One Drop Reggae Shop and Juice Bar

Atmosphere is a little odd but the service is extremely friendly and the juice is delightful, and served in the cutest Bell canning jars. Bonus points for encouraging recycling by offering a $ 1 discount on future juices when you return your jar!
First up, the location is tricky to find. It’s that large industrial strip-​mall style building (with Boiler Room on one end and Zito’s on the other, facing the street), but around the right side. When you enter, there’s a small boutique-​style space. Walk through that to the venue-​style space, and the ordering counter is on your right.
Once you find it, ask what juices are available! I opted for a melons-​and-​mint mix that was fresh and not too sweet. They don’t appear to have a set menu, but juices are made fresh daily and stored in a small refrigerator. You can even add extra fresh ginger (my favorite!) to your juice. Prices are on par with other similar spots, think $ 6 – 8.
Note that this is also a music venue (hence the odd setup). Owner spoke to me about how they bring in performers from Jamaica monthly for various performances, which often include Jamaican food and artisan items for purchase as well. I definitely need to time one of my next visits to pop in when they have a performance!

The shop is always undergoing improvements and they add new irie murals. Good vibes and whenever I go it is pretty quiet, very chill.

My juice I alway end up getting is the Get Up Stand Up. Its a green juice with a healthy dose of sweetness and flavor, though it’s nice that it is not too sweet. They always seem to have some new reggae band coming through and really seem to push the live music on the weekends.
One day I will get out there and see one of these shows they have. Reggae scene is usually pretty chill, I really like that about it. Apparently they also do recordings here as well. its neat to see this side of Broadway getting some good thing.

Dug this place a lot. All the smoothies and juice are vegan friendly and delicious. I got a hemp smoothie that was super rich and luxurious. Even my 11 month old baby loved it, haha!
Super cool environment also, can’t wait to catch a show here!
