Service here was excellent. The guy behind the bar came around and helped me get a cigar and then brought me back to the bar to get a drink. Overall everything was awesome.

Great atmosphere, awesome drinks, and huge cigar selection. The owners are extremely friendly, the staff is knowledgeable, and the regulars are a fun crowd. Don’t be intimidated by this place. Everyone is down to earth and ready to talk. It’s easy to make a friend at Stanley’s.

GREAT SPOT. We are fortunate to have a cigar bar and retail cigar shop in Downtown St. Louis. Locals and visitors will be so glad we have a unique venue where you can enjoy a fine cigar and a beverage. Nice seating options with couches, tables, bar area and a GREAT selection of cigars in the humidor. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. When I run into folks from other cities, they are so glad St. Louis has a cigar bar when they visit. So many cities have shut them down. As you would expect, it does get smoky. Glad the Stanley family had kept this tradition going for St. Louis.

Love love love this place! Hubster loves cigars, i love that i can smoke cigarettes inside! Doug and Pat (two of the owners) are super nice and accommodating! Jacob (bartender) is great and treats regulars like royalty! Love that most of the time its a classy crowd (no douchebags or frat boys usually). Check them out for a great night of smoking and whiskey!

This is a very cool spot. I’m not a cigar smoker so i can’t comment on what they carry, but their humidor seemed fully stocked with lots of variety. The bartenders were friendly. I will say, if you are a single woman, this may be a good place for you and your friends to check out because the ratio of men to women here is like 14:1 ! Of course you must be able to withstand the smoke. I’m just saying.

Great lounge with a nice selection of good cigars. I spent a couple of hours enjoying fine spirits and great cigars. The drinks were priced right, and the cigars were priced very good as well. There wasn’t too many customers there at the time I was visiting, but I got a chance to speak with a few and all were fun people. I was in town for leisure and I would recommend this establishment to any one. I will definitely come back if/​when I make another trip to St. Louis. The four star review was due to the locked humidor room. I understand the need to protect your merchandise, but it was a bit of a challenge to get in and I had to wait.

This is by far one of my most favorite places to go when I’m in the city of St. Louis. The people there and the staff are so friendly to talk to and chat with, not to mention the bartender always has a good selection of Bourbons to choose from. The humidor is a nice little walk in humidor that’s been well-​stocked with a very nice selection of smokes. This place is situated right in the middle of downtown and there are plenty of nice restaurants surrounding the bar to go and choose from. If you are a cigar smoker and passing through St. Louis I would highly recommend visiting this place. It is ornately decorated in beautiful dark wood and leather fixtures.
On a sidenote, this is a great place to bring business clients, family, friends, for any kind of event. I have actually spoken with the owners on multiple occasions during my visits there and they are also very friendly!

This is the second time the crew and I stopped by here this week. The fist was before dinner, this time it was after. This may have been the better since we were not rushing and were able to just sit and enjoy ourselves.
When we entered the place tonight, Jacob (The Bartender) remembered us from the day before. He manned the humidor this time, and made some great suggestions.
It is definitely a stop by spot the next time I am in St. Louis.

What I can say about this place is WOW! I felt so good here the seats were very comfortable. The workers helped me a lot and seemed very friendly. They checked on us regularly to make sure we were OK.
I felt like a real classy fella here and felt like I belonged. They have a complete bar and cigar shop. You come here you man not want to leave.
I am going to put it like this… people of all color, race and creed should feel good here.
Clean facility, nice leather seats, sofas and more… just an all around first class cigar lounge.
Parking is tough as with all downtown parking. There is a parking lot right across the street fir $ 5 you can park at.
A must try if you like a good cigar.

This is a real deal cigar lounge. Great selection, cool history, and beautiful décor. It’s obvious these guys are here to stay.

It smells like cigars but the good kind of cigar smoke. This place has class and knowledgeable bartenders. The night I came the bartender had a discussion with my brother about different kinds of scotch. Can’t be upset with that. Good place to have a nightcap or just keep it classy.

I can’t believe I forgot to review CPStanley’s. This is a great cigar bar. Great as in the best I’ve been to in multiple states. I loved the selection (prices are cigar bar standard and overpriced $ 13 – 15 is about avg but that’s standard for cigar bars) and the humidor is beautiful and sizeable. Also it’s really cool to spend a few minutes just perusing the selection in the quiet, fresh and interesting humidor.
On to the bar: the scotch and bourbon selection is fantastic. It’s reasonable at around 10.00÷2 finger pour. The stuff you can get is solid and not basic bar stuff. All the pours I’ve had were generous and pours I wanted to try.
They have room at the bar and service was spot on and friendly. Comfortable couches, quality décor and TVs aplenty make Stanleys a must go bar in St. Louis.

Charley Cigars is a nice establishment, however they are a little pricey, good selection of cigars and mediocre customer service. You can get a better price and selection at «The Party Source «in Kentucky

I frequent cigar lounges often while I’m on travel and this is one of the better ones I enjoyed the atmosphere, the cigar selection, and the Merlot that I had I will be back next time I’m in St Louis

This place is FANTASTIC if you are looking for a place to smoke a cigar. The staff and owners are super friendly, the have a great selection of whisky, beer, scotch, etc and they don’t measure it out with an eye dropper like so many places today. Plenty of leather chairs and couches, and great seating around the bar. They have a great selection of cigars in the walk in humidor, local musicians several nights per week, and often cigar related events. It is in a great location on Washington Avenue where you can people watch out the large windows. There is nothing bad about this place.

Now, mind you, I’m not an avid smoker. I’ve probably visited this place a total of 3 times in the past year. What I will say, is that I love it for a random, I don’t have anything to do and need to pass the time type of place. This spot is very laid back and relaxed. The staff is über friendly and helpful. If it’s your first time going to a cigar bar, you don’t have to be nervous, they will help you all the way. This place has an awesome selection of cigars for newbys and pros. Great selection on the bar, no food. Be warned, this place is for cigar smokers, do not go here with the expectation that there will be some type of non-​smoking section, you will be sorry. I witnessed this guy with his girlfriend and she wasn’t into the cigar atmosphere and constantly asked when they were leaving. Needless to say, he had to end his night early. Poor sap. lol

Great lounge for smokers. Was out there for business when it’s hot and humid. The Humidor is locked (good to keep the humidity and temperature in the humidor, and cigars will be better controlled), but the staff is extremely helpful, and easy to talk to in regards to talking cigars and be given recommendations (the black guy, cannot recall his name). I was also there for the Rocky Patel event, where I smoked a Drew Estate Undercrown instead.
Ventilation: Very good all around. It smells like a cigar place, but smoke does not linger around, it gets sucked up, however… the great ventilation means using matches to light a cigar, is not ideal.
Their house torch (for lighting cigars), is too finicky… I think they need a better house torch (or a new one). Maybe it’s the butane…
when in the area again, I will have to visit again.

From what I remember of this bar (it was my birthday so don’t blame me) I absolutely loved it. Huge fan of champagne and starting to become a huge fan of the cigar.
For champagne they gave me a small bottle that equaled about a glass and a half. I was visiting friends and old roommates and I just remember looking at all of us around the bar puffing cigars and thinking we all looked so classy.
The bartenders were great! They were patient with my drunk ass and made a lot of drink recommendations. My friend picked up the tab so I could not tell you if it was pricey or not :/​Sorry!
I would go back to this place in a heart beat.
