I used to love coming to this panda express but recently the food has just been terrible. The fried rice no longer has any taste and the portions are horrendous. More times than usual the food taste like it’s been their the whole day with some noodles being hard as a rock. Despite my notification of letting them know their rice has lost it’s flavor nothing has been done to remedy it. I’d rather eat at Waba Grill next door or just head to the Chula Vista location for their much fresher food. Don’t support business’s like this that don’t try to improve the quality of their food when it’s obvious with the most recent reviews that something has gone astray.

Customer service here sucks. They’re rude nobody has a smile on their face. But you want $ 15 an hour to be a a lamo. How about no!

The food at this location is tasteless, with small portions and expensive prices. They trust no one and want ID to pay for your lunch with a credit card. Will never go back. Awful!

I really used to like Panda Express — who cares if it’s not authentic and unhealthy — it’s fried and how can you mess up fried fast food? They did last night and I got to experience service with a scowl. The line moved slowly(there were only 2 people in front of us) and when we got to the front I told the girl I wanted rice so she started giving me the fried rice(I didn’t realize that was their default). I immediately said ‘Sorry, I meant steamed.’ She actually rolled her eyes and just dumped the scoop she had put in the box back in the vat of fried rice then huffed over to the steamed rice. She then testily asked if I needed anything else. No, thank you, angry lady. We got home and the food was not hot. The orange chicken, which I remembered being delicious, was kind of chewy and not very flavorful. The steamed rice must’ve been sitting in the rice vat for some time as I got lots of hard chewy bits(at least I’m hoping the hard chewy bits were rice and not toenails). My poor husband opened his box to realize they had given him the order of the guy behind him. At least he partly enjoyed his surprise dinner. About a half hour after eating I felt really icky. Not like I was going to be sick icky, just like I really regret eating that food and feel incredibly unhealthy icky. Would’ve given it two stars had the service even been mediocre but the constant scowling and order mess up was annoying. Won’t be going to Panda again! :(

I hate when restaurants raise prices and cut portions. Seriously do one or the other. Everything I come into this Panda their portions get smaller and their prices go up. The quality of the food is poor, rarely is anything fresh. Chicken is usually chewy and the beef is so old and dried out it takes like deep fried fat covered in sauce. No real texture to the meat. As for the chow mein the keep adding more and more veggies to cut down on the noodles. There are many of other places where you can get more food for less. The employees are never overly friendly. They just wait for you to tell them what you want, no personality. The restaurant is always clean on the inside, the only upside to this place. I would say unless you are really craving Panda venture elsewhere.

This place is a fast food chinese joint not no sit down gourmet spot so you expect to be there in and out 15 minutes tops. I show up 3 out of the 8 entrees were empty which I presumed they were cooking up again for it seems like a normal protocol for some simple ass fast food chinese restaurant. They told me it is a 7 minute wait for one of these items. Sure I don’t mind waiting but when it’s been 40 minutes after you’ve ordered some simple ass fast food it’s kinda annoying. Yall step up yalls communication skills I mean those fuckin cooks are right there say somethin! They didn’t even offer an apologie or coupons or some shit the hells their customer services? Other than that food is on point but the duration of time waiting left a bitter taste in my mouth for this spot.

Chow mein tastes like dry bar soap and the Orange chicken tastes dry and really spicy. I’m confused with how bad their food is at this location and how rude the servers were.

Pressed for time with an empty stomach I decided to chop on some panda express. Ordered my usual, Shanghai steak, chicken teriyaki, and fried rice. However, this location butchered my go-to order. The 5 small pieces of steak I paid extra for, were hidden by all the mushrooms. Usually tender, this order rivaled beef jerkey. It was tough. The rice, undercooked and hard. The chicken was spot on and tasted fine. Lazy cooks dishing out subpar meals means a customer lost. I’ll be driving to another location next time.

The first time i came in and ordered steamed white rice it was undercooked. I thought it was fluke so i decided to give them another chance. Today the rice is again undercooked. Id give a one star but their chicken(firecracker & orange) is cooked the way i like it. So next time im getting chow mein instead.

