Rohan & Sons

Terrible! These guys should definitely be at the bottom of the list when looking for an air conditioning service provider. They over charge for very poor work. They are hostile and unwilling to correct mistakes. There are many options to choose from in San Clemente… these guys should not be one of them.

I have used Rohan and Sons for years. We own a few rental properties in addition to our home. The guys fix everything for more than reasonable prices. Prior to finding them through a friend I relied on yahoo and Unilocal to find other ac/​furnace repair companies. They all wanted to charge way too much or always wanted to up sell me into buying new units or more expensive repairs. These guys are top notch.
I recommend them to everyone I know. Honest businessmen. One of the many reasons they have been around for decades. Thanks guys!

These guys are the best. Fast, courteous, and competent. Dean always finds a way to accommodate us. Cool guys. Highly recommended.

Had to have a 60 year old furnace replaced and through a word of mouth recommendation called Rohan & Sons. They sent someone within the hour to give me an estimate which was very reasonable. They completed the job in ²¹⁄₂ days and couldn’t have been more professional, thoughtful and polite. It required at least 3 servicemen at a time who had to be in and out of the house and attic frequently. They always used drop cloths and a vacuume and couldn’t have kept things cleaner and less intrusive.
Wish I could give more than 5 stars… it was a beast of a job… thank you Rohan & sons!

They did an amazing job! Rohan and Sons is the recommended heating and ac company for the Chapman Commons. I was having some problems with my Hydronic Coil and they replaced it… fast!!! I have spoken to John Rohan a few times and is very professional and makes sure that all of his customers are taken care of. I would recommend Rohan and Sons to anyone in my complex and emphasize on how they make you feel apart of their family.

Beware! This company did an air conditioning install on a new house and they made such of mess of it the unit was placed on backwards and the hoses wrapped around and taped so terribly they cracked and broke in the sun. When they were called to repair the unit, they said it needed to be replaced, and took the old unit away. All without explaining the new unit was going to be $ 5,000. When we balked at the price and refused to get a new unit, of course they kept the old unit and now I am not even sure if it was broken.
The kicker is come the following winter our heating unit also stopped working which they had also installed. When we called another company to repair, they dumbfoundedly announced someone has stolen parts from the heating unit and that is why it would not work.
I know auto repair places that used to «break something» so you would need to come back but this was really a low blow.
Beware! I suspect other reviews here must be friends and not customers.

I could some up the quality of work and service in one word Awesome. But that’s not enough. Rohan & Sons cares about their customers concerns and is willing to take the extra initiative to insure satisfaction. This company is a complete package, professional, courteous, and dedicated. With the vast amount of Heating and Air Companies in the surrounding area its difficult to recognize the best. I can recommend from experience that disappointment will not come from the service of Rohan & Sons and their associates.

I just had my first experience with Rohan & Sons per a friends referral. We are extremely happy with the way we were treated. John was a dear heart and had Tom come out the next day. Tom was excellent and very professional and found the problem right away. Tom came back today after getting the part from the dealer and repaired our furnace and we are so pleased with the service I can’t wait to tell more people how wonderful they are. I felt very comfortable form the beginning and when you call you get a real person not a recorder.

Rohan & Sons has been servicing my a/​c for years now and I appreciate that I can trust them. They are always fair with me and take care of my issue quickly… which means a lot to me! Thanks to Dean and his team for taking such good care of me! Local guys that you can count on… you rock!

I have been using Rohan & Sons for the past 15 years. I felt all should know what a pleasure it is to do business with such a great group. John is a super nice guy and his son Dean is the best, not only are they the most honest A/​C company I have ever dealt with, they are also fun to work with. Dean never leaves without making me laugh my butt off. They make you feel like part of the family. I can call them with an A/​C emergency at my business and they are always same day. 5 Stars for sure!!!
