Ecoskan Pest Solutions

I had been battling ants for about 6 months and despite a «local» pest control guy coming 3 times, they never went away. I finally decided I would not call them back. I called Terminix and got a rude young man and the price he quoted me was absolutely outrageous so I did a search online for a reputable company with good reviews. Even Orkin’s reviews were poor. I happened upon Ecoskan and liked the idea of their products being more eco-​friendly and they had the best reviews of all. I called and talked to Heather, who really took the time to explain some things and was super nice/​pleasant. She set an appointment for the following Tuesday, however Sam called and asked if we could resechedule to Wed. which was fine. He came, explained what he was going to do, in detail. Walked around my house to determine where the ants were and sprayed around my house, then came in and sprayed a few areas inside my house. He was very nice and explained why the previous attempt didn’t work. He told me it would probably take about 3 days, then I shouldn’t see them any more. He also said he would call back and check with me on Monday. Well, I was a little skeptical, but decided it couldn’t be any worse than it was. Over the next few days, I believe we saw a total of about 15 ants. By Saturday, we were ant free and so far still ant free. Sam called on Monday just as he said he would and I was glad to tell him the good news! I am absolutely amazed and over 100% satisfied and would recommend Ecoskan to anyone! Thank you soooooo very much Sam and Heather. You are the ONLY company I will call for any pest problem in the future (hopefully I won’t need to!)

Yep! Ecoskan is the bee’s knees; and I’m not even old enough to know what that means. I love that with Econskan, we get to do two things at the same time: keep our critter/​insect issue in check while keeping our home and landscape eco-​safe. This is huge as we’ve two little dudes who love the backyard; one of which likes to put everything he can into his mouth. So working with Sam from Ecoskan gives us a peace of mind that we are the doing the right thing by ‘going green’.

Finally, a green exterminator that gets it AND gets the job done without just strapping on a tank of nasty chemicals! As an environmental scientist, I know too much about the harmfulness of pesticides so we don’t want all chemicals sprayed around our home, our dogs, our child, and our garden and Sam worked with us to use mostly natural products derived from essential oils of plants on the severe ant infestation we had, and got results. Many companies will tout a «green» approach or «green products» to get you in the door, but when you ask them to explain, they can’t. Sam happily explained their approach and gave me the names of the products they use to research myself. They’ve got many years of experience in pest-​control, communicate well, and have a truly innovative approach that is hopefully the way of the future. Thanks Ecoskan!

Our cricket problem had gotten out of hand, so I called Ecoskan. Sam was able to come out next day for a consultation and extermination. He was knowledgeable, personable, on-​time, and very affordable! The one time and quarterly extermination prices beat everyone else I called.

I use Ecoskan for quarterly green pest control treatments at my house, and they also took care of a pigeon problem that I had at the front eave of my house. Their prices are very reasonable compared to other companies that I have used in the past, and I love that their product is more eco friendly and safer for my kids and dog. Sam and Heather are very nice people and Sam seems to be extremely knowledgeable about the pest control industry in genneral and has great knowledge of current green products that can be used to take care of ants, spiders and other bugs. I highly recommend this company for pest control services.

I have used ecoskan once and will never go back to a different pest control. I live in orange groves so to get bugs to go away in my house is relatively impossible. They made it possible. I love the products they use, and completely green and biodegradable. Yes that means that have to come back eventually since it is not a forever solution but they are so affordable it’s laughable. They are just experts at what they do and the knowledge they have is vast. I RECOMMEND them FOREVER!

Happiest customer with no spiders.

I had my house pretreated for termites during new construction. Price was good, communication was clear, and everything was completed on schedule.

Last summer I had a spider problem that I was more than uncomfortable with. The final straw was when my daughter refused to sleep in her room for fear of getting a spider bite. Ecoskan not only came out and handled the problem but Sam also cleaned up webs and areas where the spiders made their home.
A few months later I called them out again when I had a random ant issue. Out of the blue I had an army of ants invading my home. In my daughters room, in the laundry room, in my master, it was awful. After inspecting the exterior of my home and locating the source, Sam handled it and I haven’t seen another ant or bug since. I don’t mind bugs OUTSIDE but I definitely mind them INSIDE and now I have a bug free home! They were not only knowledgeable but professional and friendly. If another issue comes up I will definitely be calling them again :)

Let me make this review on more than one front.
First, we live in a rural area and a raccoon broke in under our home and gave birth to 4 kits. She tore up the underneath of my home. Tore up, as in thousands of dollars worth of damage!
One phone call to Sam and he came with a member of his team and extracted the babies and got them to a wild life rehabber. I love the idea that it was a no kill solution!
Then, he used his local contacts in the area to help me clean up the smell, the wood damage and other damage that the raccoon had created while making her nest.
From plumbers to contractors to painters.
He even went to bat for me with the insurance so that they would cover things I didn’t know could be covered.
My house is restored and so is my sanity.
The second front…
I hate ants. Like, despise them. I hate other bugs too but I HATE ants.
Sam comes and sprays outside only and the ants are gone for long periods of time. That is a peace of mind to me that can’t be brought. We have two dogs and they can walk on the spray once it’s dry.
Again, safe for animals.
I cannot recommend Sam enough. He truly cares for his customers, listens to the problem and then offers a solution!
I also love that I’m supporting a local small business!
And no ants. I hate ants!
