Mark did a great job, on time polite and very professional and we have had several HOT days since the install and the unit works great so far. Even better the electric bill is as low as he promised.

First let me say, I would give Mark even more stars if it was available! We were sweating away in our shop. He came in, took a look at everything, came back 2 days later and fixed everything that was missing and recharged the unit on the roof. Just like that, quick, easy. Our customers and us are happy he happened by the shop! Not only did he fix everything for us, the price was ridiculous. And to top it off a package of cookies for the kids. Can’t say enough how much I appreciate him for what h did for us!!!

If I could give negative starts I would! When my husband asked Mark (the owner) «If we had paid more would you would have done a better job?» His answer was «YES» Are you kidding me? We paid him what he bid and now he wants to blame us for not paying him more for his crappy, unprofessional work! Many issues along the way, starting with a 3 hour job (his quote to us) taking over 9 hours! Nothing was done properly, so when we finally tried to use the A/​C (3 months later) it would not cool. At the time of install Mark said he would come back and make adjustments if needed when the weather got hot, but when we needed him, his schedule was always too busy to fit us in. Finally 6 weeks later when I threatened to hire someone else and send him the bill he came out — slapped a piece of tape over one of the many gaps and said it was good. It was not. I had to hire another A/​C company to come out and they said the job was so botched they would not touch it. The condenser was ‘beefed up’ with a double capacitor to make it appear to be working (this was an A/​C that Mark had removed from another job which he told us would have at least ‘a couple years of life left in it’) the extra capacitor can cause fire concerns and does not meet code. There was no drain pan, so if the drain hose gets clogged all the water ends up in the attic, the drain piping was not installed correctly, the coil he installed was the wrong size for the condenser (2.5 tons vs the correct 3.0 tons) The ducting which he tried to retro-​fit and did a terrible job was not even fully connected to the coil, the refrigerant lines, and electrical lines were not properly insulated, and the list goes on and on! This is a complete botched job and now we have to pay someone to remove it and start over. See you in court, Mr. Flores!

Mark does a great job of standing behind his work. I had a HVAC unit installed 5 years ago when our house was built. Since then we’ve had a few issues and every time Mark stood behind his work and complete the repairs.

I was referred to Flores Air from a friend and ending up saving about $ 1500! I had another estimate from a well known local company for a new furnace and some AC work. Their low estimate was $ 1500 more and they weren’t sure that the AC leak would be fixed.
Mark (owner of Flores Air) came to give me an estimate and I could tell right away he was much more knowledgeable that the technicians from the other company and he seemed very honest and likeable. He was professional and showed up on time for both the estimate and the install. They were done quickly and everything was clean after they left. The leak in the AC was fixed and he didn’t even charge us to fix it because it was minor. We are very happy with Flores Air and the work they did and the money we saved! Thanks Mark!

In May, I paid a significant amount of money to get a more «efficient» AC. The AC guy (Mark) said he could fix up my 20 year old rusted unit instead of buying a new one, but I said that I thought it would break this year, right in the middle of the summer. My husband thought I was crazy!
Based on 2 years of past grey weather patterns, I told Mark that I thought we were due for a traditional summer, so for 1 or 2 weeks of hot weather, I wanted the AC to reliably work. AC guys are typically 2 – 3 weeks behind during hot weather and I didn’t want to put my kids through that again. Jump to my prediction: August and Sept have been insanely uncomfortable here in the inland valleys! Now, this week, the weather people are predicting less humidity with increased temps by the end of the week!
I had no idea how much that new AC unit has been worth EVERY PENNY! (previous AC bills ran $ 600 per month, new AC bill $ 200!) Additionally, Mark told me to use the AC fan to get the hot air out, which wouldn’t add to the bill (acts like a ceiling fan). It works! we use the actual AC from time to time to cool off the house then leave the fan on to dissipate the cool air. Thank you to Flores Air!
I don’t know what those other people were talking about on previous reviews. I had no problems with their care of our home. They disposed of my really large, old, rusted unit which was less a few feet from our pool, without a mess or any issues. This is a very small family business, so you may have to wait for service as he answers his own calls. His young son was helping!

My husband found Flores Air on Craigslist (buyer beware and always check Unilocal!). As part of a remodel, we needed a new furnace that would fit in the attic (had upright model on 1^st floor). I doubt there is enough room to list all the issues we had with them. The workers treated our house like a job site; leaving their fast food wrappers, drink containers, etc. The workers also dented our brand new stainless steel dishwasher. They were very careless with their cutting into the walls and the mess that leaves. My husband told them to out the thermostat where the previous one had been, but no, they needlessly, poked (not cut) a 2″ hole in one of our walls. My husband told them to run the electrical a certain way in the attic b/​c we are putting in skylights later (they ran them exactly where he told them not to). They had to install new pathways (or whatever they are called) for the heating to flow. After they claimed to be finished, we had horrible hot spots and no heat at all in certain areas. The owner, Mark did come out and sent his guys once, I think. He had to come out something like 5 times. I’m sure he lost money on our job but they were horrible!

We had a problem with out heater several months ago, when you turn the thermostat up to start… we can hear the ignitor clicking and clicking and would not ignite. We had it checked by Flores. Ignitor was replaced and we got HEAT! Parts and Labor approx $ 120. they’re prices were alot less that other guys… Great service! Highly recommend! Now our A/​C needs service… No cold air coming out… Better call the Flores’s…

So we had a BUNCH of quotes on fixing the a/​c — none we under 2k, one as high as 5k. We had remodeled the entire house and this was the last thing to fix. Today really was the first day that I actually had to use the a/​c for a bit so I just had to review.
They came out asap as soon as my contractor called them and asked if they could take a look. Mike came out, I handed him the other a/​c folks paperwork as to what they said was going on. He kind of shook his head and took his own look around. Other folks had said that I had to rerun lines, knock out walls etc and that there was a burst pipe somewhere because things weren’t wired properly etc etc etc.
Guess what? The unit needed freon and the big problem??? A BROKEN THERMOSTAT. Cost? $ 300. Not bad compared to at least a 2k quote from the other guys.
Flores is HONEST and knows what he’s doing. Give him a call if you’re having issues with your a/​c unit — I was LUCKY to have found him.
