Dave is the BEST! I’ve been seeing him for massage for over 8 years now and I TRY other’s and I always come back, because he has the skill and touch like no other in town. He is so educated on his field and really tunes into what I need and I always leave feeling amazing! He can be a challenge to book with at times, but it’s worth the wait. I have also taken classes from him in the past as well which were fantastic. I truly count Dave as a mentor in the massage industry and have learned so much from him over the years!

I have been seeing Dave Garza for many years for therapeutic massage. What I love is that his massages are therapeutic but Dave also creates a relaxing environment while putting me at such relaxation the moment his hands touch me. He is so knowledgeable with the body, how it works and what muscles to work on to help your situation (which are not always the muscle that hurts!). Dave takes his work seriously and is always professional. Dave has helped me extensively throughout the healing of a car accident, going through two pregnancies and throughout the normal stress and aches of life. I have been to so many massage therapists and Dave Garza is, hands down, the most skillful therapist I’ve been to. Give him a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I recommend Dave to anyone who requires and appreciates an amazing, skillful, educated and compassionate body worker. I have been going to Dave for a few years now, and through the years I have shown up stressed, and he somehow has the ability to relax and help heal not only my body but my mind as well. He is far above any other therapist that I have ever been to, and he is definitely in the right profession for himself… Go and get a session with him, you won’t regret it!

I am a breast cancer survivor! However, post chemo and radiation I ended up with fibromyalgia-​crazy all over body pain, as well as neuropathy in my lower and upper extremities. I have been to many massage therapists, spas, doctors… you name it, I’ve tried it. Dave, by far, has exceeded my expectations with his knowledge, technique and absolute understanding of the human anatomy. He is more than therapeutics, he is a healer, in my opinion. I have not only benefitted from his treatments, but I have also learned a great deal about the mind, body and soul. I feel connected, empowered and with minimal pain each time I leave his office. Dave has been my massage therapist (as well as my husbands) for over 10 years. He is simply amazing. I see him every other week and consider him to be an essential part of my healthy lifestyle. Without him working out my aches, pains and imbalances before they become chronic, I wouldn’t be able to be as active as I like to be. He is the smartest and most knowledgeable massage therapist I’ve ever been too, and I’ve tried more than a few! I’ve sent family members and friends to Dave, and they have all gotten great results. He is smart, caring and a calming presence. He truly has a gift.

Dave has been my massage therapist for almost 14 years now. He is hands-​down the most knowledgeable, effective massage therapist I have encountered. He is constantly studying, and he teaches classes and/​or seminars to massage therapists and yoga teachers. I have sent several friends and acquaintances to Dave, and literally every one of them has become a client (even two friends who already had therapists they thought were awesome have made Dave their regular therapist). If you are looking for a true therapist to not only help you relax but also really address your pain/​limitation/​injury, I highly recommend you call Dave. In a pinch (when traveling or when Dave was not available), I have gone to other therapists over the years, but none have been as effective as he is. He sessions are usually about 90 – 120 minutes, and his rates are very reasonable. As an aside, I agree with the other reviewer that mentioned he has a great sense of humor, and I would also mention that I always seem to leave a session having learned something new and interesting, whether it be about Chinese medicine, anatomy, world religions, music, etc.

Dave provides the best therapeutic, deep tissue massage in San Diego county. I’ve been coming to him for over 11 years, and taken massage classes he has taught as well. He has a deep knowledge of anatomy, deep tissue techniques and Chinese medicine that give him the ideal mix for a massage therapist. He also specializes in pre-​natal massage, and has a great sense of humor to boot. But don’t book him out solid, I still fly thousands of miles to book with him and you have to leave some slots open for me.
