Pilates Will:
Improve your physique:
Pilates creates better posture so one can stand taller and look more fit. Pilates activates the deep abdominal muscles and promotes a flat stomach. Pilates Reformer exercises lift ‘burn’ and create the lean ‘toned’ look.
Step up your sports performance
Pilates training activates the smaller stabilizing muscles. Reformer Pilates strengthens the supporting muscles around the join in correct movement patterns. Your larger muscles will be able to handle a heavier load, because the smaller muscles will help support & stabilize your joints.
Heal and prevent injuries
Pilates is excellent rehabilitation for your body– perfect when addressing spine, neck, shoulder, hip, knee & repetitive stress injuries. The Pilates principle of core stabilization addresses posture, muscle performance & motor control, the same concepts that form the basis of most orthopedic rehabilitation & injury prevention.
