History

Established in 2003.

DryFast was founded in 2001 started as a professional carpet and upholstery cleaning company providing services to residential and commercial clients. In 2003 our services extended to property restoration, after contentious education and attracting experienced professionals to join DryFast.

We stepped into the restoration field as General building contractors rebuilding properties, providing structural drying, water, fire and mold restoration services, now with 4 locations in 2 States.

We have established a national catastrophe response division that travels around the country to help those in need.

We continuously provide training and education to our technicians, project, operations and office managers to keep up with the ever changing standards and procedures and be able to provide you with the latest technology in the restoration industry, knowledge and quality service.

After being in the Army for 2 years I began working in the cleaning and restoration industry. In 2003, I decided to open my own restoration company and that is when I started DRYFAST Property Restoration. I’m certified in Water Damage Restoration, Fire and Smoke Damage, Mold Remediation, Commercial Carpet Maintenance, Carpet Cleaning, Odor Removal, Certified to Conduct LEAD-​Based Paint Activities and Renovation, Certified Home Inspector and AIR-​CARE, Certified for Air Duct Cleaning & Decontamination

Ignore the bad reviews from 2010… it’s 2014 and DryFast is amazing (really read the recent reviews. All high ratings.) And with good reason: Georgio, the manager (owner?) is the most honest, nicest, hard working guy in the business.
Washing machine flooded multiple floors of our house. DryFast came really quickly, and gave an estimate and a promise that the estimate would stay even if we needed to rent machines for extra days. He said he prices by the job, not by days.
They dried out the house and really cared about us, the homeowners. They were very happy to explain everything and answered our questions in depth. They started conservative then came back to check the next day. When that wasn’t working, they ended up cutting dry wall to ensure ventilation.
And the attention to detail: They take their shoes off before coming in. They stage the equipment at your door so they don’t have to leave it open for long periods of time. When I had to talk to my insurance to make sure I could use them, they waited in the car so as to not bother us! When it seemed like I couldn’t use them (after they’d moved all the equipment to our house) they didn’t complain at all: they just said they’d have to charge the $ 161 visit fee. No complaints or hardsells even after moving everything into our house! (We did end up using them.)
After cutting the dry wall, they vacuumed everything to keep the dust down.
If your house should flood call these guys. At your worst moment (ah my house is ruined!) these guys will make you feel better with their amazing customer service and know-​how.

Honest and friendly service! There needs to be more businesses like DryFast. These guys are honest, comprehensive, and and very friendly.
I came home last night to find bathroom had been flooded and it leaked out to the carpet in the hall. The toilet was clogged and the water was due to a malfunctioning toilet valve that didn’t stop the flow of water. No real dry wall damage, but I was concerned about mold and mildew building up in the carpet.
I called DryFast and told Georgio about my situation. He gave me a worst case scenario based on my poor description of the problem. At this point, I was mentally prepared to spend at least $ 500 to get my carpet dried, cleaned, and sanitized.
Upon arriving, Georgio took out his handy moister meter and assessed the situation. His prognosis? Since it wasn’t a toilet back up, not too much to worry about. In fact, he recommended I simply let it air dry and eventually shampoo the carpet. No real cause for alarm it would seem. And he didn’t even charge me a dime! I always appreciate businesses that are honest enough to recommend to their customers what’s best for the customer, not what’s best for the business’ bottom line.
Thank you for giving me all the information I needed. But most importantly, thank you for the piece of mind.

I was referred to Dry Fast for carpet cleaning from a friend. I did my homework and read the reviews on Unilocal but all the reviews are from 2010. So I went with my friend’s recommendation and decided to give them a try. Dryfast is GREAT. They called to confirm the morning of my appointment. The tech called to confirm 2 hours before the appointment. Dryfast was RIGHT ON TIME. I have a very large condo and was worried they were going to raise the price once they saw how many stairs I have to get to my carpets. They didn’t. The Tech proceeded to work and clean my carpets and explained the process as he went. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. There were a couple spots that were yellow that they were upfront and HONEST saying no one could get those out, but they tried. One of the breakers tripped (my fault) in my condo during the cleaning leaving no power to the downstairs and I couldn’t reset it. The Tech merely ran an extension cord to an area that had power, put on a headlamp and kept working in the dark. My carpets got cleaned just like they said, right when they said. Its rare these days for great customer service and people that go beyond the call of duty. DRYFAST did a great job. I HIGHLY recommend Dryfast Property restoration.

