Updating/downgrading this review from a 4 to a 1 due to the horrible service at the location for the past month or so. I’m in this location at least 3 times a week and so the decline in service was easy to gauge and coincided perfectly with the arrival of a new employee working the opening shift which is of course their busiest time of day. The tall, slender guy I’m speaking of is tasked with working the register and warming food(sandwiches, etc) and in accomplishing either with any degree of competency. On several occasions he has taken my order and that of others for both drinks and food and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing with said orders. No sandwich retrieved or warmed and the cup with the order on it simply placed by the register as if someone else is supposed to come get them from him. This is not the way a business operates without seriously pissing off its customers. Without variance after being badgered by the people who have had theirs orders neglected, the employees actually doing work in the store are forced to stop what they are doing to go back and compete the tasks that slender man has placed to the side and forgotten about. It is unthinkable to me that he is still employed here let alone continuing to work the mornings(busiest time of day). Not sure if this is nepotism or classic favoritism in action but he’s definitely not able to stick around on the merits of his excellent barista skills or incredible work ethic. Please Starbucks Olivette management, move this guy somewhere he can’t obstruct the expedient progress of my mornings! I’ll definitely re-revise this update if/when the situation improves because the rest of the people here are unwaveringly friendly and accommodating. This 1-star update is a reflection of the bad service being dealt out by one person and it truly crazy for someone to allow that to occur within their business.

Again, extremely busy location with not enough people working. Today(4⁄24) it was really busy. 2 people taking orders, one heating up food and the other making drinks. You need more than one person making 20+ drinks. Literally. This location was definitely over capacity. I overheard many angry customers saying oh I was here first why did she get hers first and so on. It was never ending… anyways I did a mobile order. It was suppose to be ready in 3 – 8 mins. Received it at 15 mins… not a big deal consider it as extremely busy but let me take that back… yes it was a big deal since I was late for work and my ice caramel macchiato tasted absolutely disgusting. It was so gross I had a couple sips and threw it out. The staff here was friendly but that doesn’t defeat the purpose. Yes, I’m aware of if your drink doesn’t taste right, they will remake it. But I didn’t have the time… I was already running late. This location really needs more employees working!!!

I’ve been visiting Starbucks recently because it’s closest to my work. So when I need a quick fix, I know I can run to Starbucks and back. And I have to say: they’ve really improved their iced coffee blend. It’s not nearly as bitter as it used to be, to where now I can drink it without adding milk. It used to taste much more like an iced Americano — dark and bitter — but now it’s significantly lighter, with a smoother flavor to it. So I will continue to go back to Starbucks when need be. Now, I do have one complaint — or more of a general warning. If you’ve never been to this location — or any of the other businesses in this strip — the parking can be horrendously competitive during peak hours. It can quickly devolve into chaos, where people park anywhere just to get a «spot.» So if you are going to this location, keep that in mind. It’s better to go during irregular times than face the battle that is that parking lot.

Tiny location seated just at the opening of the plaza. Not only is parking tight(shared with eateries like Jimmie Johns and Sugar Fire) but the inside made me claustrophobic.

I love this starbucks… I am pretty loyal customer along with two other people. BUT there seems to always be an issue when quindale(however you spell it) as if this person might have something against the three off us… NEVER smiles or greets us like everyone else does that knows us in there and is always making our drinks crappy… its actually really funny to me as i’m writing this. maybe he doesn’t like his job I DON’T KNOW but this has been multiple times. When we called up to make a little complaint he wanted to get snippy in some way, not really manager material if you ask me but that’s none of my business JUSTMAKEOURDRINKSRIGHT! we are paying customers… «gold members» and having to pay for a $ 6.00 drink that was made like complete a** just isn’t going to satisfy me =[ BEMOREFRIENDLY. Thanks!

My fav coffee chain. Friendly staff. They are always super busy. The breakfast selection is great, my kids love the parfaits, I really like the cheese danish. It’s clean and of course it has wifi. Very close to where we live so it’s very convenient. My usual drink is always the mocha frapp with extra mocha and w/o whip. But my hubby said one of his co-worker, ordered a ‘green’ drink and she said it was green tea. He knew I like green tea so told me to try. I did try both the latte and the frapp. Surprisingly, I actually like the frapp over the latte. Oh, n it tastes great with the whip. Me, a no whip on my drink person actually likes the whip on the green tea frapp, lol! Now I have a 2nd favorite drink. I even got my hubby into the green tea frapp. :D Although, I do recommend that if u get the green tea latte, is to make sure n tell them to mix up the green tea powder throughly, if not it will be some on the bottom of ur cup, and it won’t taste good.

