Business Owner

Karly Nuttall created a midwifery practice in 2008 to provide a very attentive and personalized model of pregnancy care. Karly only takes 2 – 3 clients per month so she can pay close attention to and connect with her moms, providing in depth nutrition and health education and prenatal care that will prepare you for birth. She brings a calm and patient presence to your labor and delivery, arriving early enough to carefully assess safety and the efficiency of labor and take you through the whole process.

Karly and I have been friends for years and previously we were business partners. She is a very skilled and experienced midwife. I’ve worked with Karly in some intense clinical situations and she is COOL UNDER PRESSURE. She’s a natural at what she does. What I like best about Karly is her positive attitude. After all these years I’ve only ever heard kind words from her about everyone. We are lucky to have her in the San Diego Homebirth community. Keep up the good work Karly!
