Lloyd Pest & Termite Control

Lloyds in my opinion is the MOST incompetent pest control service I think I have encountered. In response to rodents in the garage at a rental their response was to set traps inside the garage. Not to try to prevent their intrusion but to set traps. I showed the tech photos of the rodents, video of the rodents, and entry points. If one gets on their hands and knees it was easy to see gnawed wood and rodent hair. Lloyds response? Traps. How about we keep the rodents out, Lloyds? Even the property management company sent an email agreeing that entry prevention was needed. Lloyds? No. Traps. At the last visit of the tech I explained to him that rodents chew wiring harnesses of automobiles and that entry prevention was paramount in my mind. Idiots.

Lloyd was the worst service I ever had in my life. I had bed bugs in my unit that came from other units in the building. The property manager uses Lloyd Pest Control and obviously they were already not doing a good job at all. Anyway this woman from Lloyd called «Dee» came to my place and was super rude right the way. She did not explain the process properly and also didn’t brought to my attention that other units in the building had the same problem. After their treatment was not working she kept blaming on me that I was bringing the bed bugs from somewhere else, even from the plane she said when I was out of the country and came back after their treatment and was attacked by bed bugs. I had to call another company and pay with my own money. They did a good job and they were gone right the way. Lloyd is the worst company and have the worst people I ever had to deal with in my life. This lady Dee was so rude and mean to me when I was going to a horrible situation. I don;t think anyone deserves to go trough what I have to been trough so do yourself a favor and do not deal with this people.

Thumbs up for Nate. I saw him working next door and asked him for some friendly advice. He was not bothered looking into my concern at my new house. Friendliness is the key. Even though I did not do business with this company, Nates’s spontaneous time for me was very wise. If i was a landlord, I would hire him. No doubt.

These people have a lot to learn about professionalism and customer service. They are rude on the phone. They don’t show uo when they are supposed to. They are slack when it comes to the work. When you call them on their b.s., they go online and try to trash your reputation. All I wanted was to get rid of some ants, not become involved with some nutcase. Run away as far and as fast as you can from this company.

4. After fumigation they replace any roof tiles that were broken during the process.
5. When they replace termite damaged wood they paint to the house so it ends up looking like hour it started.

Just an update on the review I did. Still no ants have showed back up after initial treatment… So going strong. Very happy with the service I received.

We/​ve been having a major rat problem in our attic and outside, and they have been extremely professional and have come out every week for a month to check and reset traps for us and close up all holes and possible entry routes etc.
Destiny is a technician for them and she is amazing! Very personable, efficient, and even my dogs love her and they don’t generally like anyone in a uniform! She has been great! Now we always ask for her whenever we order services. I will recommend this company to friends and family especially Destiny!

This place is a joke. I signed up for the $ 89 quarterly package for them to come out automatically and spray for bugs/​spiders and dust for webs. Our backyard is the Navajo Canyon so we always have all kinds of critters. They sent a man out to «get the job done» on May 20^th. They sprayed/​dusted the inside and outside of the home and we not only had to leave the house for 4 hours but we had to find arrangements for our dog as well. We returned home after 4.5 hours to find the same webs all over our porch, in our backyard and throughout our garage. One of the webs was even across our porch with a black widow spider in it. Not sure how they missed that one…
I contacted Jennifer (who set everything up via email) and she said she would send someone out the 27^th. Within this week wait we have also had numerous daddy long legs throughout out the house so not only did they not do their one job outside but it appears they shorted us on the inside as well. Jennifer assured me they were sending out a supervisor this time to do the job. They came yesterday and now today I noticed not only the same webs (complete withe live spiders) in the garage that hadn’t been touched, webs along our steps outside and our railing that extends out to the canyon but the same huge web on our porch that I not only blatantly pointed out but also took a picture of still there. I emailed Jennifer immediately of my findings and asked her to close our account.
I absolutely would not recommend this company and if I could give it 0 stars I would.

Install security cameras inside each room before you let these guys or their partners into your homes.

I have been with Lloyd Pest control for a year now. When I called the first time we were being invaded by ants. I explained that I was concerned about my pet cats and rats and didn’t want anything that might harm them. They were very concerned and helpful and treated me with respect. Here we are a year later and I still have the same service person and we have really built a relationship. I would recommend them highly. We were never treated this well by other companies of this size. Keep up the good work!

Excellent service. Haven’t seen any ants, spiders or crickets outside since starting service 6 months ago. The technician always securely closes and latches the gate and invoice always on the security screen door.

I called them out to help with an unpleasant odor coming from the ceiling. They followed up with me multiple times, bumped up my appointment, and came out the next day. The tech that came out was very friendly and helpful, and managed to keep the house clean even after going under the house in the crawl space. A great experience overall.