If I could give it 0 stars I would, while I was getting my iced coffees the male barista said to the female that I, was probably going to post pictures of my coffee’s on Facebook. After I receive my coffee, I said, «no I don’t plan on posting this on my facebook. thanks though.» Then he said, «oh you have boundaries?» What a jerk.

By nature most people have a problem with the ubiquity of Starbucks. I came into this location for one reason. To purchase a flat white. I learned about a flat white reading reviews in Singapore, London, and finally St. Louis. This Starbucks is next to my barbershop. So I walked in and found the place filled with the typical Starbuck crowd drinking coffee and using the INTERNET. The place was super clean. I stood in a line of 4 people in front of me. The line moved fast enough. I ordered my flat white then walked over and watched them make it. A flat white is very similar to café au lait with one major difference they use espresso for 50% coffee and steamed and frothed milk for the next 50%. It is a powerful drink to say the least. I really like this new coffee. Of course I did not like the price but it is Starbucks.

Pretty average Starbucks. However, I did not like that they wouldn’t make my drink with a different type of coffee. I thought it was their policy to make you any type they had stocked in the store? They had a lot of bags around the store of the type I was asking for. Maybe I’m wrong but I was disappointed. I have had a couple negative experiences with workers, not direct interactions just observations. For example people complaining about having to work there etc. things like that. You want to have a friendly nice time ordering your drink not feel like you are bothering them by ordering something. Also, they water down the ice tea here, I don’t know maybe you can ask for it with no extra water but I didn’t realize they were going to do that, I haven’t had that happen at the location in creve coeur. So if you are getting iced tea here you might want to double check.

Great location and great service levels. Huge store with lots of seating and very large patio also. Wish more locations modeled their size similar to this one as there is never enough seating at most of the stores.

For the most part, this Starbucks location is like just about any other. You’ll find the same coffee, the same snacks and the same retail items here.

Just a great place in general. Baristas are awesome, they remember your name! Feels like a coffee shop but not so much like a national chain. They have a great selection of any type of iced or hot drink. Their not terribly cheap but worth the quality.

For the most part, this Starbucks location is like just about any other. You’ll find the same coffee, the same snacks and the same retail gifts here. Pros: It’s a good location in that it’s easy to get to from I-170 and Olive, and there’s a traffic light with an arrow that gives you access into the stripmall from the busy street. It’s a bit warmer here, which is a nice change from the chilly Starbucks I’ve encountered elsewhere. The restroom is large and clean. Wifi is decently speedy. Cons: I normally don’t order food, but I saw the sandwich sign and ordered a veggie one with no egg. The barista didn’t bat an eye at my no-egg request and the sandwich was tasty, but there were no veggies, just cheese. Also, this location is very, very small. There’s room for maybe 20 seated people and few outlets. It’s, you know, a Starbucks. *shrug*

This location is great! It is right up the street from my house so I tend to go in a lot. I try not to go during«peak hours»(8−10am and 4−6pm) so I don’t have to wait in long lines. All of the baristas are extremely friendly and helpful. Next time you go in, ask what their favorite syrup is and have them add it to your mocha. My favorite is toffee nut — yum yum! Another great thing about this location is all the seating inside and outside. I go here for long afternoons and evenings during the year to work on my computer. Never have I ever been bugged about how long I am there and they always give me a deal on my refills. Just remember, always be nice to the people who handle your food — and drinks ;)

This location is down the street from my house, and I always run into people I know there. My girlfriend and I go in there about twice a week. The staff is very friendly, and they really take their time while talking to each customer. They are a lot slower than most of the Starbucks’ I have been to, but sometimes its refreshing. More about the experience, less about the rush and caffeine fix. I usually drink the Salty Caramel Mocha(off menu, but AMAZING). They haven’t been reviewed in a while, so I hope this helps!

I splurged and went for a peppermint hot chocolate. It was a coldy morning and I was not in the mood for the coffee flavor. Either way it was tasty!
