Established in 2006.

Counseling Connections of San Antonio started when a young man had an idea to help others. Well the desire was shared by other like-​minded individuals who are now a part of our mission. Now we are a flourishing practice with other 10 counselors offering behavioral health services ranging in specialties. Our new service has been the offering of low cost counseling services to those without insurance or high deductibles or co-​pays through our Licensed Professional Counselor Interns. We are growing everyday with our mission to always find better ways to give a quality service and experience.

Business Owner

Robert Franklin hails from Bossier City, Louisiana. After attaining a Bachelors of Science in Psychology at Northwestern State University of Louisiana he moved to San Antonio, TX in 1999 to pursue his dream of a graduate degree in Counseling. He attained his Masters at the University of Texas at San Antonio and then went onto his doctorate at St. Mary’s University. His strengths and research have been in the areas of multiculturalism and the impact on family systems. He states his most unique skill is to offer an «honest» quality service in his counseling, while understanding the realities that our world surrounds us with and is honest when limits are necessary.
