Silver Olas Carpet Tile Flood Cleaning

I have a carpet that is old, but in relatively good condition, and I’m trying to get one more year out of it. I have 2 big dogs and 2 kids, so it gets pretty dirty. I have rented cleaners before and tried to do it myself, to no avail. Silver Olas came out and gave me a quote, and cleaned it on the spot. The young man was very nice, and took a lot of time getting all the dirt out. It looks really great. I may even be able to live with it for a few extra years until the kids are off to college! I would recommend Silver Olas for carpet cleaning. Very professional, used plastic corner guards to protect the walls (first time I have seen that), and took the time to really do a great job.

I have had my carpets cleaned before, but never as good as Silver Olas. Oh my goodness!!! My carpet is old, but they put new life back into my carpet. Matt did a GREAT job and was very professional and kind. My carpet did not smell like harsh chemicals, but fresh and clean. I would highly recommend Silver Olas for any of your cleaning needs: tile, upholstery and carpets. Job well done!!!

Jimmy is very knowledgable and efficient at «everything floor.» He cleaned our carpets so they looked cleaner than they had looked in a long while. That is huge… living near the beach and with five kids!
I think the Scotch Guard cost is a too high for what it entails but for sure he knows how to clean and even repaired a loose corner on a stair. Great job and quick too!

I’ve used Silver Olas for years to clean my carpets. I have a dog and a cat and the pet stains are always removed after cleaning and the stains do not resurface. I would highly recommend Silver Olas.

My husband and I recently bought a house with beautiful travertine floors. I had been worried for a while that they were not sealed and wanted to make sure we got someone who could come in and tell us what needed to be done about it. Jimmy gave us a great estimate over the phone (which did not waver the day of) and was available to come that week. He arrived on-​time and quickly and efficiently got to work cleaning and then sealing our floors. They look great! And now I’m not worried that we’re destroying them. He provided some good tips on how to take care of our floors in the future. I will be sure to use him again for cleaning and sealing as we continue to grow into our house.

WOW! Matt from Silver Olas came to our place. Awesome, very humble guy! As Matt came in to write us an estimate, my husband and I asked him how much tip do folks usually leave? A little bit of a tacky question, but we were curious. He said sometimes nothing, sometimes $ 5. I was floored! This kid was excellent. We left our apartment in his hands and came back to immaculate clean, dry, no scent carpet. I called them in the morning and received same day service that day. We had a party the night before and the carpet wasn’t pretty! Matt came in and simply asked what was on the carpet. We told him and he didn’t look at us like we were pigs. That was nice also. I am usually pretty critical on my past reviews, but happy I don’t need to be on this business. Matt explained to us the meaning behind the name of the business and seemed to really have a vested interest in the company doing well. Silver Olas, keep Matt around he does an excellent job. And folks, give the kid a nice tip. It’s disgusting if you think $ 5 is ok.

My travertine floors never looked so good. After much research and several companies coming out to quote and do a sample cleaning of my travertine, I came upon Silver Olas. After cleaning, polishing and sealing my travertine, I am amazed and my floors look better than when they were first laid.
My husband was very particular about getting some shine on our floors and after all the negative information I received from shiny sealer, I chose to go with the full polishing. My floors look so good, it is nearly unbelievable. The grout is very clean and it makes the whole house, in general, look cleaner. The crew were very nice and hard working. This is especially impressive as the owner was away on vacation.
I am thankful that I have found a floor cleaner I can trust and recommend them to anyone. They cleaned and polished nearly 2000 sq ft of travertine.

Jimmy called me and apologized for the carpet repair slipping through the cracks. Wanting a chance to make things right, he came over and expertly put new padding down and retacked the carpet. I am now a very happy camper!

We had a terrible flood in our house with damage to laundry room, pantry, kitchen, dining area, long wooden hall with steps, and 2 bedrooms. Jimmy Olas took charge, brought in a team and got the water out as fast as anyone could. There was still a lot of damage. We had to replace the wood floors and he helped us expert advice. His crew emptied my pantry and other wet closets and cupboards, got everything dried and put back. He took care of getting us mold clearance and also dealt with our insurance company. He has these huge fast drying fans which really saved the day.
Everyone at the company is so friendly and accommodating. He restored my home and saved my sanity.

