History

Established in 2010.

The name Fishbone Computing comes from a quality management tool, the Ishikawa or Fishbone diagram. The fishbone diagram is used to help map out cause and effects of issues in order to drill down to the root cause; the root cause is often overlooked in computer support services. Recently a business owner, who was not yet a customer, remarked that he constantly had to «re-fix» computer issues. «Re-fixing» costs companies money. Fishbone Computing is built on a proactive style that looks to resolve root causes, find sustainable solutions and reduce costs.

Meet the Business Owner

Cory J.

Business Owner

After living most of his life in Michigan, the Navy brought Cory to San Diego in 2002. The Navy taught Cory many things including responsibility, loyalty and the value of hard work. Although Cory proudly served in the Navy, he wanted to be able to be with his family more; so just a few months prior to the birth of his second daughter he decided on a career change. There was no question he wanted his new career to involve computers, but he still wanted to serve our country in some capacity, for this reason Cory enlisted in the Navy Reserves. While working a full time job, Cory attended ITT Technical Institute where he graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Computer Science. Wanting to continue to further his education, but still have time for his family, Cory went on to take online courses through Western Governor’s University and will be receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Network Design & Management very soon.
