I had my wedding at the Hyatt this last weekend and my wedding party and family stayed at the hotel. Einstein’s was the only option outside of room service for breakfast so I ran over at 6am and picked up a baker’s dozen bagels and 2 cream cheeses and a carry out bin of coffee which feeds about 12 people. It cost me $ 50 to feed 12 people for breakfast which is pretty cheap considering it is at the hotel. However, if this was any other bagel place, that would be an outrageous price! Also, if I had chosen room service, it probably would have been a lot more expensive! It is a short walk form the tower rooms because it’s down the pier but the walk/view is beautiful.

Stopped in to get a quickie breakfast bagel and such. Come to find out their location was along the boardwalk, short distance from the tower at the Hyatt. The bagel shop is of decent size with good seating inside and out. The outside seating looks cool considering it sits along the marina and kayaks. I ordered everything bagel with cream cheese, sausage and egg on an everything bagel and a spinach and mushroom wrap on whole wheat tortilla. The bagels were okay. They were a bit tough and thick. The wrap was good, except the mushroom being that it’s naturally watery once warmed, leaked from the bottom of the wrap with every bite. Despite all that, the staff are friendly, shop is clean and inviting.

Bagel was good yet overpriced. Soaked in butter… coffee was blah… for that price you can visit Starbucks.

Cleanliness is not at the top of this location’s list. Instead of writing about it, I’ll let my two photos I uploaded explain for me.

So frustrated with this Einsteins. First of all the lines are RIDICULOUS! But today it’s a Sunday in December and we walked in and there was no line! But at 11:50 we were informed they were done serving food. I couldn’t believe it because they were open until 1:00 but all the bagels and food were put away and the employees were obviously trying clean up and go home. It is really bad practice to be open until 1:00, to be advertising all your lunch sandwiches and to be Einstein BAGELS but to not be serving BAGELS during business hours.

Wow, where do I start… The first morning, the girl at the counter double charged us for avocado(which was hard/not ripe). The coffee tasted funny and we made it out the door with 2 coffees + 2 bagel sandwiches for $ 20+. On the second morning, same girl got my order wrong, and the coffee was watered down again. We love Einstein bros, this bootleg hyatt version was a pathetic representation of the real thing. We should’ve opted for room coffee and breakfast from one of the many cool breakfast places nearby. Boo.

ok brewed coffee(if you choose the dark roast) and good jalapeño bagels. Long lines on weekdays and even longer on weekends. Not enough staff, or Seating, and seating not so good. there is one table inside, and several outside but if its a cold blustery morning like it was when we were visiting its not such a great place to sit and have coffee. Better to take it back to your room. You might call down and order before you get there and they allow you to charge your coffee order to your room number at the Hyatt.

Must have gone on an «off» day? Line was like Disneyland — two employees, two managers. Took 20 minutes to get to the front of the line. Staff was nice. Maybe they could be more efficient!!! Took another 10 minutes to get food. Overall, bagel with eggs & sausage was meh. Coffee was better than other review implied. Decided to get room service next morning — fasted and better! Way to go Hyatt.

So overpriced for such bland coffee! I ordered a triple espresso and it tasted more like regular coffee. Prices are steeper because it’s in the resort, I assume. My sister didn’t enjoy her drink, either. such a shame because we were so excited to find it on our hotel map. Service was pretty good, though. I did feel a tiny bit rushed but the barista did genuinely try to ask how our day was and make conversation.
