Bartle Brothers Moving

Had a great experience with this moving company they were fast, courteous, and worked very hard. Adam and Matt were terrific I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Bartle Brothers.

Very professional movers. Demetrius and his crew handled our move quickly andwithout damage at the last minute. Calm these guys if you need your property moved !

My experience with the Barthel Brothers moving company was the worst experience I have had with any «professional» company ever. It’s a long story but bear with me. Me and my roommates needed to be moved out of our house by the end of the day on the day we scheduled the «movers.» We scheduled them to come from 10 – 10:30. At 11 I still heard nothing so I gave them a call. The man I spoke to said «we are running late, one of my drivers was sick and so I will be there in an hour and a half. Also, we tried calling you but you didn’t answer.»
So some how he had turned the blame to me but I still needed movers so I told him 12:30 was fine. 1:15 PM rolls around and still no movers. I called and left a message and still nothing back for 15 minutes.
Ok, so here is the kicker. He then sends me a text that said «I have tried to call and it never gets answered. I told my guys to go to lunch until I here from you.»
I called and the guy picked up. I told him we do not want or need his services at all. All he said was «sorry ok, have a good one.» And hung up after ALL OF THAT.
We exchanged a few texts and he continued to put the blame on me «not answering my phone» (note that this entire time I had no missed calls from him).
We ended up moving everything on our own, but thanks to this «company» we got off to a very late start.
Luckily, my roommates and I are young and «able» to move everything but this company could have really screwed somebody who wasn’t able to move their own things (someone disabled or elderly) and had a deadline.
Would give this company negative stars if I could.

Demetrius and Luke were awesome movers. Professional, efficient and courteous. Also thanks to Chris and his patience with my several reschedules. Highly recommend. They had all the right tools for the move and got it done sooner than expected.

Just had a GREAT move with Demetrius, Adam and Luke that involved, not only the contents of my apartment, but also my beloved 4 foot upright piano having to be moved down 19 steps. They even took care to completely lift my piano off the ground to go down some slate steps to ensure they did not break. They were courteous, very strong, helpful and always smiling. This was a great team of movers. They worked efficiently and treated all of my things carefully. No surprises about the pricing either. Really the best moving experience I have ever had!

These guys were awesome! Darius, Matt and Killian (hope I spelled his name correct) moved me today from Rancho Bernardo to Sun City, they were prompt, courteous and very careful withmy belongings and my home. Chris gave me a quote a few weeks earlier and was upfront about pricing — no surprises and also awesome, he helped me figure out how many guys and trucks I would need and everything went perfectly smooth. Best movers I have had.

My wife and I just bought our first home and needed help moving our storage locker which was jam packed with all our things into our new home. I called 4 different moving companies and nobody could match Bartels pricing or flexibility with our schedule. They helped us in less then a week get the move done. Matt, Killian and Dominick were awesome. All three were friendly, very hard working and got the move done much quicker than I had thought it would take. Very thankful for their help and friendliness in getting us into our new home. Hopefully we won’t have to move again but if we do, Bartle Brothers will get my business.

Demetrius and Jack did a FABULOUS job moving my grandparents today! They had large heavy furniture and stairs and everything made it in undamaged. They rock! We’d use them again…

Bartle Brothers Moving saved our butts! When our recruited help failed to show up on our designated moving day, Bartle Bros saved the day. We called around 9 am Saturday morning and a crew was there by 1:30 pm. Mark and Jack were amazing, polite, efficient and fast. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who asks! Worth every penny!

