure, a pedicure that lasted 25 minutes. I don’t get pedicures too often because the polish tends to last a long time. When I do get them, I’m getting them so I can relax. I was a little disappointed by the quickness.
After looking closer, it doesn’t seem like she spent too much time making sure the polish didn’t go on my skin.
$ 18 pedicure, good price, but not going back.

I will never set foot in this place again! My pedicure was ok but the reason I’m displeased was with the rude treatment I received from the manager (guessing this is Cindi?). I decided I would also get a manicure. I have extremely weak nails & honestly am not up to date on the various artificial nails. She suggested I try «powder» (acylic?) & to do the french manicure look. During the process she became visibly & verbally upset with me telling me to relax my hands because I was making it hard for her to do my nails. This contined with her jerking my hands & arms around & after she commented again, I indicated that I was not enjoying my experience any better. It certainly was not what I thought I was signing up for. In retrospect I wish I had walked out of the salon when this all began & gone somewhere else to finish the job or remove the product she applied.
She may have good reviews for her work but she needs a lesson in customer service. I have never been treated this rudely in a business establishment & I’m mad at myself for allowing this as a customer. My cuticles are still a mess & on top of that I now have hangnails & soreness. The other ladies working in the salon were nice & several even gave me sympathetic glances.
I am not a complainer & usually try to understand everyone has a bad day. But with the way she treated me I felt I had to speak up. I have shared my experience with several people & they were shocked.

I LOVE Majestic! Had a wedding to go to so got a pedicure on Thursday. Friday must of scraped the polish on my big toe. Went in on Saturday and they re-​did ALL the polish @ NO charge! All the gals super sweet and efficient.

I love this place, been going here for many years now. Everyone is great, especially Annie. If you are ever unhappy or have a problem they want to work with you and fix it. They take pride in their work, nails and toes. The place is always clean and fun to be at. Every 2 – 3 weeks for me for almost 5 years now & the few times I tried another place due to being out of town or saw a deal somewhere I have regretted it. They are super and I am picky!

My wife and I both love this place. Both get peddi’s here and the ladies are always nice and fun. Great prices great service.

Worst pedicure I have ever had. Chipped & bubbled immediately. Have been getting my nails & feet done for over 35 years and this has been the worst experience I have ever had! Ever !!

I’ve come here before and normally it’s a nice salon with good service, however, on this particular occasion, they tried to upsale everything and I felt they were extremely rude when I turned down the offerings. Once they knew I didn’t want more than the regular treatment I came for, they were far more concerned with getting me out the door. To top it off, my big toe got infected and it was disgusting. This obviously means they don’t clean their nail equipment. I definitely won’t be returning to this place and wouldn’t recommend it. There are plenty of options in the area (I’ve heard great things about the place next to Home Goods where the meni-​pedi is $ 25).

Ask for cindi. Love this place! Well priced, efficent and clean. Highly suggest shellacing.

This is by far the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. I’ve been going here since they opened and have never had a bad experience. It is on the more expensive side as far as nail salons go, but you get what you pay for.
Everyone here is so nice and they remember me every time I come in. They always give a bottle of water when I take a seat and hand me a magazine to read.
One of the things I love about this place is that it is so clean! You can always see them sterilizing the spas and the tools after every customer in order to prevent the spread of infection.
I always get the European Spa Pedicure and my feet always come out feeling soft and silky. I enjoy how they give me a thorough foot and leg massage and the massage chairs are always great to sit in to alleviate any small back pressure.
I have also gotten my full sets here with the gel overlay and my nails can go nearly a month without a fill. The acrylic doesn’t chip and if on occasion they lift, I go in and they repair it with no problem!
I only wish they were open on Sundays since it’s most convenient for me, but I’d rather wait til they’re open than go anywhere else.
