Great ending to Smashed window.
woke up this morning to find passenger side back window smashed (in my driveway). minor mess outside; major mess inside. Called these guys up. They were ready with window and time. Dropped by in 20 minutes; it was fixed in an hour.
I thought i would need to go home and clean up the mess inside — but voila — they did a great job with the mess and with the window. Matches the other factory tinted windows.
oh — and a very reasonable price.
5 stars — couldn’t have been a better ending to a lousy situation.

I needed to get my windshield replaced on my Honda Accord and saw that this place had one of the best reviews and they also had a Groupon $ 29 for $ 100 towards a windshield replacement, so it was definitely my first choice.
I called and got an estimate for $ 288 for a premium windshield (the one specified for the Groupon) and made the appointment for the next morning.
I dropped off my car and they told me it would be an hour, so I came back in an hour and it was all done and looked great. They honored the Groupon so in total I paid $ 185! It was great. They were all really nice and polite.
The only thing I have to complain about is that when I got into my car, there was black stains on my middle console. Small stains, so I didn’t feel the need to mark down the stars. I know accidents happen, and to have great work done for a good price, it definitely isn’t a big deal.
I would definitely recommend this place to people!

The service was good, however, I purchased the Unilocal deal before going in for my windshield replacement. While there, they told me the Unilocal deal was only good for discounting against the list price of the windshield, but not against the quote they had given me. I just didn’t see it written anywhere as a restriction of the Unilocal deal. The guy at the desk was kind enough to give me face value of what I spent, which was $ 20.
Again, quality of work was very good, and they were courteous. I just bumped them down because the Unilocal deal was really non-​existent and just a waste of time.

Gave us a fast HONEST service and of course LOW cost. They hold up to their name, and actually stand behind what they quote on the phone! Did not even try to add stuff or inflate the bill for any reason. while other places like dealerships try to suck u dry for an easy glass fix…

They guys at the shop were very nice and upfront, but I guess I was expecting too much.
I had purchased a groupon, but when it comes to auto repairs you never end up getting a quality repair at a discount. The clerk suggested getting the windshield replaced before he even saw the damage.
I had a small crack in my windshield from a rock that struck the driver’s side. The impact left a quarter sized crack.
When I checked in, the desk clerk let me know that the damage would still be there after the repair, but it would be less prevalent. I had him check it out and he pointed out that there were two impacts and that they would only cover one.
There weren’t two impacts. It was one rock that obviously was jagged and it left two marks when it struck. The second mark was still on top of the first, but they left it untouched.
The final product was slightly thinner lines and they left the impressions left by the physical impacts untouched. There really was no point of going there in the end. It was a waste of money since I still have a crack right in my field of vision .
I’ve never heard of a glass repair place that can’t repair the glass. It was nothing like he safelight commercials where they make it look like the damage never occurred. That’s what I get for using groupon.

I was lucky enough to have my car broken into when it was parked in downtown so my whole front drivers side window was shattered. I texted GoButler to handle it for me because I got anxious every time I looked at the spot where my lovely little window used to be. They directed me to Low Cost Auto Glass and I’m definitely glad I called! The guy I talked to on the phone got me an appointment the very next morning. When I took my car in the staff was really friendly and they finished my car in an hour!
I hadn’t cleaned up the glass in my car yet because I wanted to take it to a professional place but the guys vacuumed it all out for me, one less thing to worry about!
I’m not usually a review writer, I’m just that stoked about the service. I called another place before I called this one but the staff was way friendlier at Low Cost.

I bought a Groupon coupon to fix a small crack on my husband’s car, when my husband showed up to get his window fixed one of the employees just told him NO we can’t fix it call and get your refund, he didn’t even quote him for a full window replacement or told him why he couldn’t fix it. I just called Groupon for a full refund, unfortunately I won’t be recommending this place to anyone.

Read all the positive recommendations on this thread so thought I’d give it a shot. Spoke with Mike and he was completely flexible with either me coming to the shop or have a service guy come out to my place of residence to replace. Of course, took the mobile service.
Efren was prompt and arrived as promised. The area replaced was the small window on the passenger side which took less than 45 min.
Fast, convenient and professional. I too am convinced and testify these guys are legit! I will def use Low cost auto glass for all my damaged window needs!

I thought for sure that I’ve already reviewed these guys because they’ve done excellent work for us before. Anyway, once again, Low Cost Auto Glass did a fantastic job on a windshield replacement, including reattaching all the satellite and alarm stuff. They got us in quickly and performed perfectly. Don’t waste your time anywhere else … as good as it gets!

I came here on Wednesday because of a little incident with my window being completely shattered. After I had called other places in San Diego that were trying to charge 250 – 270 for my window; I called them, talk to someone who quoted me $ 185. Was there & done in less than 2 hours. These guys don’t just do windshields, they also do car door glass as well! Top-​notch customer service is really what sets this company apart!
I came in for a window that had fallen into the door. From what the diagnosis revealed, the motor in the power window system for that door had gone bad and needed replacement. The pricing was below most competitor prices out the gate & they saved my window glass, instead of having to replace it, further cutting costs!
Professional, skilled & knowledgeable. The only bad thing that happened was that the motor they needed took HOURS to arrive from their supplier. No fault of theirs, but Mike was still looking at service-​recovery opportunity at this point, and took an additional amount off the end total because of the longer than usual wait time.
I recommend these guys to everyone now. You should go too!

