Angelica is the best! I have been seeing her for a while now. I recently made the mistake of getting my brows cleaned up at the Fashion Valley location because I happened to be in the area, and they really needed some attention.
Unfortunately, the browista there used the wrong shape for my brows and left them uneven. While she was extremely nice and the experience was positive overall, my brows were a mess. I immediately called Angelica and begged her to fix them up. It was right around the holidays, so I knew it would be busy. However, I didn’t have much time to work with since I was going to a wedding the following weekend.
Angelica was SO graceful and professional. She was able to squeeze me in, in a matter of days. She reshaped my brows as best as she could. They looked SO much better afterward. Thank you, Angelica. You’re awesome.

I have an eyebrow lady whom I have been going to for years but I happened to be at Nordstroms and have always been curious about getting them done at Anastacia.
I ask if they have an opening and they did. I can’t remember the girl who did my brows but she was very polite and friendly. She takes me into the room and tells me that since this is my first time there she is going to explain the entire process step by step so that I am aware of what she is doing.
She starts with explaining where my brow should start, where the highest arch should be, and how long it should be. She then takes a stencil and somewhat outlines it for herself as a guide. I remind her that I would like to keep my eyebrows thick. She says she understands and wouldn’t give me thin eyebrows. She begins to wax and I don’t know what happened but when I put the mirror up to my face I could see that she had pulled one that shouldn’t have been pulled out and that there was a gap. I’m assuming she had to correct it so she proceeded and took another line out. When I looked in the mirror after she was all done they were thinner than I would have liked. She asked if I came again that I would like it a line thicker. Yes! I had high hopes for this place especially since I have read many reviews and even my sister has gotten her eyebrows done here. Now a few days later I can tell that my eyebrows are different. :(
The only good thing about this experience is that I came during happy hour so I got my lip waxed for free. I’m giving it two stars because the girl was friendly and she explained what she was going to attempt to do.

I just moved to Miami and was hesitant to find a new brow person. After some time though, it became an emergency. I went to Nordstrom Aventura and saw Tammy. She was amazing, I love my brows! It just goes to show what a great company this is.

I’m so happy that there is an Anastasia Brow Studio downtown since I work down here it is so convenient. I had an appointment with Angelica today and the first thing I noticed was her amazing eyebrows which put me at ease since this was the first time getting my brows done with her. She did a fantastic job and showed me some great product I can use to fill my brows in daily and also a serum to grow in the front where I got a little tweezer happy :/​I will be back and I am referring all the girls in my office!

I’ve been to Anastasia studios all across the country and this experience has been my least favorite. The whole overall took less than 10 min whereas everywhere else takes 30, she didn’t use the eye stencil (which is what I’m paying $$$ for) and she didn’t fill them in using or advertising any of the product that they sell. She just wanted me in and out of her chair and reminded me to add the tip on to my Nordstom’s charge. Never again to this location but other locations I highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Chrissyanne at the Anastasia Studio at Nordstrom’s Horton Plaza. I’ve gone to Chrissyanne twice to have a brow lift and she does a fantastic job. She takes her time to make sure your brows are done right and always makes you feel comfortable. She has a great area setup — it’s very relaxing and she plays great music!

convenient location, good service, no rush service, she does take her time to do it, average time takes around 30 – 35 minutes for both lip and brows. if you need a quick fix, this is not the place. the place has improved, she has put some lavender oil in the room and smell quite relaxing. making an appointment is highly suggested. you could consult for make up and skin care both at the same place.

Eyebrows I’ve found are the ultimate accessory. Anastasia Studio is the best — and they have helped me shape my eyebrows so that I can really accentuate my features.

I started out with Anastasia in LJ and agree w/​the other post that the girls there weren’t the friendliest. Then I found the little hidden gem in HP and am on my 3^rd person there, but my brows look fabulous EVERY time!!! I’ve only received one free lip wax and would love to have more of those combo’s as $ 35+tip for just the brows and another $ 10 for the lip is on the pricey side for me.

