Ecoclean Services

We used this service yesterday and it left quite a bit to be desired.
Pros:
–Carrie was extremely friendly and professional with both my husband and I in setting up the service. My husband went back and forth with her several times to determine an estimate and arrange a date for cleaning. I spoke with her to discuss arrival times of the cleaners, how long they would take, and what to expect. I felt that she thoroughly answered my questions.
–Our floors and stairs had all been vacuumed.
Cons:
–The cleaners were supposed to arrive at 12, but due to car trouble, were delayed. I will say that I’m 40+ weeks pregnant, so leaving my house for a few hours and then having a delay wasn’t the most convenient. Either way, these things happen and whatever. I ended up leaving a key under the mat at 1pm and Carrie stated that the first time cleaning could take 4 hours or so, if there’s a lot to dust and clean and that she would notify my husband or I when the crew was finished.
–After not receiving any notification, my husband and I decided to go home at 5:20pm. At this point, my house was empty, but I was a bit frustrated we hadn’t been notified. Looking through the house, it looked like a job I would have done myself… In high school when my folks told me I had to clean for guests or something like that. It was just half-​assed. Our shelves were not dusted and our mirrors/​glass were cleaner than they were before I left, but there were still smears and water spots. Being that Carrie had specifically mentioned dusting, this was something I was looking at and it was clear that nothing had been dusted. Our kitchen table had a water ring on it and finger prints. Our microwave had a smear across the front and our fridge doors/​handles hadn’t even been touched.
–One of the biggest issues was that there were quite a few drops of water in the kitchen and our entry way. Again, I’m a million months pregnant (cough, I can’t see my feet and my balance blows) and we have a 2 year old to worry about. I can’t say I appreciated that we were left with water on the floor to wipe up.
–The estimate we received was for $ 135, which is steep, though we were willing to pay this assuming it would be a great cleaning. Our previous housecleaner charged $ 80 (they started working full time and aren’t available anymore) so this was a huge increase. We ended up being charged $ 150 and didn’t receive any follow up which left an unfavorable impression being that the cleaners were late and the job completed was unsatisfactory.
Overall:
Based off of all of the other reviews being so positive, I’m left to assume that our poor service is likely related to the individual that was assigned to us. I really wish this service had worked out for us.

This has got to be one of my favorite family business. They do such a great job. They’re so professional & you just couldn’t find friendlier people anywhere. I have used their cleaning services for many years now & every time was 100% satisfied. They’ll get your carpets & rugs looking brand new. This is a company you can count on.

I called a few places for quotes before deciding to use Eco Clean. They had the lowest per foot price (range) but they have a different method of calculating the linear feet.E.g. Other quotes use the inner measurement of a sectional but they use the outer as well as the width. So when they came to my house and gave me a firm number, they were more like #3.
I didn’t pick them for the price but for their high Unilocal rating so it was not worth the hassle of sending them away and rescheduling with someone else.
There were stains that he could not removed but can’t tell if it is just a stubborn stain or they are not that good
My biggest grip is that they only clean the seats and front of the sofa and left dirty water on the back of the sofa. See pictures.
I am disappointed that they were so vague in their quote, couldn’t remove all stains and then to find the mess they made on white couch. They truly deserve this 1 star review.

Mark came to my house today and did a very professional and quick job cleaning my very soiled carpets (downstairs and up) and couch cushions– about 7 large ones. He arrived on time and took about 1 hour 30 minutes for everything– very reasonably priced as well.
He was very friendly, my carpets look brand new.
He says they will only take about 5 hours to dry :)
Definitely will use their services again :)

Used their services through a Groupon Deal a year ago and was extremely satisfied. Very quick service and the carpet dried by morning with the help of turning on our heater. Am definitely calling again now that I have pets.

