You can’t beat this Fedex. This is the best location I’ve been to around the country. From receiving shipments to shipping to packing and printing — they always go out of their way to help and provide best advice on how to ship and print. The folks have literally stood by me for 20 mins to figure out printing wedding invites.

Continually disappointed in their service.

I use this FedEx as my «home office,» usually just to print stuff. I’m too cheap to buy my own printer and then keep buying ink every month… so I just wander downtown and do my printing here, usually for about a dime a page. They’ve been nothing but pleasant to work with, and are always very helpful when a printer malfunctions. The few jobs I’ve actually dropped off for more elaborate printing have been done quickly, cost-​effectively and with quality results. There have been occasions when a copier will go down for a few days, which is inconvenient — like everyone else in San Clemente, nobody here is ever particularly urgent about anything. I can see how they might not be the place to go for an urgent ASAP kind of job… but for the vast majority of casual print and copy needs, they’re just fine. Plus, they sell M & M’s, which is always good while waiting in line. Speaking of which, I go in about 3 – 4 times a week, and very rarely see a line of more than 1 – 2 folks at the shipping counter. So really, gang, nothing to hate here.

They are kinda slow with the service here, but when you do finally het helped, they are all super friendly.
They do a good job with walk in prints, as well as the online orders. I just pocked up my online orders and they came out great.
Note that they do not do full bleed printing. Does any Fed Ex do that?

Awful. Do yourself a favor and just drive to the one in San Juan Capistrano. That’s what I do now and I live right down the street from the one in San Clemente. I took a chance tonight because I just needed to drop off an envelope to go out via overnight. Walk in to a line… I’m 10 minutes before pick up which shouldn’t be a problem if I could have just filled out a label form, but instead they have little pieces of paper for you to write the address and than the person at the register prints the label out. What a pain. I don’t know what it is with this location, but they are SLOW. So. Very. Slow. I waited in line and got up to the front just as the delivery driver walks away I ask her if my package still can make it and she tells me no. Fabulous. 15 minutes of life wasted in that freaking line. I ended up having to drive to San Juan since their pick up is later and was able to drop my package off there. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with shipping and trying to pay for print jobs. A real disappointment considering I use their print services frequently. Thank goodness the San Juan Capistrano one is dependable.

I went there to return a pre paid package. The item I was returning packed in the original packaging that FedEx sent it to me in. A young man named «AJ» helped me. He carelessly took the package and slammed it with both hands on to the scale and then pressed it against the scale before releasing his weight for the scale to read. Afterward there was a tear in my box in the shape of the corner of the scale. He then says «I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to poke a hole in the box, but this box isn’t fit for shipping.» I informed him that it was the same box that was shipped to me so obviously it survived. He didn’t want to ship the box but I finally convinced him to tape up the hole that HE caused and ship the box. He did nothing to hide that he was upset and threw some tape on and mumbled either «this box is going to make it but not the contents» or the contents are going to make it without the box”. If the postage wasn’t pre paid I would’ve went anywhere else.
I think this place deserves a 1.5 star but that was not an option and I rounded up in good faith.

Let me start by saying that I would have given this zero stars if it were an option. I am actually flabbergasted by my recent experience at this service center. I had heard comments that weren’t so positive online and from friends in San Clemente, but I still gave it a try given the convenient location. After wasting about 3 hours yesterday I left very frustrated, disappointed and amazed at the lack of service and awful attitude displayed during my second visit.
My experience started in the morning with a meeting with one of their staff members. My team and I walked through what we needed printed, bound, etc. We went through the #‘s and quality of paper we wanted to use. Our price quote was $ 850, which seemed reasonable. We left to get our electronic files.
We returned in the afternoon and unfortunately our initial contact was no longer working. So we approach a very snarly older lady, who I sense is the store manager. It was evident from the moment that we walked in that we were an inconvenience. Some of the snide comments were surprising to me, but we trudged ahead anyway. Then we engaged with another guy working there, who started working on our quote. We told him what we were told earlier and he said that those numbers were a mistake. Our price went from $ 850 to $ 2,100! He definitely demonstrated a ‘not my problem” attitude when she shared that we had already communicated the quote to our client for approval. He basically said the «other guy» makes mistakes and must have in this case too. When I told him we would find another vendor, he panicked a little and said that their bid department would call us to workout a better discount. A little too late.
I could continue on with this feedback, but looking at the other negative comments posted and the lack of FedEx trying to improve the customer experience, I will save my breath. The learning here is this, check Unilocal first!

I went here back in November of 2012 to get a Princess Ariel and Prince Eric picture for my birthday cake. I didn’t really know how big to make the picture and whatnot so when I came in this lady greeted me and her name was Karen. She asked me what I needed and then pointed me toward the computer area. Karen had just finished telling me that she had just start there and was new at this whole experience herself, so she sat next to me and even though she said she was new she was extremely pleasent and very helpful. We both looked at the pictures online until I found the one I wanted and then karen told me which size to print and whatnot. The picture came out way too big the first time so we kept trying until we got the right size. we were both new at this and at the end we both learned something as well as to which size was best. Karen was very friendly and made the experience a pleasent one. I will be coming back again for my printing needs again just because of this experience. Thanks Karen!

what is it with FedexKinkos not listening to the answer after they’ve asked a question? I honestly left because this was the second Fedex I went to the same day with the same *glorious* service.

went to fedex this morning. I really was having difficulty transfering pictures to a thumb drive. Lori and another female employee came to my rescue, spending more than two hours helping me with what seemed to be a very difficult task. Not only were they both unbelileveably helpful, they did so with a smile and had the ability to not make me feel like I was stupid. In sixty years of living, I cannot recall an experience where the employees were so helpful. Thanks again, and of course I will be back.

Would never go back to the fed ex off del mar. It took 45 minutes to finally send my package, every customer in line was complaining about how slow the assistant manager named Lori was. Finally when I got to the counter 30 min. Later she said unfortunately I have to check in all these packages First before I help u. So then I wait another 15 min! Meanwhile three other fed ex employees are joking around being very unprofessional with nothing to do. Its unbelievable to me how a store could have so many employees on the clock working with nothing to do while a huge line is forming with one, ONLY ONE packaging counter and attendant! Craziness. I complained to Lori and in turn she said well then go to the post office if you think they are faster with a complete attitude. Extremely rude. Customer service and overall quickness of the fedex San Clemente del mar is a joke. Will NEVER go back there.

So this one is located on a cute busy street for SC and has ample parking. The folks that work here are so delighted to be at work. They danced around singing Disney songs and give each other high fives! It was amazing. My little boy laughed the whole time in delight. Wow! I love this place…
