Del Cerro Cleaners

My wife and I have used this cleaner from time to time because it is just down the street from our house. With both of us working sometimes it can be hard to get stuff to the cleaners and it would be nice to say the place down the street was convenient but it is not.
My wife had to be at work early today and I was running out of clean slacks. Since I had to take the kids to school, I made the time to drop some stuff off at the cleaners. The kids were dropped off at school around 0745 and I drove to the cleaners, arriving around 0800. The place was closed and the sign said they wouldn’t open until 0830. I figured I’d just wait it out. Unfortunately the restaurant next door also wasn’t open. A rather «healthy-​looking» lady showed up at 0810 and opened the door to the cleaning establishment. As I approached, she turned and looked at me. When I told her I was waiting to drop some things off she replied, «we don’t open til 0830, sweeite» She then went inside for two minutes, came out, locked the place up and lumbered off to the grocery store at the other end of the mall.
I took my business elsewhere. I don’t know all of the facts but I do know I am not her sweetie and in a tight economy, it’s pretty crazy to turn away $ 50 worth of dry cleaning. I am assuming she isn’t the owner because if I owned the place I would have been more than eager to take the clothes 15 minutes early. Most professionals who frequently use cleaners like to drop stuff off before work and 0830 is kind of late to first open. In fact, I was able to drive to San Carlos cleaners, which opens at 0630, drop my stuff off and be at work before the Del Cerro Cleaners even opened.

I was first very excited about this place because they advertise the lack of unhealthy chemical use in their dry cleaning process. For the last year or two, I have not had problems with bringing my clothes for cleaning.
Just today, I picked up a comforter after sending it for cleaning. When I arrived home, I immediately went to the bedroom and removed it from the nice plastic bag it was in. I found dirt and hair stuck on areas of the comforter. After checking the comforter, I noticed it just did not look clean at all. We immediately went back to Del Cerro Cleaners where the owner just started laughing the moment we told him of the dirt and hair. He said he could not help the fact that there were hairs. He said he could not help the fact that all people have «different preferences». He swore it was cleaned and he had no idea what we were talking about. The worse part was his out loud laughter at the matter.
Oh no he didn’t! How can not wanting hairs (that I know do not belong to me) on my comforter be a «preference»? How can dirt be allowed on a clean comforter?
This man (I think he is the owner) is the least customer service oriented person I have EVER met. If you want to have dirty work done for a high price then this is your place. He will laugh at your complaints and become very confrontational.
