I recently took my 2005 Vibe to Harry’s for a day of detailing, and I was super impressed by the job that was done by Dan. I cannot believe how clean my car is and how well they removed stains from the carpets and upholstery. My husband made a snarky comment afterwards that he didn’t realize my car seats were supposed to be the color they are now that they were cleaned… needless to say, it looks good!
They did a really through job and spent quite a bit of time on my car for a very reasonable price. Their dog is a total sweetheart as well! Would definitely return for another detailing job.

I had Dan do a major SUV detail for me. And when I say major, I mean that it took him all day to do. The car stank and was FULL of dog hair (the German Shepard kind, so quite tough to remove). He cleaned over and over and over again just to make sure that he got as much of the hair as possible. The car sat in the 90-​degree sun yesterday all day, and this morning when I went to get into the car — it smelled great. So he did a good job of getting both the smell and the hair out of my vehicle. He did this all for the bargain price of $ 150. Definitely suggest Dan if you need to get a solid cleaning done on your car. I talked to the dealership in Brooklin, MI and the guy they suggested wanted $ 150 to start. I’m sure that after all the work that went into cleaning my car that it would have been significantly higher. Very pleased with the work and price. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience with them. We were in from out of town to buy a car and they worked us in. Friendly. Honest. Found problems we wouldn’t have. Also, love their golden retriever.

My heater stopped making heat… then my temp gauge started going up, up, up… and by the time I finally stopped the car it would barely run — overheated — and billowing steam from under the hood. It was dark. My cell phone was dead. My usual mechanic was far, far away.
The next morning I found a few places using Unilocal that were within my 5-​mile AAA towing allowance. After calling each of them to find prices /​availability, I settled on Harry’s because everyone else was sketchy on the phone, and when I called Harry’s the guy gave me good info and quoted the ‘hours’ book and told me how long the book expected it to take, and what his hourly rate was.
I had it towed over to the shop, and followed in another car. It’s in an old gas station downtown saline — a good spot for a shop I thought. He looked the car over, we figured out what was wrong, and he said he would take care of it. I also had some extra stuff in my trunk, tune-​up parts that I was meaning to get around to, and I asked that if it wasn’t too much to just put them on too for me since I wasn’t going to have time.
Long story short, they did everything for less than they estimated, and even put on a new part for free that was broken as they were disassembling the car. Overall, great experience and I will be taking my car to them again (hopefully not for a long time!).

I can’t say enough good things about Harry’s! Rick and his son Dan bring an honesty and expertise that will remind you of an old-​time service station. They sweat the details and don’t take the typical swap it out for a new part because it takes less time approach.
Here’s one of many examples. I’ve got a 2003 Lincoln LS and I brought it in due to a misfire and engine cutting out. Rick noticed that the throttle body was sticking and instead of replacing it with a $ 600 part, he took the old one apart and cleaned it. Then because it was still misfiring he determined that the coil-​on-​plugs were interfering with the electronic throttle. So he moved the coils around to remove the interference.
He spent about 15 hours working on the car and could have charged me for them like the car dealers. Instead he told me that he couldn’t charge me for all those hours and only charged me for a fraction of them!
These guys have earned my loyal business for everything on my car from repairs to tires! Great job guys!

These guys are awesome! Had my car done in one day and far more reasonable than any other service department in the area. Very friendly staff and keep you up to date on the status of your vehicle. Will defintely be back!
