Specialties
A multi-service personal entity specializing in physical training and performance art all over San Diego. I operate out of my studio space in Mira Mesa where I have the bulk of my equipment for personal training, corrective exercise, and Olympic Weightlifting. I also am a Yoga instructor, and class times and locations will be listed on my website if currently running. As a performance artist and teacher my role is a bit more dynamic, and could involve me being hired at my hourly rate as a teacher, or booked as a Fire Performer at parties, special events, or festivals. I always encourage personal calls and texts to answer any more specific questions as I do offer a lot of different services.
I have certifications and continue education in the following:
NASM — Personal training and corrective exercise Specialist
Pranavayu 200hr Yoga school
USA Weightlifting Sports Performance in Clean, Jerk, Snatch
Thousands of hours of supplementary arts such as Tai Chi, Qi Qong, Kung Fu, Aerials, Acrobatics, Acro-Yoga, Flow Arts, Fire Arts
History
Established in 2014.
5 Element Fitness was started in 2014, however I have been operating in San Diego as a trainer and group exercise instructor since March of 2012. I still teach Yoga classes at locations all over such as LA Fitness, Fit X Fitness, and Northrop Grumman Corporation, in addition to training out of my home base of The New Breed Fitness in Mira Mesa.
People compartmentalize the body too much. People spend all their time and energy on one focus. That isn’t balance. 5 Element Fitness was started on the philosophy of a thorough approach to mind/body development. It can accomplish many goals, it has no specific form but rather depends on the individual. Strengthening, Conditioning, Healing, Performance Demonstration, Art are all things one might come to 5 Element Fitness to explore.

Nicholas C.
Business Owner
5 Element Fitness is basically Nick/Nicholas Capobianco. I moved here from Boston in 2012 with high ambitions to change people’s way of thinking on the West Coast about Health and Fitness. Somewhere along the way I also started throwing balls of fire to captivate and inspire. I felt that my diverse skill set could simply not be contained by the average box club gym, so although I still teach Yoga classes all over I operate independently from my home base in Mira Mesa at The New Breed Fitness Studio. Since moving here in March 2012 and not knowing a single person I have been welcomed into the community and established a large social network. I have trained and helped people from as young as 16 and as old as 84 transform their bodies and fix injuries. I have dazzled crowds with performances from Northern California all the way to Mexico.
