Specialties
Enjoy great American food with Hawaiian panache. Our menu features burgers, enchiladas, interesting salads and sandwiches, and Southern entrees such as meatloaf or fried chicken.
At dinner, we compliment our menu with a prix fixe menu of Chef Bobbi Wasabi’s specialties. Taste his lomi lomi salmon, baked brie, marinated lamb brochette or grilled New York strip. 3 courses are $ 25. Pair with 2 glasses of wine or beer for a little extra.
Have a large group? We have a large space. Dinner planning is easy with our large dining room. Or perhaps your group would be more comfortable having an appetizers and cocktails in the bar. Alternatively, our mezzanine is a nice semi-private space for business meetings and intimate affairs.
We celebrate Happy Hour everyday from 4 – 7. Specials include:
$ 4.75 for 23-oz drafts (Stella Artois, Schlafly Oktoberfest, Schlafly Pale Ale, Fat Tire, Boulevard Wheat, or Shock Top)
$ 5 Luxury Cocktails
Free wings with beer buckets
History
Established in 2003.
Kitchen K was the first fine dining restaurant to open during the restoration of Washington Avenue east of Tucker. It stood in the historic Merchandise Mart lofts on the corner of 10th and Washington, with only an art gallery and a coffee shop as its neighbor. Its sucess helped demonstrate the viability of the area, and today the neighborhood is bustling with several restaurants, bars, shops, and clubs.
