Established in 2011.

After many years of caring for my own pets (Cats, Dogs, Birds and Bunnies) in my home and for the neighbors and friends going on vacations, Mid-​Day Walks or Sleep Overs. I decided to become Professional trained in Pet CPR & 1st Aid, A Member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, Bonded & Insured for confident and respectful service and a member of the Better Business Bureau has us prepared to meet your Pets needs while you’re away and any emergency that may arise.

Passionate Pet Care is what inspires me and I would be honored to care for your pets with the same time and attention.

My life has always been filled with animals of all kinds: Cats, Dogs, Birds, Bunnies, Pigs… and always in groups of 2 or three with the ones with tails!

Caring and sharing life with Animals is full of fun and love. Giving back to those that give so much is one of my life’s passions.

I met with Kate for a home prior to booking a dog walking session and it went great! She is so easy to talk to and truly cares about your pet! She is very knowledgeable and you can tell she is experienced and trustworthy. After meeting with her I booked a 30 minute dog walking session for mid day. She texted when she arrived and before leaving, texted pictures and an update on my dog. Very easy to work with and will be using her again the next time we are in need.

I cannot say enough positive things about Kate. Our older rescued dog has severe abandonment issues, and under Kate’s care we consistently came home to a happy dog instead of an anxious one. Kate was reliable and loving, and more than once came to our rescue with little notice, including when our son was born and she sat at the ready. We are so sad to have left San Diego and Kate, but cannot recommend her highly enough. She made leaving our dear dog at home as easy as it could be knowing she’s be well cared for, and there’d never be a negative surprise when we returned. Trust Kate! (Written Aug 2014 but sleep-​deprived new mom brain messed up posting somehow.)

Kate at Pawtails is absolutely wonderful. She took care of my pooch for ten days and he was fit and happy when I returned home. I loved that at our first meet and greet there was an information sheet she requires all new clients to fill out that asked all the relevant questions so nothing is forgotten (yes, she even makes sure you allow your dog to drink tap water… I do). I received daily pictures, emails, and updates about how my dog was doing, fun things they saw on the walk, etc. It was perfect. I highly recommend her to anyone!

After debating on whether or not to board our pets so we could do a week worth of traveling, we took the opportunity to have a full time pet sitter of our 5 cats and 2 dogs so we could ensure our animals were comfortable and taken care of properly. We found Kate’s attitude and love for animals evident when she first met with our furry family members!
Our dogs love her and behaved even better after we had returned! We credit Kate for her compassion and positive instructional reinforcement with their behavior!

Our dog has a wonderful time at Kate’s place! We were out of town for one weekend and needed a dog sitter, so Kate came to the rescue. She came to our house to pick up our dog. Our dog felt very comfortable with her. Kate spent a lot of time playing in the backyard and at the dog park with our dog. I would definitely recommend Kate if anyone who is looking for a dog sitter!

ABSOLUTELY my «go-​to» when I’ve got to leave the lot behind! I don’t travel very often, but when I do, its great to know that my kiddos (two kitties and a high-​energy pooch) will be well taken care — loved and attended to!
Kate is amazing! It’s clear to see how much she really enjoys spending time dotting on and playing with the four-​legged friends :) And they love her, too! Admittedly, my pooch can be a handful, but I can always count on a few text-​pics of the two of them having a good time while I’m away.
