We love Dr. Jacobson. Or as she is known to our family, «Dr. Genny.» My better half is an OB/​GYN and knows a multitude of pediatricians that practice nearby. She insisted on Dr. Jacobson.
People expect different things from their children’s pediatrician, what I appreciate about Dr. Jacobson (and the rest of the staff) is they are very straight forward, practical and seem to genuinely care about their patients. I’m not sure if it’s related to her ethnicity (Dr. Jacobson is Russian), but she’s very pragmatic, doesn’t make a big fuss about things. She is very experienced (she’s been a physician for over 30 years), so she’s «seen it all».
I trust her with my kids.