Alexis at the Anastasia Studio in Nordstrom at Horton Plaza is superb at eyebrow waxing! She is also a very talented make-​up artist. Alexis is very professional. Her service is impeccable, and she goes out of her way to find just what you need. I recommend her highly!

Once again I will be writing another great review for Anastasia. I mean how can you not? You leave with impeccable eyebrows every time no matter who’s doing them or what studio you’re going to, BUT this review is for Alexis in particular. I know all of these reviews are about Melissa, but Alexis is by far one of the best! I decided to stop in after hearing about their happy hour… yes I said happy hour! On certain days, during certain times you get a free lip wax when you get your brows done. AMAZINGG! After stopping in I know I’m going back whether I get a free lip wax or not!

Alexis is the new Brow Artist at Anastasia Studio-​Horton Plaza. She was prompt in returning my call and squeezing me in for an appointment. Alexis did a fantastic job in getting my brows back into shape and cleaning up «every» stray hair. An amazing difference and I look forward to having her keep my brows beautiful!

Melissa is amazing! The best brow person in SD. I live in NYC and only let Melissa touch my brows.

Melissa is the BEST PERSON IN THE WORLD for eyebrows– Do not go anywhere else. She has moved to Salon De Marcus– she isn’t at Nordstrom’s anymore.
I wouldn’t trust anyone with my eyebrows but her– moving to LA and I am still going to go to her!

My sister and I were visiting San Diego and thought that we would find a place to get our brows done I Unilocal’d and I found Anastasia and all of these great reviews for Melissa, my sister and I said we have to check her out. When we go there we had some trouble locating the small studio but once we did, we met melissa, she told us that she was booked for the rest of the evening and we said we wanted to come back tomorrow 11:45am and 12:15 apts, she fit us in the next day and my sister and I were so happy we went, she did an amazing job on our brows, she was friendly and even showed us how to fill them in properly, they looked perfect… my sister and I liked them sooo much we took pictures, she let us know what areas need to grow out, because sometime we like to think that we are professionals in the brow shaping field and then I remove too much and before you know it, we have a brow emergency!!! lol!!! Melissa was great, I was sad that we found someone soooo great on vacation… wish she was closer…

so wonderful. i arrived, breathless, five minutes after my appointment, and although melissa had a walk-​in lined up, she graciously honored the appointment. they use paraffin wax, which is more expensive, but pretty much painless. in my 10 years of getting my eyebrows waxed, i have never had a faster, more painless experience. it took approximately fifteen minutes and they were flawless. i’m definitely coming back the next time i’m in san diego.

I wish I lived in San Diego, this place would be a monthly stop.
My brows are perfect every time! Instead of just grooming your brows, she finishes them as well, so you don’t have to bring along your eyebrow pencil.
Melissa let me know that part of the Nordstrom remodel includes a new larger space for brows! Although I kinda enjoy the hidden back room that feels like exclusive secret.
Go! It is like a mini facelift!

I’ve been to both locations in San Diego. The one in La Jolla is not all it is cracked up to be and the girls are snotty. BUT the eyebrow girl at Nordstom’s Anastasia is AWESOME. This eyebrow studio is tucked away by the make-​up area right behind the purses (I hear they are going to make it bigger soon). But who cares about the glamor of the studio when you walk out looking like a beautiful eye-​brow model. If you are going to an event or looking for PERFECT BROWS I highly recommend going to the Anastasia Studio in Nordstrom at Horton Plaza. I have been coming here for years now and have NEVER walked out thinking «well they will grow and I can change what they did» Perfect brows every time. OH, and she does a great job on MEN’S BROWS TOO! If you call Nordstrom just ask to be transferred to Anastasia.
UPDATE!
So the girl who has been doing my brows forever now has moved and I had to go with her because the service at Nordstrom is just not the same without her! It really isn’t. SO if you want wonderful looking brows go right across the street to Salon De Marcus and ask for Melissa. She will have you looking fabulous in minutes. Give her a call 1−760−331−3339.
