D & S Garage & Diesel Service

So I was in need of a alignment for my car. I called several tire places only to find that some did not do alignments, or they were booked for the day. The ones that did not do alignments seemed annoyed that I asked if they recommended a place. The ones that were booked, did not even offer to make an appointment with me.
I was told about D & S from a guy that I work with. When I gave them a call, the guy that answered the phone was very polite. Whey were booked for the day, but he gave me several other days to pick from for an appointment. After that he asked a few question about the problem I was having. All and all, the type of first impression that you would like to have.
When I got there of the day of my appointment, Tony, the guy behind the counter, immediately said good morning to me and told me that he would be right with me. A minute later, he came up to the desk and asked if I was Adam, and from there he took a bit more info about my car and the problem that it was having. He then went out and got the last bit of info off my car.
About 15 minutes later, he was given the printout of the initial reading on my alignment. He then took the time to explain what it all ment. I am a car guy and have actually done my own alignments in the past, but it was a nice touch of customer service to take the time to explain what was going on.
About 20 minutes later he let me know that they were done and were taking it for a test drive to make sure that it was driving strait and that they had resolved my problem.
In the end, Tony thanked me for my business and wished me a nice day.
This place has figured out customer service, and I appreciate that. They also were quick and accurate with my repair.
Another thing. While I was waiting in the lobby, I overheard some of their conversations. They were talking about how best to repair some of there customers cars, not just how to get it done quick and cheap.
I will be taking my car again when I have my next issue, or my next service for sure.
