EBP Plumbing & Drain Service

Having a few people I know that could help but not available I turned to Unilocal for fast response. Leo was quick to respond and made me feel very comfortable about the situation. Will be adding him in my contacts for anyone who needs work asap and for myself.

I was calling around to get estimates and Leo had the best price. When he came out to do the job he had the best customer service. Leo guaranteed his work. Would definitely call him again in the future. :)

Have not use them so not sure about their work. Just called to get an estimate and it was over 3 times what my regular plumber would charge. I wanted a main line cleared using the roof clean out on a single story house. My regular plumber (Courtesy Plumbing) was not available and normally charges me $ 125-​$ 150. EBP wanted $ 425??? Crazy price for a simple clean out.

I had Leo come out to give us an estimates on several downtown rental units. He stated that he was familiar with plumbing in High rise units. He came out and checked all the units which was a little over an hour of his time and mine.
I asked him if he could give me the estimate after he finished his inspection of the units. He stated he would email it to me that same day which was a Friday. I explained I was in a hurry to get this work done as I did not want to take a chance that there may be a leak and it would effect other units in the building. He said no problem he would get it right out. On Tuesday the following week I had not received it yet. I texted him I called many times throughout the week and left messages. He did not have the courtesy to call me back. He is unreliable and I would not recommend him. He wasted an hour of my time not to mention all the calls with no call back. If he did not want the job why not just tell me up front.

This is an overdue review. These guys are just so nice, professional, on time, explained the situation well. Really pleased with the work they have done for us!

We originally used EBP to unclog a drain… it was expensive but they got the job done.
Unfortunately less than a month later we had the exact same problem with the exact same drain. We called EBP back and left 3 different messages. Then the mailbox was full. We have yet to receive a call back and it’s been a day now.
I just find it funny that a company would say they are available for emergency issues and then never answer their phone or return a message. It’s really frustrating and make me not trust this company any more.

Called Xtreme drain works and they did the job right away and for half the price! Call them if you have plumbing issues!

I’ve met my fair share of dishonest plumbers, so I was so happy to have found EBP today. They were prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely fair. I would recommend EBP to my family and best friends.
We just moved into our new house a few days ago, only to find sewage backing up into our downstairs bathroom through the toilet. We called Leo and after explaining our situation he came over within the hour and it turned out that our main line is compromised by tree roots; he showed me the tangle of roots attached to the end of the cutting end of the snake. He spent extra time trying to clear out as much of the roots as possible even after was flowing fine.

I called a few other well known plumbing companies before I happened to see Leo’s name mentioned in a Unilocal review. I decided to give him a call about our backed up bathroom sink. He came the Same day. Unclogged our sunk with a quickness and a smile for less than anybody else who wanted me to wait a week for the privilege.
Oh — did I mention that he did this on Valentine’s Day? To his credit he did say he had something planned for his sweetheart :-). What a guy!

Leo is a relatively knowledgeable, but not very reliable or receptive. When I first called him, I wasn’t even sure I called the correct number, as he didn’t inquire about my issue until I asked if I could schedule an inspection. I gave him all the details, but still felt unsure if I hired the right person for the job. Leo arrived and gave me a fair estimate and inspection, but again, I had to prompt him with questions, he didn’t just give me the information or a holistic view of the situation.
MOST IMPORTANTLY, when I tried to call him to book a appointment his voice mail was full and he never returned my call.
When I finally got a hold of him, I arranged an appointment at 4pm on a Monday and HE NEVER SHOWED, which wasted my time. I will not be calling Leo back and seeking another plumber. If you do decide to choose Leo, be prepared to ask a lot of questions, as he is not very informative.
I was very surprised by his service because he received so many positive reviews.

I originally called someone else to fix a leaky valve inside the toilet but he failed to show up twice. Because we are in a severe drought, I needed to get this fix asap. So, I called Leo and he showed up within two hours to fix the problem. He was very nice and did not leave a mess. Thank you.

Hiring people to work in your house is pretty terrifying. Not only are you inviting in a stranger, but you are doing so with an admission that you have no idea how to fix the problem. Plumbing, in particular, is an uncertain medium because of scary stories of crazy expenses by shady plumbers. Luckily for us, we found Leo. Not only was he extremely professional and courteous, but I truly believe he works with the highest of integrity. I could not recommend him more highly.