they came late! they made promises they cannot keep ! like a report I’d receive detailing what they found ! they never sen it. I called them repeatedly with no response. THIS IS A TERRIBLE BUSINESS! I have filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau as well

I set up an appointment for 1:30 in the afternoon. The person with whom I made the appointment was very courteous and told me the company policy is to allow a two hour window, but that he tends to be punctual. Never in my life has a two hour window meant two hours before and two hours after, but apparently it does with DryFast. I arranged my work day (I work from home) for a 1:30 meeting with DryFast. At 12:50 when I was in the middle of an important long-​distance conference call, they rang the doorbell. I had to put the phone down and go to the door to remind them our appointment was at 1:30 and that I couldn’t receive them until then. They promised to come back, but at 2:00 still hadn’t showed up, so I called the company. I was told that if I wanted them to come back, now the estimate would cost me $ 35. THE NERVE OF THEM. They show up 40 minutes early and then «punish» me by telling me I have to PAY THEM FOR A FREE ESTIMATE.
This is an outrage. Whoever messed up on my appointment time should have been held responsible for the error. With customer service akin to blackmail, I shudder to think of what would have happened had I actually hired them to do the work in my house. Steer clear of DryFast!

We found mold that was forming from a mysterious leak in our home, and called DryFast Mold Remediation after seeing one of their vans driving back late one evening after work. What impressed me was that one of their managers picked up our call at 7PM for the after-​hour answer, rather than some paging service. He immediately listened to my concerns and scheduled time for one of his guys to come out. Their staff is very professional and go out of their way to come out to assess the level of damage. They provided a quote right away, and they provided advice that we needed to work with our insurance.

If ever there was a misleading name for a business, this is it. I had my sofa cleaned 12 hours ago and, guess what, it is still damp. WET, even, in places. This despite the fact that the room has been heated to 80 degrees all day. And the chemical smell is horrible. My Boston Terrier has retired to the bedroom in disgust.
The prices are very reasonable … $ 119 for cleaning the sofa, but the results are mediocre. You get what you pay for, right? My dog wishes I hadn’t been such a tightwad.

this review is pressure washing on residential exterior and driveway.
The first time in 10 years since we bought the house, we had exterior pressure washing. we are very happy with the result. all spider cobs are gone. the house looks brighter. we got two other bids from local pressure washing companies. but their quotes were much higher and i am glad i found DryFast. we got the service done in less than 48hours since my first call. they called a day before to confirm an appointment. very nice operation for reasonable price!

If I could give this place a zero star, I would.
I got a call from them the day before my appointment to «confirm». Long story short, no one showed up. I talked to two people including the manager and had to listen to them lie for 20 minutes going on and on about the fact I didn’t have an appointment. Until finally, they admitted that they saw my appointment on the schedule (after I told them I still had the confirmation voicemail on my cellphone!!). They told me a new employee didn’t inform the technician about it. To pour salt in the wound, they felt «it wasn’t their fault» since the employee was new and didn’t know the proper protocol.
Ok, my parents own a small business, if we make a mistake, we take responsibility, apologize, and try to make it up to the customer. They took zero responsibiltiy for their mistake. I took time off work and it was a complete waste of time!
The worst customer service I’ve experienced. If you have a new employee, it’s your responsibility to properly train them. If they make a mistake, you need to fix it.
This place is terrible. Huge waste of time. Complete frustation dealing with them and they lied.

After a mishap lit my apartment on fire, my insurance company suggested ServePro but my landlord insisted on DryFast. The supervisor seemed like he knew what he was doing, so when they gave us a sky high estimate I figured they must be really good at what they do. Not the case.
First, they took a week longer than they first said because they couldn’t get the paperwork in order. Once they began the work, they treated my things with disrespect, destorying some things, breaking other things and damaging still others.
It is clear that they do not train the men who do the actual work. Even after several very specific and polite requests, they did not take care with fragile things and now I have lost more than just what was taken by the fire.
They might be very good in a flood, but their fire service has been adding insult to injury.

