Healing Touch Lounge

I have been seeing J Emmanuel Hodge for the past 3 months and he is amazing! I have been looking for someone strong enough to work into my tense muscles for years. Recently I was diagnosed with Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. The muscles in my shoulder are pinching the nerve causing my arm and hand to go numb. I used to go to So Relax in the malls and I have been back twice since working with Hodge but the pain comes back within a few hours. When he works on my back the pain subsides for nearly two weeks! He not only does deep tissue massage therapy but he also helps me with my balance and walking as I also broke the talus bone in my ankle. J is just over all great and highly recommended!

WOW… I loved the way Andrea massaged me… she really knows how to treat you right and get to the spots that bother you most. I felt so good after my muscles were more relaxed and the stress from my body seemed to fade away.

Went to see Andrea a couple times in the past and left her a review from another Unilocal account i had came across her again on Unilocal and thought id add another post for her business. The HTL is a nice place and she has a great skill set and is a outgoing great person. Ill be back soon enough.

Andrea was super awesome. She was pretty fun during the massage and worked out a lot of the tension in my back and shoulders. The Swedish massage was pretty legit and reasonably priced. I’d recommend you try a place like here which is nice and clean and convenient, definitely coming back. Highly recommend.

massage services can be sketchy, but i decided to gamble on andrea based on reviews and am honestly glad i did.
made early morning arrangements with andrea a few weeks before i knew i was going to be in town. she asked me a few questions prior to making the appointment to make sure we were a match, had me complete a questionnaire upon arrival, then left me like jello after ironing out all the tension in my shoulders and knots in my lower back.
making the appointment was easy. andrea’s a professional. and the service was top notch.

I was in desperate need of a good massage after my recent trip to the east coast and high stress work environment. The lounge is clean, peaceful and quiet.
I got a tandem, four hands massage and had one of the best massages of my life. I was put into a trance by all four hands moving in unison. If you’ve never had one before you should definitely try it!
I will be highly recommending Healing Touch Lounge to my everyone and I’ll be returning in the future for sure.

Truly one of the best massages I’ve ever had!!! It was so relaxing and I loved all the natural oils she used. Andrea was so sweet and professional. I really like the room and the temperature of the bed. You truly do get your money’s worth. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Loved that they had a lot of flexibility in time and that there was free parking right out front.

Very cute boutique style massage center. The service was very personal and customized to fit my needs. I went in with a lot of neck and back pain. I left with a very big smile!

Last week I had a massage with Andrea. She was great. She’s very professional. I love the atmosphere. I felt like I was in a beautiful jungle right on the ocean. Very relaxing.

Great little place hidden in a little mini mall. The inside is unlike any other massage/​healing center. It is more personal than Massage Envy and feels like you are just sitting in someone’s cool living room.
The first massage room is so amazingly decorated. Wood lined walls just like a sauna with a cute LCD fireplace. Really nice and cozy.

Andrea is awesome! Very professional and is excellent at what she does! After a brutal dirt bike ride, she worked out all the kinks so my body can function right. I will definitely come back again. Thanks AC!

I was in town for 4 days of meetings. Found Healing Touch on Unilocal.The massage I received from Andrea is without a doudt the most relaxing and revitalizing experience I have ever had. I will return to Healing Touch and Andrea on all my future visits tk San Diego

Last week I met J. Hodge at the Healing Touch Lounge to receive a 60 minute massage. I have had many massages over the years with a variety of massage technicians. By far, my experience with J was the best I have ever had. Not only that, I love the ambience in the Lounge, as well as, choice of furniture.
J stared out by getting a complete history of my health and a list of my concerns as we discussed what my expectations were. He was more thorough than some Doctors. I was not rushed and felt very comfortable. I had recently had a car accident and told him about a fracture to my baby toe and some lingering shoulder pain.
During the massage, J showed me how importance it was for me to breath deeply to help me get the most value from the session. Although I taken a deep breathing class to improve circulation, I had not used those techniques during a massage. It was highly effective. Before the massage, I thought I needed some physical therapy for my toe, however, by the end of the session, my toe and shoulder felt great! As a result, I won’t need physical therapy. saved some money!
Usually after a massage, I would feel a little sore because of the workout my body received, yet, after the massage with J, I didn’t feel sore and in fact, I felt more grounded. And believe me, the quality of the massage has elevated my expectations.
Before left the office, I made my next appointment. Excellent job J!

I went for a 90 min massage with Andrea last week. She was very strong and worked really hard on my upper back. There are not enough great things to say about the experience I had with Andrea !!
She is truly talented and I am one picky girl! I almost exclusively opt for male massage therapists because I appreciate firm pressure like no one else I know, but Andrea provided it, making me rethink my entire philosophy on this matter. She is professional, engaging, soft spoken and incredibly good at what she does. If you have specific issues, she finds the spots and works them out.
The ambiance is very zen and tranquil. Andrea is a welcoming, friendly, & positive. She is truly passionate about providing a customized experience that will leave you feeling relaxed, refreshed, and wanting more. What a gem :)
The tip was not included in my bill or maybe I missed it and if so I generously tipped again. But to tell you the truth she deserved it!
I will be returning !

I thought I’d check this place out after a cancelled trip to the Glen Ivy Hot Springs. Have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The space itself is super clean with a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and professional and really did an excellent job in working out the kinks I was suffering from on that day. I had a lot of tension in my shoulder blades and stiffness in my lower back which my masseuse concentrated on during the massage and left me feeling like a new person.
I’d would highly recommend Healing Touch Lounge and will definitely be back!

Known Andrea for at least 12 years. Her massage is by far the best I have had. She knew where my tension and tightness was and addressed it without forgetting about the rest is the body! Well Done!
