Bow-Wow Unlimited

Five stars all around, this place is sooo friendly and patient. My dog hates getting groomed. Unfortunately she has hair that grows, tangles, and is all over the place. They really try and make her feel comfortable. They don’t stop till your dog’s haircut is perfect. I’ve had issues with other groomers where they couldn’t finish cause my dog is too difficult. Not this place, I’ve always been extremely satisfied
The prices are resonable. Make sure you tip these people, cause they deserve it.

I’ve been taking my 7 year old Yorkie, Max, here for ever a year and a half now and they always do a great job!
On our first visit they took down all of our information and then listened to what I wanted in terms of length and style. They made a note on his card so now every time he comes in, he gets the same cut. Not having to re-​explain myself every time is wonderful. I just say, «the usual please!» and he’s all taken care of!
I always make an appointment, have never tried a walk-​in because my schedule just doesn’t give me much wiggle room for such things. But they can usually get him in within a day or so or even the next day (if it’s not a weekend.)
To bathe him, give him his «puppy cut,» and trim his nails is only $ 35 — plus they always give him a cute bandanna to wear home! I love their affordable prices and that they’re local owned. SO much better than taking him to the chain pet store to get groomed!

This is by far my favorite grooming place. I own a Great Pyrenees and their hair can be tough to manage sometimes, which is why I get him groomed! The staff there are the most pleasant people and I really enjoy bringing my dog there. I have had major issues with Petco and other groomers. Bow Wow knew exactly how to trim and wash him; they even gave me tips on care at home for my pup… and of course they made him look GREAT! Bow Wow was the breath of fresh air that I (and my dog) needed. I am so glad I found them. Not only are they affordable but my dog isn’t traumatized when he leaves there. I can tell they thoroughly enjoy what they do there. I will never take my dog anywhere else.

The hubby and I have a 10 month old pom named Cody. We had been taking her to Petsmart for grooming and have been happy with them but I wanted to find a smaller shop with a little more personal service. After looking at reviews on Unilocal I decided to try Bow Wow Unlimited. They were awesome. As soon as we walked in with her one of the groomers came out to ask what we wanted and to play with Cody and get to know her. I loved that. I treat my pets like my children so I want the groomer or vet to give them the same treatment. When we picked her up she looked adorable. We were very happy with the job they did and it was almost twenty dollars cheaper than the other place. We will definitely be taking her back.

This place is awesome and they are so sweet to my animals. They are fast and efficient and their prices are affordable!

Love this great local business! They are always really friendly and do a great job on my dog. She’s not the easiest to groom because she’s old and crabby but they are always wonderful with her. I guess it’s not that uncommon for a dog to try biting but I’ve had places act like I’m a bad person for it happening. It’s very nice for them to be understanding since it’s guaranteed I feel terrible. Their prices are also very affordable, even after leaving a big tip as an apology for my little monster.

This place rocks! They are so kind and attentive to my dog, even though he tries to bite them while they’re grooming him. Isn’t that crazy?! They always remember his name as soon as I tell them our last name, and they’re always excited to see him. I change my grooming needs practically every visit, and they get it right every time. Plus, they are super affordable. What’s not to like?

I have 2 dogs, Elke and Remy. Wish I could say they are wash and wear dogs. Not so. Must be groomed. I am lucky to have found a great groomer– Lori Gallo. I follow her everywhere. My babies are her babies. She loves dogs, All dogs. She has rescued many. I like Bow-​Wow because they groom the dogs in front of you. I hate it when they take your dog in the back and you have no idea whats going on. I do feel safe with Lori. No dog intimidates her. Take in your crazy, untrained dog. She will dog whisper that dog into a new «DO». Try Bow-​Wow, ask for Lori. They do cats too!

Very nice place, great ladies all good to the dogs. Reasonable prices – and you can see everything they are doing. You can wait for your dog if you make an appointment like that in advance. Walk-​ins for nail trims, so convenient!

Always a pleasant experience at Bow Wow unlimited. They greet you when you walk in, the dog always looks great after he’s had his hair trimmed, and its always done in a timely fashion. Perhaps best of all, its not badly priced.
I will definitely continue to use Bow Wow as my groomer

I brought my mini schnauz here so she could get a new schnauzer suit for the spring. After an incident at Petsmart, I wanted to try another groomer. I made an appointment a couple weeks in advance, but somehow it didn’t end up in their appointment book. This was somewhat annoying, but they agreed to take her in anyway with no attitude, which I appreciate since it wasn’t my fault. I brought her in early on a Saturday and I could tell they were going to be really busy. When I went to pick her up about 3 hours later, she was looking so cute. They did a great job with her haircut, which can be complicated. It was about $ 5 cheaper than Petsmart and I like to give my business to local companies. The groomer even made a comment, «She sure likes to be held!» which leads me to believe they care about the animals put into their care. I’ll be making another appointment here within the next month or so.

I had a Greyhound for several years and took her to Bow Wows when I moved to the neighborhood. They were always great with her. The staff is friendly and caring. I wouldnt take her anywhere else. When I had to put her down, the Bow Wow’s staff sent a condolence card.

i had just moved to the area a few years ago and needed a place to take my dog. i took him a couple of times to House of Phideau on Hampton but the lady working there was so rude i won’t ever go back. my grandpa told me about Bow Wow’s and i’m so glad he did. my dog always looked so cute when i picked him up and i could tell he liked being there. they didn’t keep him there all day like some other places. the prices are very reasonable. the girls are always friendly and accommodating. and i like that they do their grooming out in the main shop area where you can see. i recently moved out of state and haven’t found anyplace i like as much since. i would recommend to anyone and will def be going back when i’m back in the lou.

My husband and I just moved into the South Hampton neighborhood. Our very first home! Along with our home, we also acquired a miniature poodle named Cricket. She had previously been staying with my in laws and was in desperate need of a grooming.
So desperate, in fact, I wanted her to have an appointment somewhere within 24 hours. I left a message for Bow-​wow on Tuesday night, they opened at 8:00 Wednesday morning, and I received a call back at 8:05 telling me they had an opening at 9am. I took Cricket down the street to their shop at that time, they were kind and very excited to help.
Her hair was severely matted and needed a fresh start, so that’s what they gave her. She was almost completely shaved, but still looks adorable. She was only there for 3 hours and when I picked her up I was so pleased, I expected the cost would be outrageous. To my surprise (and pleasure), I paid less for her stay at Bow-​Wow than I did for dinner for my husband and I last night!
Completely pleasant experience and Cricket and I will surely return again!

I was a walk in during a busy holiday rush, they were very welcoming.
They cut my dog’s funky circle toenail on the spot for a great price.
