Really like how my manicure looked! Each nail was stunning! The nail tech was really excellent! She massaged my hand while exfoliating. Filed my nails nicely. Removed the cuticles with ease. Massage my hand again while applying hand cream. Painted my nails perfectly! Services was just wonderful!!!

Salon has declined in customer service, cleanliness and standards. Received a gc and made an appointment, arrived and I was just set to the side and the once they were ready the process was hurried along. My technician cut my cuticles three times then poured some green liquid to stop the bleeding. I immediately stopped the manicure. I look over and another technician is reaching for the green liquid so not only was I I cut but do was another person. Hands down the quality is no longer there, it’s a bldg full of factory workers simply chiming out the service. Will not return. Do your research.

Went in here to get my manicure done and was really impress with this salon. The techs working here are very friendly. Every corner of this place is spotless. Doesn’t have any chemical smell lingering in the air. When it was my turn, the nail tech working on my nails was very gentle with me throughout the process of my manicure. Never did she cut or pierce me. She also listen to all my requests too. When she was done, my nails looked absolutely elegant! Just how I wanted them to look from the beginning! Definitely the best salon I’ve been to in a long time!

I really believe that this Venetian Nails does the best job out of every salon! They keep up with trends. And they do an amazing job on shaping my brows perfectly. Wax them on fleeek! All of their staff here is just perfect and so sweet. Plus, you can not beat the prices anywhere else. Highly Recommend.

Can I do less than one star? Let me save you time, money and headache don’t go!!! And if your looking for lash extensions stay very very far away

I love the Venetian Nail and Day Spa! The owners and staff are a tightly run professional business. They are timely, courteous and able to fill any of my requests. I strongly recommend Tammy, who I have personally used for 9 years. I believe the key to liking a salon, is establishing a rapport and asking for the same technician over and over again, once you find one who meets your needs. Make an appointment also, it has helped me, even when last minute they are able to work me in, instead of taking a chance that a walk-​in gets there before me. Do yourself a favor and learn and find the technician that works for you — stop blaming the business for something you change by a simple request.

Great job on my pedicure. However, I think they try to push for the more expensive packages. I wanted just exfoliation and pedicure. Other salons will throw in a massage while applying the lotion. And so, I didn’t have time to be there over an hr. I tried to tell this person what I just want several times. Eventually, I just gave into pressure sales.
Returned for the 2^nd time this week for my mani this time. Tiffany great job! Tiffany care not to hurt my wound. Love my nail color!

I really wanted to like this place because it’s close to my house, but I will never go there again.
I gave them three chances with my eyebrows. The first time I went, the result was acceptable but not fantastic. I went back because, again, it’s close to home and it wasn’t a terrible job. The second and third time the results were bad– not horrible but definitely not good.
I fix my eyebrows with makeup, so I can deal with subpar waxing, but the reason I will never go back here is because the customer service I received all three times was really awful. I’m a very friendly/​smiley person and I’m usually treated pretty well because of it, but here the guy at the front won’t say hello to me and doesn’t say a word when I check out– doesn’t tell me my total, doesn’t say thank you, won’t even look at me. When I was walking out I saw him smile at another customer while checking her out which really upset me even more. I find this unacceptable.
Overall: Bad waxing– no removing the makeup first, no taking a second to look at my brows, uneven, etc
Bad customer service: literally the only things said to me by the guy at the front and my waxer were «go back there» and «you want brows only?» I’m just really disappointed– I’m super friendly and I tip really well– I don’t think it’s too much to ask to at least be a little pleasant.

This was ALMOST a 5 star rating, but we discovered my chair wasn’t functioning correctly (read…at all) after the water had been run and my feet were already soaking. So — no massage, and since I’m short, I kind of had to stretch for the technician to reach my feet.
But other than that glitch, this was a really enjoyable experience. I know the review says «pricey,» but I’m from out of the area…$ 55 for a hot stone massage that INCLUDES a hot wax at the end — I paid $ 75 for that in my old town.
My daughter and I went there for back-​to-​school pedicures (and so did several other mother/​daughter pairs while we were there). The techs were very friendly and gave a great massage. This was our first visit to this location, and it seemed clean — a really important aspect of a pedicure for me.
We both agreed today’s experience was among the best pedicures we’ve ever had. We’ll definitely be going back.

