this place is okay. definitely love the bone soup though! I’d rate their food average :) The place is pretty spacious and you’ll probably see some mess inside.

Completely serviceable Chinese/Thai food at reasonable prices. We came here on Christmas day eve and they not only were open, but were lovely, to boot, so plus 1 right there. The food was decently spiced, but a few dishes we tried were stealthily fried! The food was very salty, and I do think they use a lot of MSG(I am quite sensitive to it), but as long as you’re aware of this and can plan accordingly, you should be fine.

Their customer service is well. The food tastes authentic. I’ll be back for more. Order the tom yum soup with rice, of course. Or try their papaya salad lao style. Their phở is okay but the price is awesome

Good food, low prices One thing worth mentioning… I believe that in restaurants, the kitchen maintenance is the same as the restroom. Judging by how their restroom looks like, the kitchen should be a very scary place.

I’m not sure if it’s me but driving around San Diego a lot of the Asian restaurants offer duck. Duck soup. 7 bucks can’t complain.

This is my go to place when I want some authentic Chinese takeout. I usually get the Fried Rice Noodles with Beef and an assorted fried rice dish. The portions are generous and there is parking in the back to pick up your order. Overall, good place for the value and tastes pretty good!

This is not my first time eating here. I came here quite often and everytime I do enjoy their good food. Servers are nice and friendly, they team work pretty good while it gets to busy lunch time. Food tastes good, size is enough for 1 person. :) And price is reasonable. And the place is clean! :) I will be back

I really like 777 Noodle a House. The food is excellent and very well seasoned. The Kung Pao is easily my favorite dish. They will customize it to your likeness of spice. I have even been able to get orders to go, freeze them and take it back to Florida since it beats the Chinese I have access to. The restaurant is very large and does not feel cramped. The service is great. They don’t hurry you at all but do pay enough attention to when you need more water or are ready for the check Parking is great if you park in the alley and enter through the rear entrance. This is definitely a restaurant I like to visit when I am in town!

Everything here is delicious and super cheap. My faves: Pad thai, sour soup with cat fish, clay pot cat fish, nam tuk!!!(my #1, I get large!) Spicy basil fried rice. Beef skewers are amazing with pickled carrot & daikon. My son likes the hu tieu noodles. Customer service is on top of it. Best customer service in an Asian restaurant. They remember regulars.

The best item here is the kung pao chicken. It is in a deep red sauce and can be made very spicy. It has only chilis, peanuts, green onion, and of course chicken. When my sister comes to visit we vacuum packbit and she takes it home with her. It is my second favorite place in San Diego. The prices here are great. My husband always tries née items and is never disappointed. We always get my son soup and he loves it. The staff is always very friendly and if there is a problem they fix it immediately. This place is a must try for all.

777 Noodle House deserves much more recognition because they’re serving up some really delicious food! I came here for lunch with some co-workers and there was no wait. Service was really quick. My favorite item of the meal was their shaken beef dish. I’ve tried shaken beef from multiples places in LA, OC, and SD and this shaken beef dish is by far my favorite hands down. The beef was extremely tender and flavorful. I would come back here just for this dish alone. Parking is very hard to find and you’ll just have to park on the streets.

… Chinese food… Fried chicken… $ 14 for enough food for three meals?.. 8 pieces of fried chicken for $ 6 is insane. The chicken looks like it was a chicken that ate chicken… The spicy thai beef noodle was good. A little on the light side in regards to spice despite being a 6⁄10. Honestly, get the fried chicken no matter what you order. Absolutely bananas.

Was invited here for dinner with friends. Started off with fried chicken which was very crispy and good. Ate multiple dishes and all of them where fresh and tasted good. Service was prompt and courteous. I enjoyed my dinning experience here and recommend this place if you are craving asian food.

To those who are crying that their food wasn’t like a Michelin star restaurant and served by a glitter spitting unicorn. Get a grip seriously? Look at the price you’re paying. It’s pretty legit for under $ 10 for a huge entrée. One of the best cheap Asian restaurants I have ever eaten at! Fresh, flavorful food with amazing service. Nothing is priced over $ 10 and the portions are GIGANTIC! The beef spicy noodles and bone soup are to die for. The place looks ghetto but don’t let that fool you. This place is a diamond in the rough!

