Essential Balance & Healing

I had my first Chakra Balancing with Terryellan, the Chakra Balancing included much more than advertised, along with Chakra Balance she played her sound bowls which caused a vibration throughout my body and put me in a relax state for balancing. Terryellan is a wealth of knowledge and very enjoyable to spend time with. My appointment was for Chakra balancing only but I would recommend including massage because as you lie there in a relaxed mode, your body craves touch (my experience). My next visit will include the massage.

First time experience. Very relaxing and surprised how it took me to a different level. I felt a real calm and peacefulness after the session. Terry answered my numerous questions and took the time to explain things to me. She certainly has a beautiful gift.

Terry is amazing, she has beautiful energy and a loving vibration! During the Chakra/​Reiki session I had with her I entered a deep, meditative state that helped me begin to unhinge some of the baggage I have been carry around. My session with Terry was very spiritual, soul nourishing, and the sound healing/​energy work truly aids in entering a meditative state. I’ll be seeing Terry again this week. ;-)

I had the most wonderful and relaxing 90 minute session with a true healer. TerryEllen at Essential Balance provides top notch service, excellent communication and perfect massage pressure. I felt so relaxed and balanced after my session. The combination of sound healing, Reiki and massage is genuinely a unique experience. I can’t wait for my next session!

I can not say enough good stuff about this place of healing! Anyone can do Reiki and massage however not everyone has the healing touch like Terry Ellen. She is so amazing at her job. Every time I visit her i leave a whole new person. I feel like she has completely made her space one of healing an love. The parking here is so easy, full lot and it free. Terryellen is such a talented massage therapist and energy healer. I recently had a session with her and she customized it to included, massage, sound therapy and Reiki. She listened to my needs and created such a warm, relaxing space. She addressed my problem areas and the results were amazing. I’m normally a high stress person, always busy and never stopping. After this session, I felt so refreshed and relaxed, and I could literally feel the tension subside in my body. She is one of a kind. I never write reviews on Unilocal,but her work is just too awesome not to share.

AMAZING! Terry was so nice and welcoming. I could sit there and talk with her for hours! She was so helpful and open to answer my questions. She was open to geering the appointment to my needs.

Terry’s treatments. Ahhh. Amaazing! Having worked in the healing arts for 9 years now I have had my fair share of body work experiences. What keeps me going back to Terry is the space she creates and her magic hands.
I am in love with sound healing and energy work. The orchestration that Terry plays with fills my body with waves of vibration. I can feel her singing bowls, chimes, gong, tuning fork, and bells lighting up different areas of my body and as Terry would say «breaking up energetic knots».
Then the reiki session. You can feel the heat moving out of Terry’s hands which is so nurturing especially around the head. Terry finishes the session with a quick detail oriented massage to round out the entire experience.
My feeling at the end of the session is that I really don’t ever want to get off her table haha. It’s pure bliss and even vibration all over my body.
Another thing I love about Terry is that she is always expanding her knowledge and wanting to practice her new skills. I like to ask her what workshop she has attended recently and she if she wants to change up the treatment a little and give me a taste of her new healing modalities. I have never been disappointed!

Terryellen has a special gift when it comes to massage and energy work. She’s very thorough and tailors every session to your current need. I never thought of having energy work done, because honestly I’d never heard of it. Now, I love it. I leave feeling relaxed and balanced. The combination of energy work and massage are simply amazing!

What a sweetheart Terry is! Her room is gorgeous and she goes out of her way to ensure your comfort. Her sound therapy is an ethereal experience. She can FEEL and balance your chakras! Terry also gave me Reiki healing and massage. Honestly, it was very difficult to want to get up or move by the time she was finished with me. I can’t remember feeling so relaxed. Something else that I love about Terry is her enthusiasm to continue to learn additional healing modalities so that she is able to give her clients whatever it is they need to heal. Terry is an earth angel!

my experience with Terry-​Ellen was wonderful! The energy in the room felt so peaceful. She worked with sound and hands on healing. It took me to such a beautiful relaxed place! Her massage was wonderful also. She checked in with me to make sure the pressure was just right for me. I left there feeling absolutely like I was walking on a cloud and had the best night sleep afterward! I am going back and will recommend her services to anyone!

I decided to spoil myself and get the 90 minute Reiki/​sound healing/​massage combo… Terryellen has a gift, indeed! She has made the environment you walk into such a relaxing, comforting place. My experience with Terry was amazing! Her massage was awesome and she has the perfect environment set up to do it. Before we began with the massage she did sound healing and the mix of reiki really made the experience. For new comers she offers a GREAT 1.5 hr massage and includes sound healing, reiki energy healing, chakra balancing, swedish massage, deep tissue massage and various other techniques at an awesome price! Terry is very responsive, professional, and well practiced at what she does with her work. I have seen her twice and have been very thankful I did. From energy work, to sound work, to body work she gets to the heart of the matter and works out the kinks and is extremely intuitive to her clients needs. I have worked with Reiki and energy healing for over 16 years and having Terry available is a blessing!

Best Massage & Reiki ever. I had the customized session of Reiki, Massage & sound therepy. Today was my second visit and I was so relaxed, Terry has amazing hands and cares so much about making sure you are relaxed & comfortable. I am from Ireland where Reiki practice is more popular, I have not found anyone here in SD that I would go back to only Terry. I was so impressed I have made my next appointment already.

Terry’s system of healing/​restoration is exactly what I have been looking for. I tried her combination of sound healing /​massage /​reiki introductory offer as a combo package and it was nothing short of phenomenal. As a reiki practitioner and holistic health consultant of 17 years myself, I can give two thumbs up and 6 stars if I could — Terry is naturally gifted at all of this and has a beautiful intuitive ability to integrate these 3 modes of complimentary healing seamlessly together. For those who have had massage before but never sound healing or reiki, I recommend you try them all — so powerful and rejuvinating. I also found Terry to be really easy to communicate and work with — which is important as a component of getting what you need out of a session. She’s very professional and has a real authentic desire to help the client.

The massage and Reiki was amazing. I also tried the stretching before the massage and that too was amazing. Terry is able to get the kinks out and really pushes on those balls of muscle that need to move. I am very impressed that she is not a big person but has very strong hands to work on deep tissue. Highly recommended! Try the Reiki, massage and the stretching for 90 minutes! Awesome!!!
