What happened to Big Lots and Staples? Or was that a Office Max? Did Wallyworld eat em up? And does anyone ever go to Target? Did anyone even know there’s a Sam’s Club on the other side? And a jamba Juice, Subway, 5bucks and 24 Hour Fitness? O and there’s also a Coco’s, you don’t see too many of those around anymore. I like how there’s a Chuck E. Cheese next to Walmart. It;s an easy way to make my kid wanna be extra good while were there cause then we can just walk over and have fun at Chuck E. Cheese after. This is another reason I park by the garden center of Walmart, it;s right in the middle of the two, and there aren’t nearly as many people crowding thru the doors here. Remember when there was a Bank of America across from Coco’s? Now it;s a Chase. It seems like a lot of the parking lot at College Grove Center goes unused most of the time. I always see a lotta military families here since there’s military housing nearby, same as the Stonecrest Walmart. If I lived nearby this wouldn’t be a «one stop shop» only because i typically don’t by all my groceries from Walmart. For certain items, they just can’t match Food 4 Less, which is about a 5 minute drive away. But, I take the freeway here, then drive the streets back in a loop which hits all my targets. Been shopping here for years and more years to come.

So College Grove could be a lot better with the stores that they have but they have some decent ones. The places I go are of course Walmart for outdoor supplies, Target for home stuff and Rubio’s for decent fast food. CG seems a little rusty and down on it’s luck, there are always and unfortunately homeless people at the intersection near Coco’s, I just think that’s a very dangerous intersection. I just wish they had more quality stores and got rid of Big Lots. I do like how they have the Jamba Juice and a Starbucks. Overall CG isn’t my favorite shopping center but it’s location to the 94 is great and they have some cheap stores like Ross and Big Lots.

College Grove it decent these days. But do you all remember when College Grove and Plaza Bonita were the hippest places ever? I sure do. College Grove Center has been enveloped by a lot of large corporate stores. I still love it here. but sure miss the old days.

Very convenient. There’s a Target, Walmart, Kohl’s, plus a Big Lots for shopping. And if you like Sam’s Club, they have one located in the back.
