I came in for eyelash extensions after seeing many before and after pics and seeing Mindy’s raving reviews I had to see for myself. She’s got the best price in town for a full set. The smell of the glue irritated my nose a little bit or maybe it was just my allergies. Mindy was extremely knowledgeable and taught me how to maintain and care for my new lashes includes all the insider tricks of the trade. Best part is how fast she is !!! A little bit over an hour. Not only is she fast but efficient. She’s polite and plays some killer music while she works.

I have been searching all over San Antonio for someone who I could trust to do my eyelash extensions and I’m so happy I met Mindy! She is amazing at what she does, super professional, and a sweetheart. I have gotten so many compliments on my lashes since I’ve been going to Mindy. Do yourself a favor and go see Mindy you won’t regret it!

Super friendly family staff. Been in business 18 years. Great service & quality mani/​pedi. I enjoyed watching their big screen tv with a glass of wine. The only reason I did not give them a 5 star rating is because it is an older facility, but well worth going back!

I was pretty nervous about getting my eyelashes done and kind of decided to do it on impulse once I found a place I was comfortable with. And it was absolutely worth it!
Mindy was amazing. She explained aftercare while she was doing them, was extremely friendly, and not to mention time efficient (I’ve heard cases where eyelash extensions can take up to 3 hours!).
Needless to say I am extremely satisfied and can’t wait to go back.

First time visit at this salon! Staff is friendly friendly. The gentlemen who did my nails today did a very good job. They use CND brand Shellac polish. He paid attention to detail and took his time to ensure that the work was high quality. If I am in the area again, I will definitely be visiting this salon again.

To be honest I was nervous about getting my eyelashes done. However Mindy is so sweet, explained everything from what to expect and after care. I was then excited to see the results. She also played some relaxing music and we just had good conversations. I like how she took her time and made me feel so relaxed. She says she is a little ocd so I know she was striving for perfection. And guess what?!? I’m in LOVE with my eyelashes! Mindy did a flawless job! I’ve gotten so many compliments will be back for refills for sure!

Excellent place to get a mani/​pedi! Wonderful, professional service. From the moment my mom and I walked in we were treated with professionalism, everyone was very nice and knew what they were doing. Mindy gave recommendations to the colors for my mom and I before my big wedding day, it was like being treated like royalty! Deluxe pedicure is the way to go – very relaxing! I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else for my salon treatments anymore! Thanks everyone at Encino Nails!

Love this place! Anne has given me two pedicures now, and she is fabulous — really takes her time with the massage portion. The salon is clean, and everyone is nice.

Soooo excited. I finally got my first eyelash extensions and they came out better than expected. I laid down and fell asleep while she worked on me and then woke up to beautiful lashes.

By far worst refill I’ve ever gotten. Couldn’t take off old powder like other salons do, filed nailed crooked and couldn’t cut down as far as I needed because he didn’t change the color. Waste of money. I’ll have to do another refill in a week because it’s hard to type at this length!

Mindy did my lashes, and I love them. I am super happy with them and the way they turned out. Will be coming here again. Very satisfied

Did excellent job on eyelashes. They are the single strand ones, so they turn out much better. Very full and pretty, love them!

Omg they did so good on my nails and eyelash extensions. They even stayed later when I showed up late. Every clean and nice! My new go to nail shop

my husband wanted to get his feet done and i wanted my fingers and toes done. i called to see if there was a wait and they said no. it is close to home and the reviews were good so we tried it. there were only 3 employees so luckily we were able to get seated right away. i usually get my toes and fingers done at the same time but not at this place with the limited number of workers so i opted out of the fingers. when we were almost done with the service the lady tells us that their credit card machine isn’t working so we have to pay cash. i never have more than $ 20 so i was a little irked. my french and my husbands pedi was $ 60.

Stopped in while in town for work. Got the shellac manicure and regular pedicure. No appointment but didn’t have to wait long. People were nice.
It seemed like it was the first time the lady had done shellac, she kept asking questions and showing the other workers. Looks decent but I have had better. Total was $ 63.
Biggest downside was they had sugar ants all over.

Finally! I think I found a decent little nail salon.
It’s not the fanciest; but cute and does the job.
My nail tech was awesome and definitely took his time in making sure I got what I needed.
He asked someone else to do my toe designs; which was awesome instead of just not doing it at all. (Like a previous salon that I had tried.)
It had a cute little quaint feel to it.
I got there around 10:30 on a Saturday. They got a little bit backed up; but I didn’t feel rushed or anything while they tried to accommodate others.
Give them a try!