Unfortunately, it does happen sometimes, when a stupid rock hits your windshield and causes a crack or some kind of damage. So I searched around town for the best quality for the best price, and I found low cost. I called them on a Tuesday and said I would come in at 4pm the same day for a replacement, gave them all my info and stuff. So I got there later that day, and no one knew what I was talking about, there was some sort of miscommunication and I was never put down for an appointment. I forgot to ask for the person’s name that I talked to so they don’t know who it was, but I showed them my phone log to show that I did call and talk to someone. Obviously, I was upset, I left work early and wasted my time, and I was about to look elsewhere for the service. Then I talked to victor and he told me he could do it tomorrow anytime, and mobile service would be free. The amount that we saw on the computer for an OEM windshield was $ 258, but he was willing to go down to $ 240 for the inconvenience.
Efren came over my house the next day and replaced the windshield. I found a $ 20 for $ 50 off coupon, but it was only for in-​store service. Called up victor and he said he’d honor it this time. Replacement took only 40 minutes and windshield came out great.
Impressive customer service, quality work, reasonable price.

The service was ok, and the window got installed just fine; I wish I would have gotten a heads up that the work on my car was going to take 2 hours so I could have planned appropriately. But the work was carried out just fine and everything looks great. The price was fair and they scheduled me for the next day, so that’s a plus.
The reason I’ve got this at three stars is because of the Unilocal voucher, which is not good for prices you get quoted over the phone. I’ve let Unilocal know about my experience when I asked for (and was granted) a refund for the voucher. To Low Cost’s credit, the first person I dealt with told me that it wasn’t valid, but grudgingly would accept it. When it came time to pay, I was dealing with a different person, and had to navigate the same conversation again. After two hours, I just wanted to get out of there. I think these guys should either tell people in the description of the coupon accurately what it will cover (not good for rates quoted over the phone), or remove the coupon.

I really wanted to give 5 stars because Victor was so helpful during a stressful time but some things took away from that last star.
Over all GO HERE! it is so cheap and very professional!
During my experience, i tried calling and my phone call wasn’t answered (it was 8:30 so ill give them a break because they were probably still opening up) BUT as soon as i walked in, I was given a solution to my problem and a very good one. We set up a time, even tho he offered to do it right on the spot. Brought my car back at 1130 and before 1230, my window was back and glass was vacuumed out of my car.
Con: noticed a couple of deep scratches on the plastic part of my door on the inside part. Wish they could have been a little more careful…
But, I was very thankful for how professional and kind these gentleman were. The last thing you need after getting your window busted is anything but that. Thank you so much! Definitely recommend

Woke up to my window smashed on the driver side. Called multiple places but it was all around $ 200. Finally got in touch with Low Cost Auto Glass, they had free mobile service within the hour and replaced my window and vacuumed all the glass in less than 40 minutes. Guy was super chill and payed by card on the spot. It was like it never happened! All done by 10am (: 5 stars everything, the window looks great I want to replace them all now! (Joking). Highly recommend! Hit them up now!

Don’t hesitate to get your windshield replaced here! Not only is it probably the best price in town but the people working and running this place are totally cool too. A good friend recommended this place to me and I’m sure glad that they did!
I finally, over the course of several years had let a star in my windshield turn in to a crack and then progressively run its way across my entire windshield. I finally had to do something about it and really wasn’t looking forward to putting out a ton of cash or having to deal with the hassle of taking my car somewhere to get the windshield replaced but sadly, it had to be done.
Fortunately for me, Low Cost Auto Glass pretty much eliminated those two aforementioned concerns. Not only was I quoted a great price of under $ 170 out the door but I was able to schedule a next day appointment and once I got there the staff and owner were extremely friendly, professional and a pleasure to deal with. So I had no need to stress out. This was going to be easy.
They had it replaced within and hour and with plenty of businesses nearby, there were plenty of ways to kill the time if I didn’t feel like staying there. When I came back, the car was waiting for me, they got me rang up really quickly, gave me a few pointers on care and I was on my way.
The whole process was totally painless. I was in and out quickly and with only a slightly lighter wallet. I can easily recommend this place when you’re stuck between a rock and a hard place and need to get the windshield replaced ASAP.

This place is awesome! I had the rotten luck to begin my day by seeing my rear driver’s side window of my Honda civic busted, glass strewn everywhere. Varying degrees of emotion flooded my mind as I went through panic, anger, and feeling vulnerable. I didn’t even have anything of value inside, it was as clean as could be.
They just threw a stone that even broke the door panel on the other side. So there’s not much I could do but shake it off. I vacuumed up all the glass that I could although there are still fine tiny pieces that I just couldn’t get.
After finding this place through Unilocal,I immediately went there and the service was so fast. Thanks to Victor the technician! He gave me a good deal all things considered and I didn’t wait longer than literally 40 minutes!
The window looks great and it’s like it was never broken in the first place! I wish it hadn’t happened but if God forbid it ever does again, I know exactly what to do and where to go now. Don’t even hesitate!

I submitted a quote request on Sunday and promptly received a follow up call Monday morning. I was given a verbal quote, but was at work so requested an email quote. It was indicated that that wouldn’t be a problem, they already had my email from the form I filled.
The quote never came so I called about 2 hours later. The rep that answered told me the guy I spoke to was out of the office, to call back in 20 minutes. I wait about 40 minutes before calling back. I call back and the call is answered and I’m to be transferred to the person that provided the quote that morning. I wait for 5 minutes on hold before it starts ringing and rings for eternity and doesn’t go anywhere.
I call back and they stopped answering altogether.
They get a star for at least verbally quoting a good price and responding to the web request. However, I’m not sure if I can trust my car with a shop that can’t handle basic customer service.
