With a background in graphic design, Jennie Edwards started Guided By Imagination Photography to focus on creating experiences. Those memories that you’ll relive each time you look at the photos from your special day. Jenny Edwards, now there is a fun person even when she’s working for you and doing her best to make you look your best. I swear Jenny could get a charging rhino to laugh. That’s not to belittle her professional photography skills. Whether it’s a wedding a birthday party or any special event don’t depend on your iPhones to capture the moment perfectly. I’ve used Jennie’s services now for over 5 years, and love it! She’s done our yearly family photos and holiday cards for the last 4 years. Not only does she find a way to make it a fun photo event for all of us (including 5 kids and a dog), but she helps to bring out our individual personalities. Hollywood celebrities would look better if Jennie Edwards was their photographer!
Jennie can make you look better and thinner than you are and you can tell she loves what she does and goes above and beyond to do her best at it. She is very hands on and honestly I consider Jennie a friend so I wanted her to not just work at my wedding but I think that Jennie likes her job so much that even if you tell her to stop taking pictures and just have fun she still takes the pictures because that is fun for her.
I recommend Jennie not just for weddings but she also loves doing lots of other fun shoots so that you have memories with your family, children, pets, and engagement parties, you will have a lot of fun on her unique photo shoots (unique photo adventures) and her work is out of this world.

Living in the age of Facebook where anyone with a Best Buy camera becomes a photographer, I had a hard time excepting that I should pay somebody else to do the same job just because we were engaged. I am SO glad we did! Not only were the pictures phenomenal, we had so much fun during our shoot. We walked all around Balboa Park taking different shots as we had our little adventure. Even Jack, our dog, got in on the fun while she snapped some pictures of us running around with him. It was more of an experience than anything close to a traditional photo shoot. I was far from excited at the idea of posing for an hour turning our heads slightly left or right to get a good angle. With Jennie, we simply ran around and played like two teenagers in love.
The photos captured the same tender playfulness we felt in those moments. We were absolutely thrilled with how they turned out. I admit, I am pretty picky about how I look in pictures. Not only were the pictures fun and unique, but I actually liked how we looked in them. We used some of the shots for our save the dates and Rehearsal dinner invitations. We also just ordered some large prints to display at our wedding reception in addition to various others that are now framed around our house.
Needless to say, Jennie will be shooting our wedding as well. Planning a wedding is a stressful process especially for someone as particular as I am. It’s so nice to be able to have full confidence that our photographer will take the perfect shots. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH!!!

Ladies if you want some special Boudoir photos done for your man, you must try her. We recently hired her for a girls getaway and it was so much fun! It’s the perfect, fun, creative, ladies treat. I’ve been friends with Jennie for several years so there was no doubt that she would be our wedding photographer this last fall. I knew the pictures would turn out to be great but I had no clue that I would love them as much as I did. She was able to take pictures throughout the whole day that looked great and natural.