Our small sized complex just ended the 11 year long relationship with Lloyd Pest Control. Reasons: 1. overpriced for coming here once a month to sprinkle some chemical just for spiders and ants. 2. staff rarely comes inside the gate to treat the little gardening area. 3. staff also rarely clean up the spider webs around the building.
We gave them a chance to make it right, but no. The service manager called us and wanted to let us know their staff has been doing their job. Umm we saw their staff come and go with our own eyes and we even had a conversation about how they need to come in the gate with the key we gave them. So after we ended the service, they called us to defend their staff (that’s like telling us that we lied). Stay away from this pest control company if your current HOA employs their service. Waste of money.
Read your invoice about what they sprinkle and how much they overcharge. Poor Poor customer service.

I will never ever use this pest control company ever again. The man that showed up to spray my house stunk like he had not showered in days. He had all his paper work out of order and there are stains on the copy he left for me. I have called and left several messages with the manager hoping to get a call back. I have yet to receive any return phone calls. I have made a report with the local BBB. I am beyond disgusted for the way the employee looked and smelled. It was so beyond gross!

We have used Lloyd pest control for almost a year. After battling an ant problem for way to long we finally gave in and started reaseraching pest control. I found Lloyd’s to have good reviews and pricing. During our frst assessment and treatment the service man said we had «grease ants» which are hard to get rid of so her gave us trays to put out and was specific to only treat for these ants for the first few months becuase they were very smart/​senstivie to other chemicals. Needless to say they were gone with in days! He came back in a few weeks to check in and started with our routine ant/​spider/​pest spraying protocol. They come every 3 months, or earlier if I call, and I have to say there has been a remarkable difference. The office is very polite and accommodating and we have had nothing but a positive experience with our technician Alonzo.

We have always been extremely pleased with the service that we receive from Lloyd Pest Control. We just had our house tented for the second time in ten or twelve years, and the tenting was completely covered under our ongoing termite contract with them! Everyone we have met, employed by this company, has been professional, competent, courteous, and very helpful! Thank you, Lloyd Pest Control! I give you five stars!

Done with these jokers. They are one of the more expensive services around and terrible customer service! Do not use… do some homework and find a cheaper more efficient company like I did! To top it off the technicians are so lazy and more excuses as to why they can’t do work. Done with these jokers!

I have been with this company for over 7 years, and boys was I stupid.
Firstly, the technicians do not like to work. I have asked them over and over again to make sure to dust off cobwebs each time they come out. Never did they dust off cobwebs. Constant cobwebs = constant spiders. They seem to never go away. When I call the office to complain they always swear they did all they can. They never make mistakes, lol.
What really broke the camels back for me was when we had their termite inspector out to my home 6 months ago. He inspected for a good 10 – 15 min and concluded we had termite problem, a serious one. He said the only way to get rid of this amount is by tenting. I was very skeptical because a year before, a man from a different company offered to do a free termite inspection to gain our business. He said we had absolutely no termites of any kind. So why just after a year we have swarm of termite that we need an emergency tenting fumigation? He scared me so much I asked him for an estimate to get this done. He said $ 7,000. Of course that’s a little more than I had anticipated so I told him that I would get back to him. From that day on he called nearly every other day pestering me to make my decision. He said he can do it in the next couple of weeks without a problem. I opt to wait.
Today, after 6 months later, it still bothered me to think that I was living under swarms of termites in my attic, so I’d decided to get a second opinion. I called Jake from W Square Termite Management and he came out and spent over an hour inspecting the whole house, in and out. And guess what, we have NO TERMITES! Jake said my attic was one of the cleanest that he has ever seen in a long time.
To think that I could have been schemed by Lloyd pest control gave me chill straight down my back. To think they were willing scheme their loyal, 7 year client is just speechless. I called Lloyds to cancel my service immediately. They asked me why so I explained. They didn’t seem to be surprised or disappointed and said as of today my service is terminated and hung up. Wow, this is what u get for being a loyal customer for all these years…
If anyone from Lloyd tells you u have termites get a second, third, fourth opinion. They are not to be trusted. I believe the inspector from Lloyd was Larry. Shame on you Larry.

I’ve used for termite tenting and regular pest (ant, spiders) control. Unfortunately, each time I’ve used them, I’ve experienced issues with their office.
With the tenting for termites, I was trying to coordinate moving out at the same time. Despite being assured of timing, the tenting team showed up about 3 hours early and started tenting the house while I was still inside with a cleaning crew! They were kind enough to let us keep working but almost sealed the house while we were still in there. The crew seemed annoyed that we were there, even though we had agreed on an afternoon time and they came in the morning.
I also had billing issues and continued to receive a bill despite a clearly marked discount on the contract. I called and emailed multiple times before this was resolved.
Now I’m using them for a tenant-​occupied property and the tenants are satisfied with the service, but I’m having billing issues again. I was sent a bill despite providing my credit card. Was told the credit card was bad, but then a charge went through.
So the service is effective, but be prepared for issues with appointments and billing.
