Dine In 2Nite

This service is excellent. Food is really a big quality step up from literally anything else that will be delivered to your door. $ 10 a meal is an excellent value. The customer service seems really good, and they adjust to vacations etc. Excellent idea overall. The key is not to expect a room service waiter roll a cart to your front door — expect to get the well packaged meals and potentially microwave them 30 seconds to get them back to «hot» since they were prepared fresh and then had to be delivered. We put ours on a proper plate vs eating out of the containers they come in (which are good reusable quality).

We signed up because of a deal on line and were very happy with the meals. There are no extras — no utensils, napkins, desserts, rolls, — but the food in 4 days has been consistently tasty and fresh, not steam-​table ruined, and tonight, when our chosen delivery time was broaching the 7pm deadline, our phone rang, and it was the company checking on whether we had received our meals. Obviously someone had had transportation issues, and the immediate checkup was very professional and appreciated. And we would do this again and recommend it to everyone.
I wish they this in Henderson, NV, where there is not ONE meal delivery service except pizza restaurants and Meals on Wheels. I have friends who could really use it.

Do nor order from tjem. They never deliver on time and by the time the food delivetef, it is cold. The pork chop often cook unevenly, most of the time the pork were oveecook and sometimes, the pork were still pink. The portion were often inconsistent. Sometimes the portion are so large, you would think they delivered from an all-​you-​can-​eat buffet. Sometimes the portion would be so small, and you wonder your $ 10 was worth for a dish.
Never try to contact them via their web site. Other than charging your credit card to ensure they get paid, they pretty much ignore all ypur other request.

I signed up for the three day trial prior to having major surgery done. I know that I won’t be able to cook for myself for about a month and after learning about Dine In 2Nite in a local coupon magazine, decided to give them a try.
The first night was a skirt steak that was very tasty, served with cubed yams and broccoli/​summer squash. The veggies were cooked well and not soggy nor tasteless which happens sometimes. The second night was a pasta/​shrimp dish. When my delivery time request came and went, I called customer service to see if there was a problem. Marcus called his driver and then called back to advise the driver was on the way. Moments later the driver was at the door and wanted to make sure that I was happy. He added that he is also a cook. The third night was chicken, sweet potatoes and other veggies. Good food.
Overall the food is good basic dishes that are freshly cooked and delivered fresh. The portions are generous. Some dinners I could easily save enough for lunch the next day. I appreciate the good customer service which is so often lacking nowadays. I recommend the service to anyone looking for a «home-​cooked» style dinner at a very reasonable price. I will be subscribing following my surgery and perhaps carry on for a longer period.

I much like everyone else got started here with a Living Social deal. I was attracted to this service because I hate cooking, and though I live close to restaurants I sometimes just like to have food come to me.
I have the 3x a week service.
Signing up is easy, you can opt to have reminder emails. They post the menu online. You can also get veggie versions of the meals, or fish versions.
I opted fish so take that into account.
I swing sorta wildly from day to day on this service. I am a bit picky, and sometimes I don’t want to have what they bring me. Other days I am SO glad that I am not going to have to worry about putting something together for dinner (yeah more like eating cup o soup).
Service is really good at least from my delivery guy. He is really great, calling me when he is near, leaving my food by my door, or even helping me cancel and order last minute. He is always smiling!
Because I just get fish dishes I sometimes get really bored. I have had tilapia for the past month and a half aside for one shrimp dish. One could change their days so it is partly my fault I just prefer to get mid week meals.
Some dishes like pasta, cajun tilapia, and a few others stand out. Others are better than anything I would make (seriously cup o noodles), while others are amazing in that they are so poorly thought out I have to actually tell my friends about it. For example the tilapia in enchilada sauce over lime rice (tasted like plain white rice). Again, I am sure the dish would have been good if you ate meat and could get a normal one.
I will take pictures and probably update often so you can get an idea of how good things are. I am still deciding if I want to keep this service or not. On the days it has been good it has been such a life saver!
Last thing for now to note, when you go on vacation and you can go online and have then stop your service for those dates.

I, too, tried this service via the Living Social deal. My initial plan was to divide the food between my two kids (5 and 2 years old) and avoid having to cook for them 3 nights a week. That plan didn’t work out because the foot was very adult-​oriented (and my kids are picky eaters).
So my hubby and I ended up eating the meals, which was A-​OK by us. The food is very good, and the portions were almost large enough for us to share. I never found the vegetables to be soggy or weird; I thought it all was good.
The delivery people were on time and the plastic containers were great (I saved them and will reuse them for other means).
The staff was friendly and accommodating. One night they managed to switch my meal plan late in the day so I could get spaghetti and meatballs (a dish my kids did enjoy thoroughly!).
The only downsides to this service are:
1) Once you set your plan (e.g., Monday, Tuesday, Thursday), it’s set for good. You have to manually change it or ask the team to do it for you. I’d prefer to see a plan that you update each week based on the menu.
2) The menu is limited. Like my kids, I am a picky eater. I don’t eat much pork or beef, and fish is out of the question. Again, it would be great if you could select the meals you want each week based on an extended menu. (Note: between the two of us, my hubby and I never had a problem finishing everything in our box!)
I like Dine In 2Nite and I hope it works out for more people. We will probably try it again. Yum!