If your like me and you are on this website looking for a damage repair company, I am going to say I am sorry for the predicament that you have found yourself it, however, rest assured that your problems are about to be resolved in a timely and professional manner. 2 weeks ago I came home from church to find water coming thru the ceiling into my kitchen. I am a renter and after contacting my landlord who came over with his brother in law «the Plumber» to fix the wax seal on my toilet that wasn’t sealing and caused the issue, I was left with wet ceilings and carpets. I was concerned about mold growth as I have severe allergies but was re assured that everything would just dry. Now anyone can come to the conclusion that things were not just going to air dry with the ceiling fan on and a few open windows.
Fast forward two days later and my room smells like I am living inside of a child’s diaper, I immediately like you began the frantic search of someone who could come out fast and help me thru this horrific situation. I left Jimmy a message at 1130pm and woke up to a friendly email and text message. He was able to come to my home between jobs going from Del Mar to Oceanside and back again. (I think he could hear the panic in my voice) Jimmy was professional and walked me thru every step. As you can imagine my ceilings were still 99.9% wet as were my carpets. My landlords were not cooperating and Jimmy went out of his way to explain to them the long term damage this could have on he home and he health of my family, as mold had already started to grow. He was able to go thru the landlords home owners insurance and went to work that night! He explained EXACTLY what was going on and how it would effect our living situation. He was fast, reliant, and stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process. If he was going to stop by to check on the equipment and progress I received a call and text as a heads up. A great thing to have when your working around the schedule of a 2 year old. Basically, I would recommend this business to anyone and everyone. After calling 3 other companies for quotes, Silver Olas was the most affordable (we were prepared to pay out of our own pocket, and rent deduct) and fast company I spoke with. I dealt with an experienced owner of a company, unlike the other companies where I received call centers and receptionist not interested in my specific situation. So to the reader of this I have been in your shoes, I understand your frustration, but find comfort and peace in knowing that Silver Olas and Jimmy will take care of your needs and leave you a satisfied customer. We just had the best service we have had in quite some time. Had our master bath deep cleaned and re-​calked. and, had all sinks re-​calked too. Everything looks super neat and oh so clean, Jimmy was the best in giving a quote over the phone and arriving the same week to do the job. He is so nice and professional. I WILL call again and recommend to others.

Just had my carpet cleaned by Matt. I’ve used Silver Olas for more than 8 years and have always been satisfied. They arrive on time and always follow through. I’ve had a spot in my family room where I spilled marinara sauce on the carpet– –a particularly nasty spot. Matt worked extra hard to remove it and it looks great.

Jimmy is very professional and attends to detail. He did an excellent job sealing the grout in the house.

Instead of having us reschedule Jimmy and his guys jumped in and helped us get everything out so they could start on out floors. What would have taken me an hour or more we all they finished in 10 minutes. You can tell from the moment you call for a free estimate that this is a family run business. They really care about their clients and jobs they go out on. You can’t go wrong with choosing Silver Olas!

Jimmy and his team arrived on time and began working immediately. After they had set up, Jimmy explained the order in which rooms would be done so that I could plan ahead in terms of finding a place to settle myself. At my request, the room I was likely to use for most of the day was completed first. This was very important, because they were doing all of my carpets and my tiles, covering virtually every inch of floor space in my home, as well as the marble counter tops in my kitchen.
Carpeted rooms dried super fast, thanks to the big fans — commonly used in flood damage situations — that were place in the rooms after cleaning.
The team worked efficiently. Jimmy did tiles and marble and the other two men did the carpets, but everyone worked together when it came time to move furniture. Everyone was nice and the three men work well together. They cleaned thoroughly and carefully, taking pride in their work. Having the Silver Olas team in my home for an entire day was a pleasant experience.
Silver Olas prices are similar to what other companies charge — less in some cases. There was no pressure to do more than I had asked for initially (such as trying to add Scotch Guard) and there were no hidden charges. Most importantly, everything looked fresh and clean when they were done. I highly recommend Silver Olas for your marble, tile and carpet cleaning needs.

I used silver olas for flood damage after a slab leak in my kitchen. He was on time, clean and honest. He told me I could fix the damage myself which was luckily limited to a small section of dry wall between to pantry sections. I told him I was more comfortable paying a professional to do the work which he was happy to accommodate even though it was a small job. He was recommended to me by my mom who had extensive flood damage in her rental property. Thank you very much Jimmy for the work.

Jimmy and his crew were a great help after our flood. They got to our home QUICKLY, were professional, and helped us every step of the way. I especially appreciated his crew’s respectfulness, as I had to be there with them while my husband worked — some workmen can be crude or creepy, but these guys were very polite and kind. Jimmy kept us informed of our remodel’s status, was flexible when we made changes to the plan, did great work, and was timely about it! If we’d gone with our insurance company’s recommendation, we would have been out of our house for MONTHS, but Jimmy had us back in & set up with a temporary kitchen in 3.5 weeks. We are very grateful that we found him!
