The workers that came out to my home were very friendly and nice. It took a lot less time than I had expected. Even when they ran into some complications, they were able to figure out a way around it and got the job done correctly, saving me money and time.

Here’s our experience.
We’ve had problems with our ac for a while. We knew there must be a leak bc our freon kept showing up as low/​empty. We’ve had to have it refilled a few times. We called AC Sure in August to have it checked once and for all. They used their gauge and assured us that no leak is detected. They didn’t have any other of their equipment to diagnose further. They charged $ 280 to refill our freon and told us they would come back for free to follow up and ensure that it was ok. So for the follow up visit this past month, it was an hour past the scheduled appt window, they’re still not here and we get no call. My husband finally calls and they say they are over 20 miles away, «stuck in traffic». We reschedule. Same thing happens again. No courtesy call, my husband has to call to find out the same thing «stuck in traffic». Finally someone shows up but can’t do anything bc they don’t have the right equipment. So then the owner comes, sees that there’s definitely and obviously a leak somewhere in our system. He says he will send someone the next day to refill our freon for free as service recovery and also to give us a report to give our HOA. And guess what, no one shows up the next day. No one calls. That was a Friday. My husband waited until Monday. We both tried calling several times and left voicemails. We did not received any call back. Thursday (one week later), I call again, one last time. I finally get an answer. They send a tech and our freon was finally refilled at no charge. They get a few stars for refilling our freon, and they seem to be nice people… But not answering our calls and not honoring our appointments (or even calling to update us) is a no no.

Great customer service from the moment you call until the completion of job! Very reasonable prices and very informative for someone that doesn’t know anything about this type of stuff.
No hidden charges and flexible scheduling, which is hard to come by these days. I definitely will recommend to my friends and family and will be using them for future needs.

If you are looking for professional AC installation, and the commitment to back up their installation, then this is the company for you!
Part I: The bid, the negotiation and the install. The bid was competitive and fully disclosed their scope of work. The owner showed up five minutes early to our appointment which immediately gave us a good impression (the other companies showed up right on time or late). The bids were all around the same range, and even though he didn’t have to (we were already going to work with him) he found a way to lower his bid a few hundred dollars to help save us money. The install workers showed up promptly and finished their work quickly. Also, the admin at the office called to make sure everything was working properly after the install. We felt really cared for and taken care of.
Part II: My husband. Yesterday our AC stopped working in our house (yes it was the hottest day of the year and San Diego was melting in heat and humidity!). It also happened to be Labor Day weekend. We called the office at 4PM on Friday. The admin said that all their people were booked up until Tuesday since they were not working Labor Day weekend! Oh no!!! I mentioned to the admin we recently had a baby and our biggest concern is our newborn is going to overheat. She said, «let me call the owner and see what we can do.» After about 15 minutes, she called us back and said the owner would personally come between 10a-​12p on Saturday and see if he could solve the problem… ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND! Wow, we were shocked and needless to say extremely grateful!
Anyway, the owner called at 5PM on Friday and asked us if we had checked the circuit breaker. I sent my husband to check it out, and my husband replied, «Circuit breakers look good.» Since that wasn’t the problem, the owner came out on Saturday at about 10:30. He checked out the AC unit, looked at the circuit breaker, flipped a few breakers, and like magic our AC unit worked again! It was the circuit breaker tripping after all… not a proud moment for my husband.
So if your looking for a company to install an A/​C properly, provide excellent customer service, and go above and beyond to make good on their work, this is the company for you! Thank you AC Sure Plan!

Iulian received my call about a year ago to bid a complete new HVAC system with ducts and all at my home, upon a major remodel that I have since completed. His pricing was very competitive, and his service was punctual and complete. Iulian is a very nice and likable guy, and we BS’d about this and that throughout the work of the project. Here I am a year later, enjoying my AC in my home in this 90+ degree heat, with no issues what so ever. Since they did such excellent work at my home, I decided to retain their services for some faulty HVAC components in my office up in Poway. The small climate controller in my server room went out, and my usual servicemen (Pacific Rim Mechanical) wanted over $ 6,000 for a replacement unit! Upon changing my service account over to AC sureplan, they promptly replaced my AC unit for only $ 2K, thus saving me $ 4K! I am now in the process of another project using them in my office for my main AC unit, and already know to expect the excellent work that I’ve become accustomed to with AC Sureplan. I highly recommend this company for HVAC work.

Julian replaced my AC unit because it was making too much noise for my downstairs neighbors. He assured me that the new unit would be much quieter and he was right.
Also, when I called about the problem, he came out that same day and is always prompt returning phone calls. Some other companies couldn’t even come out for days or weeks.
I would definitely recommend AC Sure Plan to anyone looking for an honest AC company at a good value.