I give 2 stars only for the nice cashier! The food at this location sucks worse then 20 day old panda shipped in from China! Anyways! I know it’s fast food, but you gotta have a standard… The chow mein noodles were so dry, the rice was practically burnt, the orange chicken was soggy not to mention the sweet and sour pork was just terrible BLAH

Busy location during lunch hours and they still served me quickly, food was pretty good and as good as any panda express locations food is going to get. Nice employees who are fast with all aspects of the transaction. I tried the sweet fire chicken or something like that, with orange chicken, and chow mein. Good enough to get five stars I’d say.

I don’t understand why this particular Panda gets so many bad reviews. I went right before closing and Karina who was working was nice even though there was a long line. I work in customer service and I know that feeling of wanting to go home and just feeling annoyed with customers coming in right before closing, but she did her job as well as the rest of her team members. I’m glad I came in even after reading the reviews. I like supporting places as well as people who do their job right!

I didn’t have the same bad experience with customer service that a few others have mentioned. In fact, I would probably come to this same location again based on his great the customer service was. When we were unsure what to order, the staff was extremely helpful in explaining some of the subtle differences in the menu items. They also let us try a few entrees(I know this is regular business practice) but they didn’t seem bothered that we were taking up their time. The food was pretty standard, but no complaints at all. If my next experience is anything like this, I will definitely keep coming to this same location. I recommend at least trying this place, and hopefully it will surprise you like it surprised me.

We are usually regulars here but customer service 9 out of 10 times is horrible the girl at the register is forever copping a attitude not my fault you work in fast food. Today we had to wait 30 mins for our food had 2 or 3 other customers complain even people asking for a refund. Love panda but will prolly go to another location from now on

My friend and I tried their firecracker chicken breast yesterday. It was freshly made, but a little too greasy. They had some nice decorations in celebration for the Lunar New Year. She also had a cup of their hot and sour soup, but didn’t finish it. After I dropped her off, my stomach felt queasy. I threw up a couple hours later. Never having that again. What was I thinking?!

Listen to the lower ratings for this panda, I didn’t. Customer service is sub par, portions are small and it seems pricer than the other places. The cashier was very short with me and didn’t bother to ask if I wanted anything to drink. I also had to ask three times for an egg roll. The food however, was on par with what you’d expect from Panda Express, it was clean inside despite the area and I was in and out in less than ten minutes.

In general, I like Panda Express. Though it’s Americanized-Chinese food, it’s tasty and fun to eat once in awhile. I enjoy the orange chicken, beijing beef, fried chow mein, and beef and broccoli. Those are my favorite entrees. I dislike this particular location though. The prices are slightly higher than other Panda Expresses. A panda bowl will cost you $ 5.70($ 5.29+tax) and a 3-entrée plate will be($ 7.54+tax). Not only that, the portions are very stingy. They give you the smallest amount of food they can get away with. It’s barely enough for one person — barely fill the rice or chow mein, barely give you much entrée. And they won’t give you chopsticks unless you ask. Panda Expresses at the mall offer a much more reasonable portion size. Recommendations: Skip this location. They want to cut corners. Don’t be fooled by the large layout and the way it looks clean, and decorated. Though it may be one of the nicer Panda Expresses interior wise, the price, skimping on food, and general lack of care will leave you dissatisfied and wishing you had chosen to go Panda-ing elsewhere.

Whoa… that’s a lot of negativity down there. Let me first start by saying that if you don’t agree with the style of business, don’t patronize it. Ok moving on, Yes I will admit that Panda is not what I would consider the most authentic Chinese fare. I have experienced more authentic many times and I think they both have their place in the world. What Panda offers is a consistent experience. I have order a 2 entrée plate with chow mein, orange chicken and beijing beef more times than I can count and they have been consistently identical. On my most recent visit to this location the only thing I’d really ding them for was that they appeared to be a little understaffed, but it really didn’t bother me too much since the employees that were working were friendly and clearly working as fast as they could. On the pricing/value front I would rate Panda above average. I am typically able to feed two people a decent size meal for about $ 12. If you are looking for authentic Chinese fare I would say that you have to check what your own personal definition of authentic is. If you simply want a delicious meal, Panda has you covered :-)