Good idea – home delivered meals to your house for $ 10 (which is like $ 7 per meal plus $ 3 delivery) to save some time and hassle. I had a «special» for a trial for 4 weeks of 3 meals per week.
The size is more than enough for one person and enough for two people to split if you are both not starving. However, some dishes are just «okay» while others (genoa steaks; penna a la vodka; Thai chicken) were great. So in that regard, I agree with another Unilocaler that the food is hit or miss.
I had problems with the scheduling at the beginnig but that was soon resolved to my satisfaction.

To start this off. I don’t do dishes, I don’t cook… well, and grocery shopping falls in the same category as laundry! I have had this service for a little over two months and LOVE it. I am extremely busy and I was basically living off one bad TV dinner to the other OR going to the grocery store to find prepackaged food that pawns itself off as «home cooking». I was trying to figure out which one had the least cancer causing ingredients when I found Dine In 2 Nite. I was at first completely saddened because they didn’t deliver to my area, then I found that they would deliver to a Fiji yogurt in Hillcrest where I could pick up my dinner! I have a new quality of life! I know that sounds a extreme, but I save time and money grocery shopping, «cooking» and dishes! I even have enough of my entrée left over to make it a lunch the next day! I find that I’m eating healthier (most meals come with a vegetable. a real vegetable not a freeze dried one) and I am not buying «barely» food in the freezer section anymore! I’m more than excited with the service! I’m even picky with food and I haven’t found anything that I didn’t like. I can pick and choose what days I want. I don’t like seafood, so I usually pick the nights that don’t offer it, but I noticed they fit a variety of diets (vegetarian, Pescatarian) I urge you to just TRY it! I LOVE it and will never go back!

I first heard of this service through LivingSocial. My roommate and I purchased and shared the 3 nights/​week for 4 weeks plan, because we weren’t sure how good the foods would be.
Currently I am on my 3^rd week of delivery. The foods have been amazing — good portion (enough for 2), fresh and balanced nutrition. We chose the food to be delivered between 4−530pm and it has never been late! The food always come hot in a microwavable container in a plastic bag. The delivery person also manages to hang the plastic bag at the door knob or leave it somewhere off the ground as to minimize contaminations.
Generally, their chicken and sirloins are good. Try avoiding vegetables except for broccolis! They are soggy and weird. Here’s a list of food that l have ordered and am satisfied with: brown sugar tomato chicken, pineapple sirloin skewers, pepper beef stroganoff, thai fusion aroz con pollo, Morroccan meatball tagine.
Downside? With the 3 nights/​week plan, you have to go online to change your delivery schedule every week. Also, check your credit card statements. These people ain’t very good with money management. Make sure you give them a call if you see unusual charges. We got charged an extra $ 10, but they refunded us within 24 hours after we called.
Tips and delivery fees are already included in the meal plan!

The food was hit-​or-​miss. The portions are mid-​sized and sometimes good for 2 people. Their delivery times were set to only two time frames, so the meals can be delivered at very different times. If you expected piping hot food, prepare to microwave a lot because the food often arrives lukewarm and almost cold.
I started the subscription via a Living Social deal, and after the 4 weeks was up, I followed their instructions to cancel my subscription.
You have been warned! Their customer service is spotty at best and they DO NOT make cancelling easy. In fact, I have contacted my bank to place a hold on their recurring charges because they refused to acknowledge my three emails to cancel my subscription. Even when I called in, the customer rep I spoke to was unable to assist me with cancelling my subscription.
So please, save yourself the time and money and just cook some pasta for dinner or order Chinese take-​out. It will be cheaper and fresher and you won’t have to deal with their «customer service» or your bank to dispute charges.

Tasty gourmet dishes. Good size portion. Customer service ok. Asked for another bag with a zipper to keep my food warm since the first bag’s zipper malfunction, but have not gotten a replacement. Three days a week worked for us.

After having experienced the three night a week meal delivery service I signed up for the five night a week service!!! The customer service is simply amazing. I plan to be a five night a week customer for a long, long time.

I was very skeptical first but decided to give it a try. The dishes are of very good quality and there is a large variety of different meals. Delivery is always on time and the price is reasonable.

They left me a flyer on my door for a free meal to try. I ordered the spaghetti last week. Overall, it was a decent experience. The portions are good. $ 10/​meal delivered is a pretty good deal. The spaghetti wasn’t very impressive though. It came with very little sauce and two sausages on top. The sausages, although tasty, weren’t cut and cooked into the sauce… just placed on top. It was also somewhat greasy which made me wish they had a nutrition info section on their website. Also, I had to order it at least 24-​hrs in advance. The delivery window is about 1.5 hours which meant I had to clear my plans and just be at home during that window. These are just minor inconveniences though.
In my opinion, if you NEED delivered meal service, this seems like a good option. Their other meals may be more impressive than the spaghetti I tried. However, if you have a hectic schedule or can make your meals, then it would be difficult to justify using this service all the time. Again, nutritional information for each meal would be helpful.

I’m loving this new food service so far. I got the 3 free meals when you sign up for the first time, and each one of them was pretty darn good! The portions were way more than I expected, I couldn’t even finish.
Cheap, quick, tasty, no hassles. can’t complain.