I have been to this establishment many, many times in the past when I lived in the area. The fact that I also work right up the highway made it super convenient for me to stop in for a mani before going home or stop in on the weekend. I have always been able to count on friendly faces and quick, but immaculate service. Super clean establishment too. The only reason I strayed from this salon was because I moved to the complete opposite side of town. I have since struggled to find a place that produces the same quality results and service.
Today, I was reminded why I loved this place and from here on out I WILL make the trip to take care of my beauty business regardless of the drive.
Oh, Mindy! You know just what to do and say to take a girl’s breath away! My lashes– I’m obsessed!
This was my first experience getting eyelash extensions and was super nervous about it. My anxiety hit peak levels when I saw that I had to lay down to get them done. However, as soon as I got settled in and Mindy started talking, the stress quickly melted away. Mindy was not only very thorough in her explanation of the what to expect with the process, care, best practices, etc., she was also so warm and friendly! It felt like I was catching up with an old friend, which is crazy to me because I normally don’t really care to engage in conversation during these types of situations (nails, hair, make-​up…). In fact, I’m usually really uncomfortable doing so (I know… I’m so weird.) Oh, and this lady was super gentle even when my eyes started twitching initially because I wasn’t used to having someone touching my eye area! The whole process took just over an hour, but it went by so quickly because I had such a great experience. Also, she waxed my eyebrows (I was long overdue) and whaaaaaat?! No tears? No pain? Perfect brows? Is this real life?
Bottom line– Mindy did a great job, is a complete sweetheart and clearly takes pride in her work. She and her family run a great business and truly deliver great results in everything they do.

I’m OBSESSED with my lash extensions from Encino Nails. They have become a regular part of my beauty routine. I get at least 3 – 4 compliments a week on my lashes from friends, coworkers, complete strangers, etc. It takes about an hour or so for Mindy to get the initial set of lashes on. I like mine to be full and long but still look natural. She achieves this perfectly and uses high quality mink lashes.
I follow her aftercare instructions and I don’t even see a single lash come loose for at least the first 4 days. When I do, it’s a single lash that had grown out and fallen off. No clumps of lashes falling out, and my own lashes don’t get pulled out. I pretty much sleep on my side at night, but I like to rest my head on my hand which conveniently prevents the lashes from getting smushed in the pillows. I wash them very gently before bed and upon waking up and scrub in between them with the microfiber brush that Mindy gives you. Then I brush them gently with a spooly (also provided) to separate them and keep them neat. I have yet to feel the need to use eyeliner with these lashes, and mascara is not needed (or recommended, it may loosen the bond.) I use eyeshadows on the weekend and have no problem keeping my lashes and lids clean and healthy.
With my maintenance (along with working out 4 – 5 times a week), I need a refill about every 3 weeks, simply because by then my own lashes have grown out and about ¹⁄₃ to ½ of the extensions have thinned out. I can tell when it’s time because I can see my own lashes in between the darker, longer extensions. Sometimes a few extensions can twist or turn sideways as they grow out. I comb them into place so as not to yank out my natural lash if it’s not ready to fall out yet.
Mindy takes about 30 min to complete a refill. She removes any very loose lashes and just fills in between wherever your new natural lashes have come in. It’s painless and there is no pinching or stinging feeling like my friends have sometimes described in other places.
The price for extensions here beat everywhere else (except for the cheap cluster lash places which are TERRIBLE) and there is no sacrifice in quality. I can balance out what I spend on lash refills by eating 2 – 3 less fast food meals a month. Beautifying in more ways than one!

oh… my…goodness. I’ve found my new eyelash girl! I have been looking for YEARS for my regular eyelash place to get these babies done. I literally have gone to 7 different places in town and none of them compare to Miss Mindy at Encino Nails. She does a fantastic job and she’s so helpful and squeezes me in whenever she can and the prices are great. Totally recommend.

This was my 3^rd time getting a manicure in my lifetime. Sad for a chick, I know. However, I had a photoshoot the next day, so I needed to get dolled up. Mindy was patient, explained all the options to me and answered my bazillion questions. I also ended up getting eyelash extensions for the first time. Looks like I have fake eyelashes on and no mascara needed for at least 2 weeks — sweet! The process took an hour and was pretty painless.
It was nonstop traffic during the 2 hours I was there, especially for shellac manicures. Definitely call for an appt.