One of the worst experiences I had. First of all they did the mani and pedi at the same time but making me stretch over to one side for my hands. I was very uncomfortable. Also the pedi person, although I asked, would not cut the nail on the big toe and now it is too long. She did a decent job with the nail polish. The two technicians talked the whole time to each other which was rude and not relaxing. The worst part was the way they filed my hands and kept filing to «fix» the jagged egdes they created. I have no nails left and I had to fix my hands in front of them since luckily I had a file in my purse. One of my nails actually split since they were so rought with them. The nail polish had defects on my hands and all this girl could say, «is it good»? I will never go back and do not recommend anyone else does either. No customer service!

Had to come back to fix smudges on toes and hands, I did encounter a problem the girl who did my nails Janet put on shellac on acrylic when I just wanted regular color and I was very honest with her about not wanting to spend a lot of money and somehow I ended up with shellac on top of my acrylic nails I’m very disappointed and would had love to come back but I honestly don’t like to be treated like I this she works under commission so she knew what she was doing the person who is now fixing her job is the nicest and it’s a shame because of one person I won’t be coming back

New to San Antonio, my feet were so calloused, saw the last review about Jenny T… and yes I would agree, she even got my ingrown toe nail (TMI sorry) — I got the Tuscan package with wine. The service was fabulous, the chairs are comfy and massaging, the color selection was great, the shelac nail polish is still on and it has been 10 days! I would give this a 5 star and recommend Jenny T!!! Super sweet!!! Only complaint is that the wine tasted like cranberry juice and not like cabernet or merlot and was served in a cold glass… otherwise not a huge deal.

Nice place. Really clean. Prices are comparable to other salons. First time was a couple days after their opening and was a good experience. 20%off all services at that visit. Receptionist/​manager was super helpful and on top of the salon. Pedicure was alright, not the best, but the ambience was worth trying again. Second time was not all that. Got in right away with a friend. Although we had the same pedicure service her pedicure was not at all what it should have been according to the menu list. Her hot towel wrap was falling off her toes. Leaving them exposed to cold air. Secondly there was no talk, engagement what so ever. Instead the worker spoke on her phone during, between, and after the services. When confronted of the lack of professionalism — she either didn’t understand or chose not to care. And yes, she understood as we heard her speaking in English to the other person. After all was done and discusses we got a 10%discount. The location is the only reason we will try it again with an experienced and professional.

I was really excited for this place to open. I finally went on Thursday for a mani/​pedi. I was really pleased at first with the cleanliness. I called in for an appointment and I still ended up waiting for about 20 minutes. I wasn’t too upset because it happens… I sat down to relax before my company was to come to stay at my house. The nail technician was nice at first and I put down my phone so not to be rude. We chatted on and off through my pedi. And then she got to my mani. All of a sudden she started to hurry everything up. My left hand is completely different than my right hand. I don’t know what happened but it was like she rushed through– why?. She didn’t care and didn’t even say bye. The manager or owner was alright but I might wait a few months before I try this place again. I’m sure I can find somewhere that will not rush my $ 16 manicure. It already looks dull and chipped after less than two days. A bit disappointing. But not that much– a lady came into the salon to have her manicure fixed while I was there.

I found My spot! This place recently opened in March, went yesterday to try it out & I love it ! The ambiance of the salon is perfect. Very relaxing and classy. Jenny T is my girl ! We hit it off from the start after talking about how we both lived in CA for years and moved to SA. She understood exactly what I wanted to do with my nails & did an amazing job.
Since I moved here a year ago, I’ve been trying so many salons and never really picked one as my go to place until yesterday! So happy with this salon, staff is great & prices are reasonable :) Can’t wait to get a pedi next weekend !

I have been looking for a great nail salon since I moved to San Antonio almost three years ago. I had almost given up when I found Venetian Nail and Day Spa in my neighborhood. It is brand new and a very elegant, classy, nail salon but not in a fussy way.
There are 20 massage/​pedicure chairs and 14 nail stations so there is plenty of room for a number of clients and a good reason to just pop in in the event that you are the spontaneous type. They offer other services such as facials and waxing. A bonus: you can have a complimentary glass of wine or margarita to relax you even further during your visit.
I have had pedicures for over 30 years and Yvonne gave me the best foot and leg massage I’ve ever had. Be sure to ask for her! Nail salons come and go but I am betting that Venetian Nail and Day Spa is here to stay!