The guy who came to clean was super nice, but the work was shoddy. Our carpet was pretty trashed so we had high hopes. He said he wasn’t going to be able to get all the stains out, but he didn’t try very hard. Hate to criticize him, because maybe he wasn’t trained properly, but our carpet really didn’t look much different. I’ve seen trashed carpets look like new after cleanings and this was not the case with Dry Fast. Would not recommend them unless your carpet still looks almost new.

The reason i called this company was more because they offered cleaning carpets using only Green Products. Also, they apparently work on Sundays which is something unheard of but good if you can only spare weekends.
I negotiated $ 100 to clean carpets in 2 rooms, which i initially think was reasonable. For some reason when the guy was supposed to show up, i get a call from him 30 minutes late confirming my address. The address he apparently had was for South San Francisco, whereas i had made sure while getting the appointment they had got it correct. That just makes for late arrival. When it come to the quality of job done, I’m highly unsatisfied. For some reason i don’t think green products works as effectively. I still have a few minor stains on the carpets after it all drying up. I’m not sure if i will use the services of this company again.

Dry Fast, hmmm. They came at 1pm, left at 2. They cleaned my 2 year old daughters room and our master bedroom carpet. They said the carpets would be dry in 4 – 6 hours. It’s 10pm and our carpets are still very damp. Carpets did not come that clean. I have to sleep in this room, and my eyes are watering, and there is a heavy chemical smell. I wonder what they really used to clean, it does not seem safe for my toddler! She is not sleeping in her room tonight.

— First they never called to confirm the appt so I wasn’t sure if they were going to show. Just a minor annoyance, but it got worse from there.
— Pulled the old bait n’ switch, quoting one price then it being significantly more expensive when they arrived. Woman on phone swore I didn’t tell her it was a sectional (as opposed to a regular sofa) when I know I was abundantly clear and that she had even repeated it back to me.
— Cleaning guy showed up with stuff to clean leather even though I discussed with the woman that it is microfiber. He proceeded to tell me he doesn’t know what microfiber is.
— I got back on the phone with the woman and clarified exactly what the material is and what the directions that came with the couch say («Only water-​free dry cleaning solvents may be used… The use of steam or water based cleaners may cause excessive shrinking or staining…»). She assured me they did not plan to use steam of any kind.
— Guy came back from his vehicle with, you guessed it, a steam cleaner.
— I called back to cancel and was told she «is glad I am canceling» and gave me attitude about how many hundreds of couches they have cleaned successfully but if I am «that uncomfortable» then it is better they don’t work with me.
Incredibly unprofessional and certainly didn’t give me the confidence that they know what they are doing. I was eager to get my couch cleaned, but unfortunately could not trust my furniture in their hands.

They came and gave an estimate for carpet repair. I scheduled the repair, stayed home from work; they called near the end of the 2 hour window to say they wouldn’t make it. I can’t bring myself to do business with people like this.

Great customer service, unbelievable reasonable rates. For two bedrooms and my entire living/​dining area (about 1100sq. feet) they charged me $ 124 and this includes applying a Dupont protector on the entire living/​dining and hallway. The person who showed up was polite and courteous and very professional. I’d use them again and recommend them to a friend. I only wish they did outside windows!

Poor all around. This is my very first Unilocal review and I wish it was because I’d just found the best shawerma this side Divisidero and I want to tell the world. Unfortunately, I’m driven by a supremely negative experience. Like the previous review, I was misquoted and told to take it or leave it. We were having our dryer vents cleaned and the technicians were reasonably skilled for the actual vent cleaning, but too inexperienced to handle the prep and post work: removing dryer closet doors and carefully removing the dryer from the closet. I ended up in finishing the job for them for fear that that they would damage the door/​closet hardware. So, yes, I paid the $ 149 instead of the quoted $ 99 AND did the extra work the $ 50 was supposed to buy me. Never again.
