You cannot go wrong if you are looking downtown for a quick, reliable and reasonably priced solution for your PC problems.
Though my problem was not a major one and just required an older laptop to be serviced, cleaned up and updated, the convenience of the location in the Gaslamp area was great, the speed of the unit being returned to me in 5 hours and the professionalism of Matt as far as connecting with me and ensuring that I understood what was done and the quick tutorials he gave as to how to keep my machine working at its’ best in the future made a visit to GASLAMP COMPUTERS and MATT definitely definitely worth my while.
I highly recommend that you give them a try.

I took my Toshiba Laptop into Matt @ Gaslamp Computers, and let me tell you, he is the MAN! He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and has some of the best rates in town. On top of the superb service (he got my computer back to me the same day!), he was able to solve the Hibernation Enigma! ;)

Very professional, fast, detailed, fair priced.
My old laptop was dying for unknown to me reason. I thought the hard drive was dying and didn’t really hope for recovery, but decided to give it a chance. I took it to GaslampComputers and Matt did a miracle!!! He detected the problem, gave me few options, was really considerate and helpful and brought my laptop back to life! He did a great job, cleaned my absolutely corrupted OS, cleaned my fans, fixed my display problems (a had rough pixel spots after I dropped it on a hard wood floor), stuffed my lap top with tons of wonderful programs, anti-​viruses, gave me a free 1.5 hour lecture on how to prevent any future problems, explained every single detail I asked about and was really patient and clear in his explanations.
My lap top works MUCH better now: clean, fast, stuffed with useful progs, and doesnt get overheated at all, which I thought was the effect of age, but now even if i leave it on a soft surface it doesnt get hot at all.
And after all that was fixed, Matt offered to reinstall Windows and do all the settings again, if I get the repair CD from Toshiba (which was hard do now, as my lap top was bought in Russia and I can only get it there) at NO EXTRA CHARGE.
For all I had done, I payed $ 100.