Due to one of those age old terrible roommate situations who refuse to leave when asked to find a new place even though I had lived at the condo for 2 years longer than thou who shalt not be named. I reluctantly packed the entire house up (I mean the entire house!) and decided to be the one to go… Because let’s face it, you cannot to reason with crazy.
As crappy as the situation was, there was nothing to do, but move forward with my head held high and leaving the slightly unstable back in the dust.
I found Bartle Brother’s through all the mostly positive reviews on Unilocal and while still a little nervous because I have brand spankin’ new cream colored linen couches. I decided to try my luck with these guys. Especially because all the other moving companies gave me questionable pricing, contradicted themselves and were astronomically much higher plus had dodgy reviews.
I called Chris who responded within a day and gave me a firm price of what the minimum would be (3 hour minimum) what additional hours would cost, etc. etc. I started to feel a lot more comfortable knowing I was using a local company and that Chris seemed like a no non sense kind of guy.
Day of the move — the movers were about 30 minutes late due to another move that took longer than expected. I didn’t mind though because they had called in advance and let me know, plus I was running late myself so it gave me some extra time too! I originally was expecting 2 guys, but one had to leave early and they thought ahead to call in another guy to come help so at one point I had 3 guys loading my stuff. Mark, Dominique, and Jack (Cute young Irish guy — for you single ladies… Yes he has an accent) were professional, extremely friendly, listened to my concerns, and handled all my furniture with extreme care… As you remember I was nervous about my cream colored couch and chair (they wrapped it up from one end to the other in shrink wrap, used blankets to protect it and then shrink wrapped it again. Once everything was packed up Dominique took off to another job and Mark and Jack followed me to the storage unit and unpacked it neat and orderly for me.
I think total move time lasted a little over 1 — 1 ½ hours keep in mind that I literally had everything packed up in boxes and at the door ready for them. The only bummer is I had to pay for a minimum of 3 hours, but I knew that going into it and therefore wouldn’t dare remove a star. Besides like I said they were the cheapest option from the places I called. So either way they saved me money.
I would definitely use Bartle Brothers again and I would definitely recommend them to any people who are looking for good reliable movers.

Mark, Dominick and Jack helped us move my mother this past weekend and what a team! Prompt, helpful, VERY hard working and a lot of fun. They even went above and beyond when some of my Mom’s furniture wouldn’t fit in her new place and had to be taken back to her old place. The owner, Chris, was also very accommodating when we had to cancel and reschedule at the last minute. Awesome company!

Very good job of moving me recently. Price was good. Alex and Time were very diligent and hard working. Did a great job, would use them again.

These guys, namely Demetrius and Mark were a couple of workhorses when we needed movers. They moved our third story apt unit to a first floor apartment in under two hours. They were prompt, friendly, professional and catering. They cared more about the placement of our items then we did ha! They never paused even when I offered them water! They have competitive prices $ 79/​hr, 3 hr minimum. I would recommend these no nonsense men to anyone in need of movers. I’ve never seen anyone work so hard. Thanks guys!!!

This is my 1^st review and I just wanted to thank Mark and Dominic for their supreme service. The Bartle Bros. company really helped us out a lot.

We have moved a few times in San Diego and this time around we didn’t want to use the previous moving company. We needed help with all of our heavy furniture. I was not sure which movers to use but after reading the review for Bartle Bothers my husband and I decided to hire them.
We were very pleased with the team they sent, we needed 3 guys. Tim, Adam and Dominic were great! They were very careful with our furniture as some were partially damaged from the last movers we used.
I highly recommend Bartle Brothers, we were pleasantly surprised! All our furniture was shrink wrapped /​or covered accordingly. They disassembled The beds and re– assambled at our new house and placed them in the exact way I wanted it. If any piece of furniture didn’t look quite right where I had imagined it they were more than happy to move it around for me.

Bartle Brothers did such a great job moving me furniture. THey were courteous, on time and professional and the best bang for my buck. I had no damage to my furniture and they were asking where I wanted everything. I would definitely use them again! I will update this recview when I find the reciept with the movers. But one of them played guitar while waiting for authorization. Great job!

Okay if I can only rate this 10 stars I would. These guys were awesome! We moved from a 2 story apartment to a 3 story condo in chula vista and these guys were so patient, fast, and took extra care of our furniture and other stuff. Adam and Demetrius were very proffesional and fun to worked with. They made moving look so easy! We had a great time working with these guys and I would definitely recommend them to my friends that’s why I’m keeping their business card on my wallet. I don’t normally give reviews online but since I am very satisfied with their work, I decided to write here anyway.