I received a call last week requesting that I post my review for AC Sure Plan on Unilocal.I told the person that they really don’t want my review on Unilocal.I did not have a good experience. She understood and mentioned that she would pass on the information to the owner. Haven’t heard back from him as of yet.
So here goes… Air conditioner wasn’t working so they sent a tech out to trouble shoot. After about 30 minutes he came to the conclusion that the Freon had leaked out and that he would need to come back with the Freon later that day to run tests for any leaks and add Freon. A couple hours later someone else showed up with just the Freon and said that the system checked out OK — it most likely wasn’t due to a leak in the lines, although he didn’t run any tests or diagnostics on the system because he didn’t bring any of the equipment. Sure enough the Freon leaked out and I had to call them back to run the tests and add more Freon. Sure enough they found a leak and got it repaired before adding more Freon. And they only charge another $ 125.00 for what they were suppose to do the first visit. When I mentioned my displeasure to the crew, they looked a little embarrassed and just said, yeah, our boss is really cheap.
If you want to be:
1. Overcharged
2. Require a second visit to get the job done right
3. Be overcharged a second time
Then this is the company for you. Otherwise keep looking for a reputable company.

I’m a local business owner and I’ve been fighting with AC issues all summer. It started with a faulty vent in my drop ceiling and then after an initial evaluation from my building manager’s AC guy, I called my existing provider and he replaced something, pulled out something else, made a mess of my place, and in the end it helped but I had cool air coming out of places they weren’t supposed to. Great. So now, in addition to my already sky-​high summer SDG&E bill, the work compounded the cost issue. So I went back to the property manager and he suggested to use his provider. So that turned out to be AC Sure Plan, and they did a great job! Iuli really went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of, and in addition to providing an ACCURATE diagnostic (which included things my old provider never mentioned) and more than reasonable pricing, his communication, level of professionalism, and overall demeanor really impressed me. Long story short, I’m a happy customer and would recommend without hesitation. Keep up the good work guys!

One of the other reviewers (tali b.) made it sound like they do not charge to come out and provide an estimate of the work. This is incorrect: I called them and they want $ 75 to come out and provide a repair estimate.
After I posted this review the owner called me up and was angry that I reported the truth. He threatened me as follows: «if you do not take the review out I’m telling you that I’m going to sue you».

Ricardo showed up on time and determined the problem in a matter of minutes.
He could have charged me a fortune claiming that the unit was broken, or at least I needed to add freon. Instead he was absolutely honest with me — it was my circuit breaker that needed to be switched into the right position and nothing more. At my request, Ricardo checked my air ducts and also told me they were fine. He even brought a new air filter from his car and replaced my old one. Great service, a very pleasant person. I will be definitely recommending this company.

Last week our house was being painted. right in the middle of the heat wave. No issues. We’ll just run our AC. Until it stopped working. with all of our windows covered with plastic. Talk about zero airflow. I called the companies we usually use. It would be a week, two weeks or more before they could come out to take a look. So I got on Unilocal and started looking for an AC company with good ratings. Actually pretty hard to find. Found AC Sure Plan and called them.
Now. they were slammed like all the other companies but they were able to get someone to me the next day. He was running late so he got to me about 2 hours past my appointed time but I was kept up to date on his progress so I knew what to expect.
When he arrived — he diagnosed the issue in about 5 minutes and had it fixed and back up and running in another 10.
I will be calling these guys in a week or so to come do my yearly maintenance on my system.
Oh. and I have American Home Shield. The problem with my AC was a covered repair item but the company who they dispatched to fix the problem couldn’t get to me for a week and they had HORRIBLE ratings everywhere I checked. and AHS wouldn’t re-​dispatch to someone else. So I cancelled the service call.
If I am going to pay someone for something — I want to make sure that I give my hard earned dollars to companies who care.
This company, Ac Sure Plan. cares. Quick service. Reasonable pricing.

Called them when the weather hit 90+ degrees and AC wasn’t working. Was able to book something the next day. The technician showed up on time and found the problem fairly quickly. Paid $ 180 for less than 30 mins work and a capacitor that couldn’t cost more than $ 40. He didn’t give an estimate or advise on the charge before starting the work or installation, I guess we should have asked. Just didn’t think 30 mins work would equate to $ 120+ in service fee. Called the owner to see if we were charged correctly, Julian pretty much said flat out «It is what it is» and «Stay cool».

I disagree with some of the reviews about them showing up on time. These guys show up early every time! 1 time for estimate, 2 times for installation. Pricing is extremely fair. They are efficient and do not waste your time.
The only reason I did not give them 5 star is they did not finish the job as promised by the owner. I had to speak to Julian, the owner, to check what is going on. He, of course, sent his team out the next day and took care of it.
I recommend these guys but you need to be sure what he says goes.

I have been using these guys for 2 years now and all I can say is wow. They show up on time and know what they are doing. They service my Ac unit and my heater for $ 99 for the year. my thermostat wasnt working properly, they got that fixed for cheap. If you need AC or heating I would use for sure.

Highly recommended !!! I had a problem in the downstairs unit — I really need service fast — after opening yellow page and get discourage from the response (some told me they can come in 10 days some wanted to charge me up front for the visit), I called my friend who knows everything and everyone — she told me to call AC Sure — which I did and I am so happy I did — First — they came the following day, checked the unit — and gave me few options how to solve it, the price was reasonable, the service was great efficient friendly and honest — I even got a follow up call from them to make sure I am happy and all is working well.
I sign up with them on a service plan insurance which is awesome and will save me money in the future.
AC SURE is the BEST!
