As your Property Manager with Diego Homes Property Management I offer you my expertise in the housing industry with 12 years work experience and current memberships with the National Apartment Association (NAA), California Apartment Association (CAA) and the San Diego County Apartment Association (SDCAA). I have held my degree in Property Management since 2003 and currently hold my CAM® with the NAA. I was awarded the Mark of Excellence Award for Regional Portfolio Manager of the Year 2009 from the SDCAA. I am bilingual, fluent in the Spanish language and am extremely familiar with all areas of San Diego County and

Had an appointment today @ 9:30AM. No show. I was going to call back and reschedule, but this is consuming more time than I anticipated. Life is supposed to be easier with a property management company not harder. It’s hard already to contact them and meet for an appointment, imagine when i need something ASAP after I’ve signed with them.
This is my rating and review until further notice. I hope this motivates them to call and reschedule or at least call to apologize. I’ve checked my messages and have no messages left by this company.

Called, left voicemails and emailed the company several times, and it’s been almost 2 weeks and haven’t heard back at all.
I guess they don’t want more business.

What a difference a professional management group makes!
We originally went with a different company to manage our condo, but after several months of delayed return emails, VERY expensive repairs and just general unhappiness with communication, we went in search of a different company. Diego Homes and Stacey have taken over the management expertly, and my husband and I are SO much happier. Their online management system is really easy to use, and makes everything transparent. I get very quick email and phone call responses to any questions. When we had some concerns with our old tenant moving out she was very professional and used her magic touch to have that happen with minimal issues. Stacey also showed the condo time after time to new prospective tenants until she found the right one.
The purpose of hiring a property management company is to make having rental property easier. The first company make it very stressful and expensive – Diego Homes and Stacey have shown us it can be very different.

There are 3 things I looked for in a property management company; responsiveness, organized, reasonable prices. Diego Homes Property Management had all 3. I get responses quickly via email, even on the weekend. They have online management system so I can see my p&l anytime. They are not trying to rip off their owners with high priced labor, everything is transparent. I will be using them for my next rental.

Wendy Nettz is our property manager. She is the picture of what an organized, knowledgable and hard working property manager should be. We are a military family being moved over seas and reluctantly must rent out our home. We’ve poured so much into our home and had a lot of stress and anxiety over renting it. Wendy and Diego Homes were referred to us by our realtor and since the day we met Wendy we’ve been stress free and 100% comfortable leaving our home in her hands. Courteous, on time, professional, knowledgable, attention to detail and truly reliable. We found the perfect renters within a two week period and can move away knowing our home is in excellent hands. I highly recommend this company and especially Wendy!

I hired Diego Homes Property Management in December 2012 to manage my 5 bedroom single family dwelling. Property Manager Wendy helped me get the unit ready, and then proceeded to find the perfect tenant family. Everything has run smoothly since that time and I have been very satisfied with this company’s services.

I have one condo that is managed by Diego homes and I have been very pleased by their service. Wendy takes care of everything and gets things done quickly! My stress level went from through the roof to nonexistent when I turned over my property management duties to her. They asked a very fair price, 7.5% of rent. It is well worth it for the peace of mind. Renting can be extremely stressful and sometimes too much to handle for someone who already has another full time job. I definitely will be with this company for years to come!

Wendy is our Property Manager and she has always been extremely responsive, polite and understanding in her interactions with us. I would recommend Diego Homes and her in particular to anyone looking for a rental in San Diego. Several times we have had minor issues with appliances or house maintenance and she has been extremely prompt in getting the issue resolved. To top it off, she is a fun easygoing person that doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable or scrutinized like some landlords/​property managers do. Thanks for everything!

I have 2 rental properties by San Diego State University. Both of which are a pain to try to rent and manage on my own. I heard about Diego Homes Property Management Group through a friend of mine and contacted them to see if they could help me out. I dealt directly with one of the owners, Ian, and he was incredibly helpful. Their prices were reasonable and they had a TON of experience in the area so I decided to give them a try. Wendy is my point of contact and property manager and she has been a godsend. She goes through an awesome process of listing the place and making sure its clean and the current tenants are notified when it’s time to start showing the place to prospective new tenants. She goes through a check with each of them and she did an incredible job of pricing my place and getting what I asked for. I’ve had issues with my properties including major things like termites. When something is wrong they have all the answers ready to go. In this instance they shopped around and got a few estimates and once we got a good price Wendy coordinated with the tenants to have the place tented over Easter break when they were all gone. Everything went perfectly and the tenants were happy too. Even when it comes to things like plumbing issues and other things that need to be fixed, Wendy and team are very good at contacting my home warranty company, coordinating them to go to the house and fix what needs to be done, and then letting me know that the charges will be deducted from the rent money. Such an easy process. Love these guys. I’d highly recommend them to anyone.

After a few tries at the difficult task of finding qualified tenants, I hired Diego Homes to manage my home in Carmel Valley. The staff was very attentive and took the time to listen and address all of my concerns. They were able to rent my home very quickly, and with their online site I am able to track everything I need to. I don’t ever have to worry about tenants calling or multiple quotes for random repairs. Diego Homes is honest and works to please both the landlord and the tenants. A wonderful experience and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for property management!