I called Leo because I found a good amount of water leaking from our retaining wall in the backyard that was near the pool. Not only did he answer his phone without me having to leave a message, but he showed up within two hours.
Both him and his partner were very friendly, helpful and professional. They thoroughly inspected where the water could be coming from and even recommended a company that could help with the detection of a broken pipe, since no apparent pipe was exposed. They suspected it might be my neighbors and suggested I talk to them. Leo went above and beyond, and all this for a free estimate.
Will definitely be calling these guys if the leak happened to be ours, and if not, will absolutely be recommending them to our neighbors!

After dealing with another company, in vain, to attempt to get a leaky pipe fixed, the pipe couldn’t take it anymore and started shooting water out on a Saturday morning last month. I took to Unilocal to attempt to get the problem rectified that day. I called EBP plumbing and was told that someone could come out within a few hours AND that there was no additional weekend service charge! WOO HOO! Not only did Leo come out and fix my leaky pipe, he also showed me what had been wrong with it and how I can regulate the water pressure in the future should I need to. All this and for LESS than what the other company was attempting to charge me. I will DEFINITELY be calling EBP should I have any other plumbing issues. Very happy with their service!

Of course when your water heater goes out it has to be on a Sunday when all of about 3 places have service hours. I called around 11:40 when we noticed we had water on the garage floor and identified the leak was coming from the water heater. The man on the phone said he could send someone out within the hour. —- came out and it only took him a few minutes to see we had a leak from within the tank. He told us it would be $ 250 to install and $ 400 for the new water heater, but unfortunately he wouldn’t be able to install until today (Monday) because the place the water heater would be picked up from wasn’t open Sundays. He saw the look of horror on my face at the thought of not being able to use hot water for 24 hours and told us the pilot was still lit and as long as we didn’t mind cleaning up after the leak we could use hot water. He said he’d be back at 10am to install the new heater.
Fast forward to Monday at 10am and I’m rushing to wash baby bottles before we have no hot water. I proceeded to sit and wait. And wait. And wait. I called my husband and said, «He did tell us 10:00, right?». So at 10:50 I looked at my phone and saw I had a missed call and voicemail from 10:46 that said he was running late but on his way. I was a bit irritated he waited nearly an hour to let me know he was running late, but also relieved to know we would be taken care of soon.
He told me he’d have to shut off the water and if we needed to use water to do so then while he was getting things ready. I happened out to the garage to put some laundry in the hamper and he told me, «The water has been back on for a little while if you need to use it». Now I realize he warned me the water was getting turned off, but after 2 hours of no water it would have been nice to know as soon as it came back on. I get it, he was busy getting it installed, soldering valves and such, knew I had a newborn and maybe didn’t want to knock and risk waking him up, but the sawing and scraping of metal as he moved the water heater off the stand did that. Still, I’m just saying, water is a necessity :)
Overall, would I use them again or recommend them? Absolutely!

I can’t say enough great things about Leo and his service. I moved to San Diego and bought an older condo in the Marina. I needed a plumber before my new dishwasher could be installed. I found Leo on Unilocal and he was great with ability to schedule quickly and cost was very reasonable. Since then I had two other jobs completed by Leo. We had valves leak for washer/​dryer replaced by Leo and a major issue with a broken tub drain. Leo was able to go through drywall to replace the drain pipe so we wouldn’t have to go through ceiling of neighbor below. If you need a plumber that is reliable, honest and reasonably priced, call Leo!

Last night my kitchen sink stopped draining! Ahhhh. A counter FULL of dirty dishes — — YUCK! I jumped on Unilocal and called several places, none of them could get to me until later in the week. I called EBP and spoke with Leo, the owner (super nice over the phone). He said he could be at my house within the hour! SCORE! He arrived as promised. And fixed my sink in about 20 minutes… While he was here, I had him look at our toilet in one of the bathrooms (it has been making noise). It needed a simple part, which he happened to have on his truck. He fixed the sink and the toilet and was out the door in less than an hour at a fair price! He’s a nice guy to boot… I’ll definitely call him FIRST whenever I need a plumber! :-)

Great, quick and efficient service! Called Leo in a panic after realizing my water hose had been spraying water for several days! Found his Unilocal site and read all of his satisfied customer reviews. Leo came quickly (within 10 minutes), provided us a fair quote and fixed the problem in the next few hours.
Leo is professional and has a very kind demeanor about himself.

Excellent company with great prices. The staff is great and is genuinely trying to help you and not rip you off.
I discovered them when another pluming company ruined my toiler and my water bill sky rocketed.
I have used them a couple times and will continue to use their services!