Surprised I never wrote a review on this place! I first discovered this place when my cable guy friend did their cable. This is not the fanciest place but it’s not supposed to be. Some of the best Asian foods are in the ghetto! They have one of the best Cambodian/Chinese foods. I actually prefer this place than compared to Trie Chu which is across the street. I’ve been going there since I was a little kid too. I always get the Spicy Thai fried noodles or the Chow fun with sauce. I also get a bone soup on the side and the fried wings. The fried wings are probably one of the best if not the best salt and pepper style fried wings! Even better than Golden Chopsticks in National City.

We were in the area for the temple nearby and decided to check this place out since one of my girlfriends said she loved the noodles here. I usually go to Trieu Chau across the street for my migahtang(cambodian chow fun noodles) but I decided to check this place out. We entered from the back because the parking lot is in the back and were told to seat ourselves. They got us the menus and it had photos to include as well, which was helpful because the menu was written in 3 different languages. My husband always wants the phnom penh noodles because I make them at home for him, so he got that. Turns out it tastes nothing like phnom penh noodles and the broth was very greasy. They also put out the bean sprouts to put in the soup and it was dead. The bean part of the sprouts were black instead of a nice yellow color. I got the migahtang I was craving(the chow fun) and the beef tasted like it was a few days old, not fresh at all. The noodles were ok and the sauce wasn’t great. They also gave us scissors with our waters, not sure why? But it was rusted and I felt uncomfortable having it by the food. I ordered the shrimp fried rice for my kids to split and the shrimp still had the veins in it, they didn’t de-vein it at all, which is something I take the time to do at home when I cook. I got the thai iced tea and it was decent, lots more half and half than the tea. My husband got the vietnamese coffee and it didn’t taste right. I spent $ 35 here and honestly wished I went across the street, because if it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it. Stick with a restaurant you like. I rarely ever come to City Heights so I didn’t know, now I know, and knowing is half the battle…

I had an interesting experience here at the 777, I ordered the Bún Tht Nng Ch Giò or charbroiled pork, and an egg roll served over rice vermicelli, and an order of shrimp and pork spring rolls which were around $ 4. The Bún, if I remember correctly cost around $ 8. The spring rolls were okay and came generously filled with veggies, not the shrimp and pork, but they need to be sure to properly clean the mint because I did not appreciate biting into a number of woody stems. Also, the amount of pork in the rolls was minimal and did not impact the roll in anyway. The Bún was short of a disaster. First of all, the vermicelli was to thick and over done which made it mushy, to soft, and not enjoyable to eat. To make matter worse, it had a soapy quality to it, as if it was rinse with a soupy water. I literally smell soap and taste like it too, and when I told the waitress, her response was simply said that it was the way they make it there. Okay, but that sure does not make sense to me. The crushed peanuts on top were a nice touch, but not enough to deter the uneatable vermicelli. To make a long story short, I did not eat the noodles nor the veggies below. The charbroiled pork on top was okay, but it was not charbroiled, I could easily tell it was deep fried by it dark color and chewy and crunchy texture. It tasted good, but it was over done and not tender at all. The egg roll was the best thing that I ate during my experience. It had a very good crunchy exterior with a nice tender filling inside of ground pork, glass noodles, and some vegetables. I do not know what happen to those noodles, and sincerely hope that is not the way they make them, because if so, I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon.

Randomly stumbled on this place one night when we were super hungry and craving Thai food! Our go-to things here are the basil chicken and combination spicy noodles and the occasional soup. The servers are quick and swift especially because we always seem to show up 30 minutes before closing. They remember you and are so good at their service. The food is fresh, delicious and mouth watering full of fresh holy basil! Just wish it would stay open later and add some mango Thai sticky rice on the menu!

Don’t let the looks of the neighborhood fool ya, it was well worth the trip for this fresh and healthy food. It looks small from the front but when you go inside the place is very roomy and is great for larger groups. We were immediately greeted and got a table and food very quickly. Two of my top recommendations: 1. The veggie noodle soup –perfect for a cool grey day and very satisfying as the portion is large. Well worth the $ 5.77 and even tastier with a dash or Sriracha and sot sauce mixed in 2. The fresh spring rolls Large portion of two fresh rolls with shrimp and pork inside. Delicious with the dipping sauce There is free parking in the back of the restaurant and also plenty of street parking as well Menu it is very extensive so you could literally try a new dish every day for a month and not repeat your order.
