History

Established in 2012.

Armando Flores is the owner of Charco Design & Build Inc., an award-​winning firm he founded after 20 years of experience in the design and construction industry.

A San Diego native, Flores got his start at a top-​notch design firm in Los Angeles after studying architectural drafting and interior design. After making his way back to San Diego, he worked for 15 years as Vice President and COO of Charco Construction, an esteemed and reputable remodeling company his father-​in-​law established back in 1966.

His work has been featured in numerous magazines and on television. One of his most famous kitchens can be seen every week on the hit local cooking show, ‘Sam the Cooking Guy.’ The San Diego Daily Transcript also nominated Flores as a top influential years 2009 through 2011.

With an enthusiasm for architecture, cars, and art, Flores draws much of his inspiration from his passion for vintage vehicles, historic structures, and his frequent travels around the world.
