Very detail oriented and takes great care of my car! Will use him forever! He Opti-​Coated my entire car and man does it shine! And it protects my paint, glass, headlights and upholstery!

I was looking for a mobile detailer and a friend referred me to Dann. My 11 year-​old Toyota was in need of a complete detail. I am so happy with the results! The car looks great, almost like new again. Dann and his assistant spent about 4 hours working on it. He was so easy to work with. Professional, courteous and low-​key. I would definitely recommend Big D.

I’m in San Diego visiting my daughter and decided to get her car detailed for her. It was pretty disgusting, with eight years of accumulated dirt and grime. She’s not the tidy type. Plus she has a dog.
The car looks amazing. It almost doesn’t seem like the same car. They get into all those little places where it seems impossible to reach and make it sparkle. The price was reasonable and the work is top notch. You can’t go wrong with Big D!

I shopped around getting numerous quotes from other detailers in San Diego and Big D’s is definitely the best price for Opti-​Coat around. Dann is not only the fist certified Opti-​Coat installer in San Diego, but he’s also the Southern California distributor as well. He was able to get scratches out of my car that the dealership couldn’t.

Dann has got to be one of the best! I have used various other detailers from San Diego and other states and he is very professional and just makes your car shine. I scheduled with him since he is the Optimum supplier for Southern California and the good reviews. He showed up and went over my wife’s new SUV. He pointed out a scratch in the paint that I didn’t notice before at the dealership. After 3 – 4 hours of work, I came out to look at the car and I didn’t even remember where it was located since he made it disappear. Dann is the best! I have had him as my detailer since 2004 and a few moves! He is on time and if he is running late, he lets you know. He is good at what he does and does not overcharge. Once a year I have the super cleaning done where he steam cleans the whole inside of the car, including the vents. He is a great guy and the consummate professional. And his dog Spike, his contant companion, is cute too! Go with Big D’s for all of your detailing needs!

I was about to sell my motorcycle and wanted it to look its best. Called 5 Point Mobile Auto Detail since it was so highly rated, but learned they don’t do motorcycles now. I asked if they could refer me to anyone and they suggested Big D. Glad they did!
No hassle. Arrived on time. Low-​key and friendly. I was able to go about my business while Big D and his helper worked on my bike for 5 hours. (From personal experience I knew that motorcycles can indeed take hours and hours to detail, as the engines are exposed, there’s more chrome to deal with, and many tiny surfaces to address. My bike was a big Harley with lots of physical real estate and chrome.) I didn’t need a water connection for them, which was handy given my condo/​apartment living. Plus they conserved the water that was used so it didn’t run down the street.
Was jazzed with the results. Everything that could look better did. They’d steamed the engine. Gotten little rust specks off some chrome. Sparkle. *** I could read the VIN number from where I was standing ***
An added plus: Big D called a friend who was looking to buy a bike similar to mine. Don’t know if that person will be the ultimate buyer, but really appreciated that unsolicited thoughtfulness.