Had a really good experience with this company. The guy that came out, I think his name was Marc was very professional and works very clean. He came with shoe covers ready to work at the door. He was upbeat and had a very positive and likable attitude about him. He works fast and efficient, got everything cleaned really well and charged the minimum for it. I really recommend this company, they are on time, professional, gets the job done without any fuss. Thanks for your help Ecoclean! =)

Ecoclean makes me so happy. It is amazing how filthy our house can get with just 2 people and a dog. I blame the dog. We decided that it was time for the luxury of a cleaning person once a month.
Working with Carrie to schedule and set up the cleanings was super easy and she was sweet and helpful. Irene comes once a month and removes all of our sludge. They keep our key and our credit card on file, so it could not possibly be an easier process — we leave a filthy home in the morning and come home in the evening to sparkle.
As a very nice touch, if you leave clean sheets on the bed, they will change your sheets and make your bed for you.
Hiring Ecoclean for the monthly cleaning was one of the best decisions we have made all year. I only wish we could afford weekly!

To start off I purchased the groupon for Ecoclean Services: 5 rooms for $ 60.
Initially my first contact with the company was through Carrie. She is the president of the company and was more than friendly. Even with the overload of all the customers calling to book their groupon appointments, she was very quick to return phone calls and always very friendly and helpful in booking appointments. I was very pleased when I was able to book an immediate appointment that worked well with my schedule.
When Marc (the Vice President) showed up to clean my apartment, he was friendly as well. He even called me to let me know he was on his way and showed up within the one hour window of time Carrie had given me.
Not only does Ecoclean have good customer service, but I was very happy with the job they did. Right away three people commented on my freshly cleaned carpets. While my carpets are a dark red (probably from 20 years ago) and will never look immaculate, I was very pleased and felt like they looked much much cleaner! After 8 hours of drying time, during the winter months, they seemed like they needed just a few more hours to go.
Overall I was very pleased. I’d definitely recommend Ecoclean!

Marc arrived on the exact minute he was due, did a good job of pre-​treating, power scrubbing and then steam cleaning. Every dirty spot came out and the carpet looks new. He left me some booties to walk with until the carpet dried. I am very happy with the result. I did have to pay an extra $ 5.00 as I was not in their home-​base area of Point Loma/O.B. but they did a very nice job and I recommend their services.

Well I just got my carpets done by these guys, and let me tell you! Since we’ve lived at this residence we’ve had our carpets done twice by another company (with horrible results)…I guess 3^rd time is a charm because our carpets were actually gleaming clean! (my rug is actually glowing) The job was done impressively fast and the person that came out was really nice! I will be calling these guys again!

I’ve had three move-​out deep cleanings and two move-​in deep cleanings by Ecoclean (including carpets and upholstery) over the past 5 years. I’ve never used them on a regular basis only because it’s not in my budget to do so. I actually discovered them because a company I used to work for years ago used them as their commercial cleaners, and they were hands-​down the best commercial cleaners I’ve ever come across, so I knew they would be good for residential. Most commercial cleaners hardly do a thing and charge you ridiculous rates, but these guys were just so thorough, and reasonably priced, so it was wonderful.
Anyhoo…as far as my personal experience with them, I never had a single complaint, everything was scrubbed til it was shining, and I received my security deposit back on all three of my rentals that they cleaned for me! The girls were always really nice and professional, and Marc (the main carpet/​window cleaner guy) is really cool and works fast and efficient. I know that if you have regular service, it is more thorough than your average cleaners, like for example, they do baseboards. Their products are great, and the owners are very knowledgeable about environmentally-​friendly lifestyles, so they’re always researching new and better products to use.
I highly recommend them — not just if you care about using eco-​friendly products in your home, but if you care that you’ll have a cleaner in your home that you can trust and that has good social skills (i.e., can understand special requests, can look you in your eye and speak clearly), and doesn’t cut corners doing her job!

I had a wonderful experience with Eco Clean Carpet cleaners and would recommend them to anyone who needs their carpets cleaned. Not only were they professional and courteous they did an outstanding job on my 100% wool carpet that dried in less than three hours.
