This was an awesome tour! Our guide was Robert and he was so much fun and knowledgeable about the history of San Antonio. He told us so much about the rich history of this great city and he made us feel very welcome. I would love do this tour again. Highly recommend!!!

Such a great time! Worth every penny. I had never been on a Segway so I was extremely nervous. After a quick lesson and some time to explore the park, I felt right at home. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable asking questions. She took our picture in multiple locations so we left with a phone full of memories!

We had an amazing time filled with sightseeing and learning historical facts about San Antonio. Our tour guide, Ayden, was very knowledgeable, professional and entertaining. He gave exceptional instruction on how to operate the segways and all of us were very comfortable with them in no time! I think I can speak for all three of us when I say, you have got to try this tour. You won’t regret it at all!

After having such a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide with the same company in Austin, the San Antonio tour was truly a disapointment. The guide was rude, inarticulate, and the «Haunted» tour was mainly her pointing at two hotels and saying that they were haunted. Also, a man seriously injured himself on the tour and she seemed more concerned with the condition of the segway than with his obviously dislocated shoulder. Additionaly, she took us down alleyways in the dark with drunks and homeless people sleeping. It was awkward and I did not feel safe. Skip San Antonio and do the Austin tour instead.

I had the best time on this tour! I’ve never been on a Segway before, but the tour guide, Rowland made me feel right at home. He is so friendly, funny, and professional. I picked the 1.5 hour tour. If I knew I enjoyed it this much, I would have booked the 2 hours tour instead!

Roland, our guide, was awesome. We went on a two hour tour and didn’t have any accidents. Yay! This is the way to see some of the sights. I think because of Roland’s patience and instructions, we will take Segway tours wherever we go. Awesome fun!

Tour guide Joseph was great and explained the history of the sights. Saw Alamo, Mexican Market, several parks, and painting on side of children’s hospital, and many historic buildings too explain. Did the 2.5 hour tour. First time on Segway and it was a blast. Highly recommend going best way to do a tour!

It was the best experience i have ever had. Learned how to ride a segway a little bit of a scare and loved the historic facts which were creepy as well. Will do again!!! Also would recommend!!!

Very friendly and helpful! Very cool crew and knowledgable about the city and the Segways! As a local it was good to see the city of San Antonio from a different perspective and man those segways are a blast to ride. It just takes a few minutes of practice and then you’re on your way. We made reservations almost 2 weeks in advance for a group of 8 ladies (bachelorette weekend). They called to confirm our reservation, very polite. We arrived a little bit late because we had a hard time finding parking, but they accommodated us & were very friendly. Ayden was an awesome tour guide! This was sooooo fun! I can’t wait to go again! The price was perfect. We did the hour tour & I can’t imagine being on it any longer than that. It was a good workout for your entire body.

I thought the tour was shorter than advertised on their website but it was still enjoyable. Riding the segway was a lot easier than I thought too! Our tour guide Ayden was funny and patient with some of the folks in our group.
I purchased Groupon for the five people in my party but they wouldn’t honor them because I called one day after the one week booking rule. I was told that we’d all get the Groupon rate but only me and my boyfriend did, not the other three. I call shenanigans. I’d rate higher but that really stunk, why honor the price and not the Groupon?

Perfect way to catch a glimpse of downtown SA. It was our first time on a Segway and we had a great time. Tour guide Rob gave a quick tutorial that got us the hang of it and 10 min later we were on our way. Tour was not overly informational and the pace kept a even mix of moving and learning. Highly recommend.

As tourists in San Antonio, my boyfriend and I wanted to do something unforgettable to see the city and we couldn’t have picked a better way than the Segway Nation Tours. Neither one of us had any experience with a segway and my boyfriend was a little hesitant at first because he’s pretty tall and he thought he’d look funny or be uncomfortable, but I tell you what, within 5 minutes of getting on his segway, he was singing its praises and swearing that he’ll purchase one when we got home. haha!
It had rained pretty heavy the day before our tour and was sprinkling still the morning of but that didn’t stop us. We were met by Jake, our tour guide, and he did a heck of a job! The first 15 minutes or so is getting use to the segway. Jake did a great job explaining the machine and giving us ample time to get used to it. It was easy to get accustomed to the machine.
Our tour was amazing! Jake was an awesome guide! He knew all the great spots with great history! And not the ‘read off the metal prompters in front of the building’ kind either. He knew his stuff! Gave us some great recommendations for places to visit, cheap parking lots, and great restaurants as well. He gave us a couple chances to toot around on our own and took pictures for us too! We signed up for the executive tour in the morning which is about 2.5 hours and I can’t imagine having any less time. It’s so worth the price for the experience!
After our tour, my boyfriend said that that was the most fun he’s had in a long time and I really struck gold with this experience and I couldn’t have agreed with him more!
Definitely recommend to anyone wanting a fun time in downtown! Will do this again! Wish I could give more stars!

My husband and I had such a great time being tourists in our own city. We used to always laugh at people taking Segway tours downtown, but now that we’ve done it ourselves, we won’t laugh anymore. That’s because now we know how much fun it is!
Adrian did a great job from beginning to end! We got some one-​on-​one practice with him to start, which was a great way to get used to it. The entire 2+ hour tour was great! Adrian shared a lot of history we didn’t know about, and we’ve been in San Antonio for over 10 years! He was informational, fun, not cheesy, and not a «stuck up Mr. Know-​it-​All» by any means! He did great interacting with our small 5-​person group and even with some of the public who stopped to listen in on his talks. And it was nice to get more information about the city than what you’d typically read in a tourist brochure or website. You’ll just have to take Adrian’a tour to see what I’m talking about.
Adrian was also very good about communicating where we really had to be careful and «watch our wheels» and where we could just let it fly in the Segway! It didn’t take long at all to get used to it. And now my husband wants to buy one for himself… :/​
I would highly recommend Segway tours to tourists and locals alike, and would also highly recommend a tour from Adrian.
Tip of the day — I can’t help but think we had a slight advantage in enjoying our tour by going at 9am on a weekday. It wasn’t busy, and wasn’t hot or too humid — especially for a mid-​May morning. If you can swing a tour during the week, I’m sure it’s more enjoyable than during the weekend when downtown can get pretty crowded.

This was a ton of fun and quite reasonably priced. Jake, our guide, did a great job and was both very knowledgable and patient with us tourists. Even when it started pouring rain, it was still worth it!
As for the Segway, it’s super easy and fun to use for rational tourists. However, I did discover that if you make a non-​recommended crazy or possible insane maneuver, the Segway can become confused and make a scary grinding noise and subsequently SHUT ITSELF OFF.
