Prior to founding Brubaker & Shultz, with Nathan Shultz, Ms. Brubaker served as a Deputy District Attorney in Marin County. As a prosecutor, Ms. Brubaker handled countless cases ranging in severity from DUI’s, drug and property crimes to violent offenses. While she was a prosecutor, she independently tried 15 jury trials. Ms. Brubaker worked in a variety of assignments while she was a prosecutor. These assignments included the felony trial team, family violence unit, elder abuse, and the general misdemeanor unit. In addition to her trial experience, Ms. Brubaker has experience filing criminal charges and negotiating resolutions in both misdemeanor and felony cases.
