Evans Tire & Service Center

The service here was phenomenal. We had a flat tire with a rental car while on vacation. The rental did not have a spare tire and the rental company was not helpful. These guys fixed our flat quickly and efficiently. I can not say enough good things about this place. No one wants to be inconvenienced with a flat tire on vacation, but if you are this is the place to get it fixed.

We sort of found these guys by accident — they were the closest shop to us after we got in a scuffle with a pole that wrecked the whole wheel back in April.
They were incredibly helpful, polite, and professional. They did great work on the car and very fast. Helped us out with the credit offer and offered some work at a good price. They will definitely try to sell you, but that’s what you expect at an auto shop. They aren’t rude when you say no. The manager, Gil, updated me throughout the whole process and even showed us the destroyed part without us asking, which impressed me and even my super skeptical husband (been burned before) — fully transparent, amazing customer service, and incredible work. An experience that could be very stressful became a minor bother at worst. I couldn’t ask for better.

I came in on a Friday morning, and they were already filled with cars. One of my tires had a slow leak, so they said they’d take a look. I waited in the office for about 20 minutes, and they came in and said I’m good to go! They found a small pin in my tire and patched it up for me, and it was FREE! This was my first time here too. These guys were so nice. I’d definitely recommend them!

Beyond thrilled with my service! Gil was an absolute sweetheart, sharing stories and life lessons that brought tears to my eyes. He easily saved me $ 500 with his genuine expertise and advice. I WILL NOT go anywhere else! I fully trust and appreciate the service that is provided here. It is honest and affordable. Would give them ten stars if I could.

Fast and efficient! I got a nail in my tire while on vacation in San Diego. The tire went flat to the rim. After replacing the tire with the spare, we drove to Evans Tire Center. They immediately took the tire to check it out, removed the nail, put a plug in the tire, and put it back on the car. I was there no more than 15 minutes. The pest part… no charge!!! I explained that I didn’t purchase the tire from them and that was okay. They always plug tires for free. That would not happen where I am from. A big thumbs up for the quality service they provided.

I would like to give the upmost praise to GIL and his team at Evans Tire and Service Center. Gil’s team took my car in at 8am today and had fixed a number of issues with my jeep and had it ready within 2 ½ hours, out the door… it was incredible as was the price, I mean I could not have asked for a better deal. They are such hard and efficient workers and I HIGHLY recommend Gil’s shop to everyone who is looking for an honest and respectful team of mechanics. Thank you so very much guys… and I guarantee that you have a customer for life:)

Dropped a large tire off there recently that was taking up a lot of space in my garage. The guys were really good about taking it disposing of it for me. Seemed like a great bunch, would not hesitate about taking my car there in the future. Thanks again guys.

Here at Evans Tire and i cannot express the gratitude and satisfaction they have given me. Not to mention they did my tires, alignment, and oil change within a couple of hours. I will always come back!

Evans Tires and Service Center is, hands-​down, the BEST garage I’ve ever been to. I bring my Honda Civic here, anytime it needs servicing, no matter what the issue may be. Evans always takes care of me even though I usually don’t have an appointment (something many other garages have turned me away for).
Gil is top-​notch and his crew treats me like I’m family. I can leave my car there for the day and not worry about anything. A few months ago I had to replace all of my tires due to the age of the car and Evan’s gave me the best deal in the area.
Very glad I found this place and will be a customer forever. I highly recommend Evan’s tires and Service Center if you’re looking for a place to take your vehicle.

I have done business for several years with Gil the manager and his crew at the Sports Arena Store. He recently was transferred to this store and of course I followed him. To many companies in this day and age think the loyalty is to the business. My loyalty is to the employees. Gil is a true professional. My philosophy is simple, you take care of me and I will take care of you. Nobody likes to part with their hard earned money but Gil and his staff prove to me that if I need to part with my hard earned money I am glad that I am doing it with him and his staff.

When it comes to customer service, punctuality and attentiveness no one treats you better than Peter Gil and Chris. Don’t know what i would do without u guys helping me out today!

I showed up to Evans tires 8 mins before they closed expecting to be turned away for a patch. I took a chance because at the very least I would get air in my tire. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door and was told I could be seen as soon as the previous car was complete. The restroom was clean and lobby was well maintained. I was in and out in less than 30 mins. I will definitely return to this Evans for future service.

These guys are awesome! Go see Eddie and his crew. They had me in and out super quick, which was excellent because it was a work day and I’m in sales. If you’re in the market for tires, give them a chance to earn your business. They deserve it!

I was in San Diego on business and got a flat tire. The staff was so nice and professional and got it fixed very quickly and the didn’t charge me a dime. Great business

I don’t have experience with their tires, but I don’t think I would go back based on how getting a simple oil change went. I paid for the «best» oil change, which includes a top off of «most fluids.» Service took about an hour. This was my first time at Evan’s, so I was skeptical, and went home and popped my trunk. I saw a couple of my fluids at pretty low levels.
I went back and asked why my coolant was barely at the minimum line and they said it was because it’s cold, so fluid levels will look lower. It’s San Diego, and was 65 degrees. I asked if they could fill it. Then a mech told me they probably didn’t have the right coolant, because that would be way too many fluids to carry. So I asked what topping off «most» fluids usually includes– apparently at Evans, just wiper fluid and coolant. After they checked, it turned out they did have the coolant and topped it off. Also, they misreported my milage on my paperwork, and put a sticker to come back for another oil change in less than 5k, which is not necessary for synthetic oil changes.
While I’m glad they righted the mistake, it’s a waste of my time to go to a mechanic who is reluctant to do something as simple as top off a fluid, and is quick to make excuses for why something isn’t done. I want to be confident that a mechanic can provide full service and not send me out the door 50% work.

I went in with a nail in two tires. They told me that one couldn’t be repaired because it was on the side. Further, since I needed to replace that one tire, i had to replace all of them because there would be a balance issue if i didn’t. Quote was $ 630 for the fix. Went to another shop and they fix both tires for $ 30. Glad I got that second opinion.

Really helpful and extremely polite. I constantly have a problem with low pressure in my tires and fear of nail holes because I live near construction. These guys are Johnny on the spot there whenever I roll in, check all four tires and send me on my way free of charge. It’s always a pleasant experience.
I popped my tire once and had them order me a new tire and set it up. It was costly but they did a great job. Worth the few extra bucks.
