DON’T USE THIS COMPANY! I had a rental in Sacramento and live out of town. Found Gary on-​line. Gary destroyed my tree and I had to call Don’s tree service to finally remove the entire tree. My tenants said Gary showed up in a small compact car, would only work an hour at a time, and he left a huge hazardous mess. Gary will only communicate online, will not give you a number or address, and his credentials are bogus.(Unfortunately I didn’t check his credentials or license out beforehand. I learned my lesson!).
I certainly don’t believe the previous review. He will only give quotes under 500.00 because you don’t need a contractors license for any work under 500.00. After I refused to pay him for his mess and destroying my tree he threatened to put a mechanics lien on my home.

Since a strong windy storm blew through and left, I am no longer procrastinating about having my trees trimmed for the rest of the winter. My trees were in need of a trim, because they hadn’t had a trim in about 30 years. Last year, my sister had these guys do her trees at her home in El Dorado Hills, and she said they did an excellent job.
She found their website and filled in my info for me. After communicating by email, they agreed to the work and they trimmed 4 big liquid ambers in the front. A pine and another type tree on the front side. An jasmine tree, walnut, and magnolia tree in the back. Very reasonable and good [low] price. Excellent work on the trimming! The place looks great, more open, clean, less like a jungle. The trimming does enhance my place. I am very happy and satisfied. The clean up and hauling was subcontracted out which was fine with me. They did an excellent job cleaning up as well.

Work was good but I did get frustrated with their service. I was repeatedly either not called back, or completely ignored. When I cancelled the job due to not being able to get an estimate on when the work would be done, they apologized and promised to get better… then didn’t. I cancelled the job, then all of sudden a few days later I get home from work and find them at my house finishing up the job.
The work itself was well done and they are very reasonably priced. If you are flexible with the job with regard to allowing a 2 – 3 week window, then you will be satisfied. If you want exact times and days, you need to be very clear about that up front.
