Established in 2010.

Honest Code is one guy: Robert Palmer. Since 1997, Robert has designed and built websites from the ground up for large and small customers all over the country. After a decade working in-​house and at agencies in southern California, Robert started his own company, under his own name. In 2010, he finally got around to filing the paperwork, and Honest Code was born.

After a decade of in-​house and agency work for the creators of newspapers, magazines, television, hardware, software, sporting equipment, and tract housing, he started his own web development and graphic design company. He has hand-​crafted websites, WordPress themes, iOS applications, identities, and technical illustrations for startups and Fortune 50 companies alike. He will marry his amazing fiancée Michelle this year, and works from home with her two cats, who are only occasionally helpful.

I just completed a web design project with Robert Palmer at Honest Code, and I couldn’t be happier. Robert was very professional, extremely knowledgable, and worked way beyond my expectations. The project was very near and dear to my heart, as it was my new life coaching company website, so I wanted it to be as perfect as it could be. If you need help with a Wordpress website, hire Robert Palmer at Honest Code. No doubt about it. Not only does he know what he’s doing, and he’s extremely good at it, but he’s also fun to work with, funny, and a wizard as far as problem-​solving goes. I was quite frankly amazed at his speed-​of-​light response times with any questions I had. His project management skills are superb and this level of professionalism is few and far between in any industry. Did I mention that he’s also just a nice dude?
I happened upon Robert because the marketing and graphic design firm I hired recommended Honest Code for creating my custom Wordpress theme and creating my new website. I got lucky.
