Our Bartending Course provides comprehensive training in all aspects of mixology. Open forum lectures on procedures & techniques by experienced professional bartenders help students easily remember over 500 drink recipes while learning hands-​on behind a real bar to produce a confident & proficient entry level bartender.

The Table Games Course comprehensively trains dealers in all areas of US gaming style Blackjack/​PaiGow/​Carnival Games. Techniques include single/​double-​deck/​shoe pitch in addition to intensive training with all ShuffleMaster Machines. Procedures include opening/​closing, basic strategy, chip cutting, payoff drills, game control & security and interview/​audition strategy for each of the local indian casinos.

Our Poker course includes Texas Holdem, Stud, Omaha, Hi-​lo & Razz for cash/​tournament & structured/​spread limit styles of play. Instruction topics include handling cheques, game & dealing procedures, reading hands & game protection.

History

Established in 1980.

Starting off as AAA Bartending School, a complete casino pit with all table games and a separate poker room was added about six years ago shortly before it was taken over by the current owner. With the combined expertise of former casino pit bosses, floor supervisors and training managers as well as seasoned bartenders and bar owners and managers; AIBCD provides the most proficient entry to journeyman level bartenders and casino dealers to all ten San Diego area casinos and cardrooms and countless local bars and clubs.

Luigi P.

Business Owner

Luigi grew up in a professional card playing and started in the gaming industry over 15 years ago, dealing various pit games in Nevada Casinos and quickly became the General Manager for one of California’s hottest Dealer Schools (owned by the largest casino dealer and Bartending College in the world). He has also been contracted to open schools nationally and written curriculum course outlines to secure the permits through the gaming board for the proposed new schools.

Prior to working in the gaming industry, Luigi had a successful international career in the entertainment industry as a performer and band leader for over 35 years. Fueled by his entrepreneurial spirit, Luigi has now purchased the Academy of International Bartending and Casino Dealing. His ability to see potential others tend to overlook, has him interested in raising the stakes and elevating the school to the next level
